Hotel Aneto  

Excellent location behind the Boqueria Market some 100 metres from La Rambla boulevard. Since the hotel has no eating facilities, the market is the place to be for your breakfast !! When youre a budget traveller and like to stay in a central location in a 1* hotel, Aneto is one of the hotels you can pick for sure ! Nice basic rooms (clean towels every day), 24h reception, elevator.

If we are to mention a downside (again, you cant be too picky when you choose to travel on budget) it would be the noise at night (due to the fact that hotels like Aneto are former private apartments with thin walls !) Caused by fellow hotelguests who do not seem to realise that they stay in a hotel where other guests may be sleeping at 00.00 when they go out & at 06.00 when they get back from a night out ! :-)

I travelled in a group of 7, we went to Barcelona to watch the football and see the sights. We had a fantastic time, the hotel is in a great location, we did lots of sightseeing, couldn't believe the hotel was actually 5 mins to La Ramblas square (as it stated). Also lots of cafes, bars etc near by.

Only thing I would have preferred was if there was tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, as I do love a cuppa as soon as I wake up, or even a vending machine in the corridor.

I travelled to Barcelona for the weekend to run in the marathon so was not planning spending much time in the hotel. I needed somewhere central, clean and reasonably priced, Aneto was perfect. No breakfast but with the Boqueria market almost next door, what better place to take breakfast.

I felt a real advantage I had a balcony . I very little Spanish/Catalan the staff were very helpful I would definitely stay at this hotel again just for the location

Room was small but very clean. Wi-fi reception escellent. We strongly recommend it if you want visit Barcelona.

The mashine, where you can buy water in a hotel didn't operate at night, ans closest shops closed, so if you want to drink u should buy water beforehand...

The hotel was nice in therms of localization, cleanness and price. But not anything more.

It was too much noise. It was like the building would be alive. You can hear from your room everyting what the other guests are doing in their rooms. I mean, I knew when my neighbors took a shower or did other stuffs in the bathroom. We could hear even the water tubes around our room. But the worst was the other guests. It seems, there is no silence policy in the hotel. Guests coming around 00 c`clock speaking loud in the corredors and so on. I know, that it is not problem of the hotel, but they should have a strong silence policy in the hotel up 10 or 11 pm.

Price is absolutely fair. Small room, but perfect location
