Everything Excelent (Location/Room/Breakfast)! But: Be aware of the "big hole"... Don't forget anything when you leave the hotel. There must be a "big hole" that makes things disappear.

Good size beds and room, excellent breakfast every day.Helpful receptionists. Brilliantly placed for sight seeing and cheap access to airpoprt the tops. Surly senior waitress on weekday breakfast, saved only by her smiley assistant. Constant sewage smell about the room that required the window open whenever possible, not too easy in November!

The Ada Palace was fantastic. Brilliantly located especially for the 3 main museums. Wonderful room, extremely comfortable. We ate in the restaurant one evening and it was delicious, as was the breakfast which had a wonderful range of fresh fruits, cold meats and hot food. Great views over the city from the rooftop terrrace as well as the dining room and bar. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again one day.

This was a splendid experience for me in every way. I had a clean, quiet (and for me, luxuruious) room with a balcony right in the heart of beautiful, elegant Madrid. I had worried about noise in the city center, but when the balcony doors were closed, silence reigned. Everything worked, lights went on when I stepped into the hall, doors were "slam- proof'", the space was clean and the hotel in general was the model of pleasant efficiency. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous, on the top floor where at 8:00 am. I got to watch the sun come up and another wonderful day begin. Ok, there was no bottle opener in the minibar and the cokes were not "twist- off" but that was more than a fair trade-off for such a wonderful, trouble- free hotel,

We paid a bit more for a Suite (Best Extra we have ever had!) so we were very spoilt by the big extra room. We had friends living in Madrid so it was lovely to have your own spacious lounge to entertain in.. The restaurant on the terrace was a wonderful experience. Rooftop bar is exceptional and luxurious but needless to say, very expensive. If the prices were lower it would be packed and would lose it's feel of luxury, so I'd say go for it and just imagine you have paid a fee for one of the most super views and surroundings. The entrance is small and by no means grand, but the staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially Christina! Thanks Ada Palace, we will be back So convenient for Prada and many others, Retiro Park is 15 minutes walk and like another world from the hustle and bustle of Madrid City life..

We found the staff very amenable, the room very comfortable and quiet and the location couldn't have been more central. About 400 metres to the Airport Express bus stop at Plaza de Cibeles - cost only 2 euro compared to the 30 euro taxi fare from the airport. Great paella restaurants just in the street behind the hotel.

ohh my god, just perfect. It was our honeymoon, and they gave us a room with perfect city view. It so close to granvia, and del sol, that we were shopping and leaving to the room, and then going out again. Perfect Location. The interior design of the hotel was so romantic. Really close to Banc de Espana metro station and bust stations. You can use airport shuttle and just get off Cabeles bus stop, and walk straight 200 mt. to the direction of the bus. As you see Metropolis in the corner, just turn right you will see in the other corner the hote. Great breakfest with perfect view of the roof. We are so happy to be there twice. We will prefer definitely the hotel.

Our standard room was very nice with pleasant bright decor and the bathroom was spacious with a super shower. The breakfast had great choice and the scrambled eggs were delicious. Lovely Hotel. We had a huge terrace with sun loungers as well as table and chairs so that was a bonus I didn't expect with a standard room.We took the tour bus around for the day and it was very intersting a great way to get your bearings. We also visited the Prada Museum-please wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot to see. Wandering around Madrid from this central location was great and the airport bus stops at the bottom of the road, a five minute walk away, a 24 hour airport bus service bus service made our life easy. Madrid is safe and I didn't see any crime - having had my bag snatched in Barcelona I was quite nervous but relaxed as time went on. A lovely city with lovely shops.

When we arrived at the hotel, there had been a problem with a burst water pipe. We are taken by taxi free of charge to their sister hotel around the corner. When we returned the next day again by taxi, we were upgraded to a superior room and provided with breakfast at both hotels. The customer service was excellent, and we would have no problems staying there again. The entrance to the hotel and size of the lifts detract from the hotel.

Location. Very close to the excellent Airport Express and sightseeing bus stops. Easy walking distance to the main attractions, shopping and eating places. Very comfortable and clean room. Comprehensive buffet breakfast. Don't let the limited public spaces and services put you off. In particular the reception gives such a bad impression on arrival and more than half dozen people create a traffic jam. Lifts are tiny. Staff (specially in the catering area) are generally efficient and accommodating but not very forthcoming (lack of confidence with language?). Only minor negative points if you are using the hotel only to sleep.

Great location and amazing breakfast, everything fresh [pastries, fruits, meats, etc] and in a very big variety. Comfortable beds and big bathroom. We got a bit smelly room, dark, completely no view-another building was 3 meters away. The shower doors were not really closing, as someone else mentioned before. Also we couldnt turn off the heating/turn on AC. There is no free wifi [hotel charge is16 euro/day!] - you'd expect from a 4**** hotel that it will let you use free wifi.

Excellent location.Very good breakfast with excellent coffe and a lovely rooftop area for drinks As we entered our room the first thing we saw was peeling wall paper accompanied by a musty smell. Not a good impression . The mini bar contents did not correlate at all with the inventory.

“The hotel staff were friendly and willing to accommodate our luggage while we went on a bus tour for southern Spain. In addition, its location was great.
