Great location. Very central. Spacious. Very clean. Good shower. Comfy bed. Great funky decor. Very helpful and friendly staff. We loved the fact that we had access to the roof terrace and hot tub at the Cuitat Hotel. A masssive bonus to these wonderful apartments.
Our wifi was down for a day but otherwise it worked perfectly.
We liked the central location which was a street away from las Ramblas with no street noise. We liked having two separate bedrooms and a living space
The windows all faced into narrow central areas like chimneys so no view or daylight to speak of. We had trouble making the double futon into a sofa; it appeared to be broken. The reception was not open as advertised so we had to drop off our key at the main Ciutet Vella hotel. This was nearby but quite a bit further than the metro. This was an issue with heavy suitcases and two kids in tow. Other apartment residents rang our bell accidently several times during the early hours when coming back from partying. The reception staff member was not able to tell us how to disable the ringer. We found out how to do this (using a switch on the phone set) via the internet.
Fantastic little hotel in the heart of Barcelona,
The first impression was not good about the location as it was in a very narrow street but it was very near to ramblas and we were very satisfied with it from our first day the kitchenette was very useful carrefour is a walking distance from the hotel
No 24 hours reception and we stayed during a week end so neither reception nor housekeeping
location and staff were great
no view from windows.
Location was off La Ramblas - the main walking strip in Old City. Barcelona is action packed. This is areally good place to rent for someone that is in the city to party and hit the beach, port etc. well located to connect with Metros and nightlife. Staff are courteous ( Rosaury) helped us with printing our Boarding passes too - which is not really easy to do in Spain. You have to find an Internet cafe and many do not have printers.
The apartment mentions nothing about no access to the street by taxis. This is useful information when a family or children are traveling. THe apartment is not worth 210 Euros a night - it is very small and the facilities/amenities are not **** to be charging that kind of money. Good but can be cleaner for example. Not really clean - dishes had stains.
1)Very noisy It took us several phone calls to the ciutat vella management to get security to the block to sort out the noisy people and this was very stressful. 2)The lane is very dirty with people urinating at night. 3)The 2 bed 2 bath apartment is very small and is very dark and dingy for a family with young kids. 4) One has to pay extra for everyday cleaning of the apartment
Central location, just around the corner of La Rambla, great apartment, helpful staff...
Apartment lovely, location good,
At night groups of prostitutes around the area and the hotel where you drop keys off a fair distance and hard to find, especially at night
Location, location, location
Billed as an apartment for 3 - 4 adults, the second bed was actually the bed settee in the sitting area, so there was only a kitchen table to sit at.
Friendly staff and clean facilities.
Noisy building work opposite.
Modern styling and all facilities on tap
Extraneous noises, hard to control.
Apartment very small for six of us but all men so not an issue really, shower (only one) time in the morning took a while but was very clean and did what we needed ie somewhere to sleep and shower.
The location could be deemed to be a bit intimidating but again not a problem for six blokes, I would not have wondered back on my own in the early hours though.
Location to the Rambla (restaurants, bars). Size of the apartment
We had issues with the WIFI
Location Friendly Staff
Dirty Bathroom Collection of key very far from where we stayed. Had to walk 15 min with suitcases. Bed very hard. Noisy
Location was excellent. Taxi driver dropped us off on La Ramblas and showed us the way down a narrow but very clean lane way.
Rather noisy on first night from loud banging on front entrance. Other two nights were quiet and our sleep not disturbed.
Very centrally located, clean and well equipped, friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended.
Friendly helpful receptionist. We had a problem with the stove tripping the fuse, were offered another room, no problem. I would stay there again.
Two single beds pushed together to make a king size, fitted with single sheets, made it difficult to sleep together.
