Apartamentos Bajondillo  

Enjoyed our short stay.

We stayed here several times but this is the first time we had problems with parking but again it was the busiest time of year and the apartments were very busy. Reception and check in took such a long time and staff were too busy to be helpful in any way.

The location is very good, the staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. We have holidayed in Bajondillo Atartments for the past number of years and we feel as if we are coming home every time we come.

The only change I would like to see in the apartments would be a toaster and a microwave.

Very clean - sheets and towels changed daily. Sea view and position excellent. Staff changed room from twin to kingsize and better view with no problem.

Bathroom very spacious, main area needed upgrading and kitchen facilitied very meagre.

After flying from western north america to london to malaga,it is only 10 mins from the airport,is quiet,low price,in the middle of torremolinos sea front.easy place to get over 9 time zone changes for 3 nights,then you can start to enjoy spain.Its a good basic very adequate venue.In November mostly retired people but they come back every year

Excellent location for the beach and onsite swimming pool, Friendly helpfull staff. Apartments quite basic but very clean, rooms cleaned daily, all apartments have private balcony. The price was very reasonable. Great for a relaxing no frills break.

We had a great holiday in Torremolios and our stay at the Bajondillo was great as the location was excellent just what we wanted. All went well until going home, we had booked a shuttle bus three days before departure and were told all was in order. Our departure time was 19.00 hrs so we arrived at 18.40 to be on time and were told that the bus was gone and we should have been there at 18.30. We argued the situation but the manager only said he had this type of thing all the time and we should get a Taxi and pay for it ourselves and there was no error on their behalf. The receptionist was looking at the booking sheet and discovered that we were due to go at 19.00. Manager did not Apoligise in any way, we got our bus at 19.00 and got home safely. I suppose I felt upset that he insisted that it was our own fault and when error was pointed out to him he just walked away. I would suggest that travellers double check their Shuttle bus arrangements with this Hotel.

This is the second time me and my husband have stayed here at this time of year(1st week in oct) It is a very clean apartment and the staff are friendly. I think it is a gret place to stay both for families and older people(we are just 50). We love it that it is so close to the beach,has a pool and entertainment if you want it and close to the town if you want shopping. We will definetely be going back!!

The only thing I would like to see is a kettle for us english people who love our cups of tea!! And the television could be updated and a channel (besides a news and sport channel) in english such as channel 5 or a film channel. There are choices for the spanish(understandeble) and germans. But they are only small things which did not get in the way of us enjoying our stay.

The location was excellent for both beach and town centre

Found the bar staff very unfriendly and had a habit of ignoring people until it suited them. A smile would have made all the difference.

Location of room and hotel was brilliant

Not enough umbrellas in gardens or shade areas

there are a number of services you can avail of i.e. doctor and hairdressers also keep fit classes and night entertainment.

there was no kettle in the apartment and it took ages for a pot of water to boil.

The apt. Location was great and well equipped. We stayed in 1 bedroom and it was the sea side view in the livingroom and in the bedroom it was fantastic. The supermarket below mcdonald and the mainstreet train station is only 7 minutes walk. We cannot forget the sea side view it was amazing!

We arrived on Sunday and asked the front desk if the supermarkets are opened and the young guy told us in Malaga the commercial stores are opened. We went all the way to the city and then found out nothing is opened.

- Near the train station for a city trip to Malaga (ideal for a beach and city trip holiday); - The beach is right in front of you; - Many restaurants from walking distance; - Free wireless internet access (you have to ask for username and password); - Rooms have central heater (we were here during christmas/new year); - Clean beds and bathroom (the design of some furnitures look old, but they are clean).

- Thin walls between rooms; - Strong cigarette smell in rooms (the hotel was crowded and they couldn't guarantee a room in the non-smoking section); - Taking the stairs to the city center may be to tiresome (we didn't use the elevator a few streets further); - There is no soap in the bathroom and kitchen.
