Apartamentos Boabdil    

We turned up late at night and out of season but the owners were very accommodating and kind. Clean apartment with great mountain views. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Would certainly go back again. Thanks!

Friendly, easy-going staff. Garage => no need to search for parking spots in the snow drifts. Close to the ski area. Nice hot shower.

Kitchen equipment a bit limited, it required some planning to cook for four persons. And some spotlights for reading at the beds would be great.

3 mins walk from the door to the piste, good secure covered parking

We were on the upper floors (the building is split level) and needed two lifts to get from the car park

Very pleasant apartments on the outside of the village but very close to the chairlift to the village. Clean. Plenty of cups & pots. Lovely view from the window.

No storage room at all. Had to keep our clothes on the beds. No toiletries so bring your own.

Excellant parking facility

Having stayed at quite a few of these type of low cost, self catering apartments in Sierra Nevada, we thought we knew what to expect. Having packed the car to the roof with everything we could possibly need for our 5 day stay we were shocked to find that we barely needed anything; this place has everything! Fitted out brilliantly, the rooms are spacious and warm; the staff are lovely and couldn't do enough for us. They even offered to drive down to the petrol station for us with a can when we mentioned that the car was low in petrol! The apartments are, unfortunately, quite a walk from the main square, but are saved by the fact that they are literally round the corner from the chair lift which drops you right next to the gondola and runs until 5:30pm. If you miss that - as we did several times!! - the bus runs until a much safer 9:30pm, is only 2.20€, and drops you right outside Boabdil. This place was perfect; had everything we needed; was a lovely place to stay and managed it all on a budget! We would definitely return, highly recommended!

Noisy neighbours and a 4 day long white out which meant we only got one day of skiing!

Dario and his wife made our stay memorable. My wife got the flu and Dario fixed a room after check-out so we others could ski all day. Very nice and thanks again! Service was excellent over all. We will return soon!

The location is calm which is good, but we would have appreciated a decent restaurant in the area.

Staff were great, cost good, apartment was clean and had plenty of space. We had took our 4 kids who's age range was from 4 to 21 and we had plenty of room. Chair lift was just 50 metres away and that takes you straight down to the centre of town and if you are skiing you can start from there.

Everything is very new and clean. We had our meals at the apartment each night and all kitchen supplies were provided (pots, toaster, small stove top, microwave etc) The fridge is described as small- but it is actually large for Europe standards and also has a freezer. There are plenty of heaters and the apartment stays very warm. The bathroom was new with lots of room. The tv has english channels. We had a veiw of the side of the ski slopes (chairs). Underground parking is a must- and here is it free.

The bunk bed my daughter slept in was quite squeeky.

The apartment managers were extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was ideal for a couple and coulld have accommodated 2 children as well. The sofa bed was large and comfortable and the apartment was warm, clean and had everything you need for a short stay. The free parking was also a bonus. The apartment is situated close to the top of the Parador I ski lift so access to the main slopes is easy during the day. Nearby too is a 5* hotel which had a lovely restaurant, bar and also a spa. If you don't fancy cooking then I would recommend going to the hotel for dinner in the restaurant or a drink and very reasonably priced bar menu. Otherwise be prepared for a quiet night in as there is little else to do up at the top of the resort.

The chair lift stops running at 5.30pm which means that you either have to get the bus back up or walk up which is exhausting. Ana, the wife of the apartment manager, was so helpful though and came and picked us up from the resort when we missed the last bus back up (8.40pm).

Estive em Janeiro, com a minha namorada, nestes apartamentos. Não tenho palavras. Não há descrição. Se querem luxo, amigos há o Melia. Portanto não vou falar de luxos. Vou falar do que interessa. Localização: Topo da Montanha, uma vista do melhor que há e uma varanda. Saia das pistas, directo à varanda apanhar um sol e beber uns canecos. Acessibilidade: a 30 metros estão as cadeiras que levam directo a pradollano. O mesmo serve para voltar. Ok, se quiserem ficar lá em baixo no aprés ski, as cadeiras fecham cedo. Eu vim duas vezes cá abaixo. Subia nas cadeiras, tirava o carro da garagem (sim tem garagem e é grátis e não precisa marcação, e isto é luxo). Mas o melhor é o Dario. A pessoa responsável pelos apartamentos. Recebe-nos como se fossemos Reis. Trata de tudo, é uma simpatia. Sai de lá com um amigo. No primeiro dia, como não tinhamos material, nem forfait, levou-nos lá abaixo no carro dele e arranjou desconto no material. Faltava uma tripla para ligar carregadores de telemovel e 1 min depois tinha uma tripla no quarto. Dario, sou o FONSECA, de Lisboa. Daqui a um mês estou ai outra vez e quando for ligo-te. Sim, não volto a ficar noutro apartamento.

Design of main bedroom a little tight for movement around the bed, but didn´t spoil the holiday.

Couple who ran it were excellent - really helpful, always available. Apartments really clean. Comfortable. Great free parking in secure garage.

Needed a kettle in apartment. Apartments quite a way out from main hub of the resort. A long trek to village to shop. Would be really useful to have directions and information in English in apartments so you could easily find all places/things you needed in village.

The room was lovely - beautifully decorated and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Friendly owners, well furnished toasty homely apartments. Free covered parking, great views across the Sierra Nevada.

Last lift up from the village area at 1730hrs, otherwise its a bus or 30-40 minute trudge uphill.

The apartments are very clean and have everything you need for a ski break. The hotel staff (Dario and Ana) are very friendly and go that extra mile to make your stay the best possible. The apartments are conveniently located next to a ski lift. Excelente relation price/quality! Free covered parking was also essential and a plus! Especially in bad weather!!

Nothing to complain

Five stars service, friendly and helpfull. Will recommended to any one. Very friendly staff who took there time to show us around Sierra Nevada. Highly recommend this appartment very clean with great facilities and under ground parking was s bonus. Will defenetely rebook again.

The manager was exceptionally helpful, called to arm about snow chains, he upgraded us (my husbands 60th) foc and the apartment was truly wonderful.

A little high for us near top if village, but of a struggle down steps to gondola to village. Go dola closes 5:30 bus stops 8:40 so little chance for nightlife. We got a 200€ parking fine whilst buying ski pass, warnings in English would be good.

The apartments are very clean and have everything you need for a family ski break. The hotel staff are very friendly and go that little bit further to make your stay a happy one for example the manager drove us down to the ski school and got us a good deal on lessons, lift passes and ski hire. The apartments are very conveniently located next to a ski lift and a bus runs right passed the hotel every 20 minutes or so. Great price too!!!!!

We liked everthing

Great location, walk distance to the Ski chairlift and close to the Village. Nice restaurant in the complex and a panoramic view of the mountains from the balcony. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay (nothing luxurious but everything required) and there is space enough to accommodate 4 adults.

Dario was very welcoming indeed, and helped us get ski passes and ski hire. The location near the ski lift into the resort was helpful, and close to the bus stop. Free covered parking was also essential.

The bed (a sofa bed) was extremely uncomfortable, and we woke with back ache each morning.

Very nice location in the village and very friendly managment.

Staff amazing helpful rooms clean and was a chair lift near by , and a local bus runs every ten minutes to the spuare well recommend

Dario and his girlfriend were very nice and helpful. The apartment was well furnished and the beds were lovely and comfortable. The 2 electric radiators kept the apartment super dooper warm during the night. Free car parking was an added bonus, aswell as being able to bring our shih-tzu with us.

that we couldn't check in until after 5pm. quite a way from the main square and telecabinas (ski lift). there is a chair lift next to the apartments, but these close at 17:30, so if you wanted to be in the resort after that time, you need a car to get back up the hill again (or not mind walking for at least 30 minutes!). was rather dirty/dusty under the bed in the front room.

We loved it, nice spacious new accomodation had studio for four and had plenty of room. Dario and Anna very good hosts and cannot do enough to help. Will be back next year
