Friendly owner and his family. Car parking is available on request (18 euros a night supplement). The location is great - minutes away from the beach, attractions, cafes, bars and restaurants of Cadiz. To make the kitchen in the apartment better, the apartment needs a toaster. What didn't you like? having to leave!

The location is great and the beds are comfortable. The owner Guillermo couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. His restaurant recommendations were spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked the room for four, which was very large but a little dark. We would stay again but in a different room.

The owner/manager was one of the most hospitable and helpful small hotel persons we have encountered anywhere in the world. The hotel displays excellent contemporary Spanish art. Wonderful city, wonderful hotel. Excellent coffee next door in Cafe San Felipe.

That was incredible! We were really happy from staying there!!! Very good placed hotel in the center of Cadiz in the really old district. Guillermo was very friendly and helpful, thank you, Guillermo! Cadiz is not usual city, that's ancient seaport with modern people living there. That's small town but you can walking all the day and find out something new again and again.

As other reviewers have stated the young man who runs the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. It is interesting staying in a house in the heart of old Cadiz and imagining what life must have been like in the past. We had the chocolate room which had a separate bedroom and fantastic bathroom. Everything was very clean and there was everything we needed for a stay of a few days.

Really nice hotel placed in a traditional Andalusian building. Beautiful patio, large design studio-room.The hotel is placed direct into the old part of Cadiz, minutes away from the beach and sightseengs. Really helpful owner that gave us information in what to see and plenty of options where to eat like a local, actually really good. We definitely would stay there if we come again.

We had a perfect stay, and the owner was fantastically friendly. The house is located in the very middle of Cadiz oldtown in a charming street that is peaceful at night. And our room was spacious and bright and also looked pretty new. And bed was very comfortable - we travel quite a lot but rarely get anything as good.

The owner, Guillermo, gave a heartwarming welcome and was very helpful in suggesting things to do and see and generally making me feel very welcome and cared about. I'd been travelling a few weeks by the time i went there and he let me use his washing machine which was very useful! He clearly loves the beautiful house which is his parents house and is where he grew up. He has now altered it very carefully into apartments and rooms but the warm feeling of a family home remains. He lives in one of the apartments himself so is often around if needed. I was in a double room with a shared bathroom. The bathroom was only shared with one other room but it was a slightly strange set up with both rooms having access into the bathroom from connecting doors so you had to knock on the door to avoid walking in on the other people. The bedroom was lovely but the bathroom required attention and was quite worn out with a broken toilet seat and rather grubby shower. It didn't quite match the standard of the pretty bedroom and house and therefore the price seemed a little high for that particular room and bathroom. Guillermo knows all this though and has plans to refurbish that room so hopefully it should be sorted in the next few months. Until then I think the price should be a bit lower than it currently is.

Really nice hotel placed in the real old andulusian building. It was great just to get there, but to stay - it was tremendous imression! Beautiful patio, large rooms, enourmous faced with marble bathroom with huge jucuzzi - everithing was like a dream! The hotel placed direct into the old part of Cadiz, so we could get anywhere we wanted on foot. The owner, a nice young man, was really hospitable, hearty met us ang gave us all the information we could have. He adviced us the main sightseengs we should see in short time, nice restorants we can visit and told us lots interesting about Spain and Cadiz. To be honest we admited all his advices and didnt regret. We saw unbelievable sunset on the seafront, had delicious dinner in fish restorant and the next morning observed the whole city from camera obcura. It was unforgettable and I think it might be the best choice - to stay in this hotel in Cadiz. Anyway we definetly stay there if sometime come again! There are real problem with parking in Cadiz, so if you want to definetely have a parking place you must book it in the hotel. It isnt cheap but this is the only way.The hotel owner kindly helped us to park the car. To be honest he personally drived the car in the extremely narrow streets and parked the car by himself in place we thought it was completely impossible. So with such a nice guy we didnt have any problem :-)

Guillermo welcomed us when we arrived. His English was excellent and he provided us with a map and local recommendations. His recommendation for dinner was one of the best meals we had on our trip. The building is beautiful and the room very clean and comfortable. It is centrally located so an easy walk to all the main attractions in Cadiz. I would strongly recommend staying here! We had a brief issue at check out because I thought I had prepaid for the room and hadn't (my fault, not theirs!), but Guillermo was not around and his parents do not speak any English. There was a bit of confusion for a little while, but I finally asked Guillermo's mother to write down what the problem was and could understand that I had not paid for the room on-line. It all worked out and was really not an issue, but if Guillermo is not around and you don't speak Spanish, you may have a little trouble with communication.
