Very good, safe location in the city centre. Modern and comfortable apartments. Wonderful views from the terrace. Helpful owner . The apartment offers everything you may need for your stay there . Really recommend it!
Sofa-bed is not very comfortable, but it's not a very big problem.
Nice big rooms.
Difficult access by car; establishment located in closed walking only streets. Extra 20.00€ for late check in fee. So don't think of arriving late.
Right in the middle of old Malaga
No Window in the unit. No staff on duty. Bathroom too small. Only one ceiling light for the bedroom/living area. Only table unit was a coffee table, no side tables in sleeping area. No sitting area, just one couch.
Close to old city centre and a 10 minute walk to the harbour. Quick access to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. City centre is vibrant every night. Close to the city market with a great range of fresh, good value food. Apartment was modern inside and reasonably well kitted out.
Location of apartment is in area of city yet to be renovated. Lots of graffiti and a bit run down looking in the immediate area. Staff kept us waiting on arrival day despite being told of our arrival time by e-mail, and a phone call on our arrival in Malaga to confirm our arrival time. We did not get access to the apartment until after 3pm when we had advised them we would be there at midday. Parking is expensive at €23.5 each night in a nearby multi story carpark. You cannot park near the apartment. The apartment offers cheaper parking but only have one place at €15 per 24 hrs. We paid for this parking for 4 nights but they then could not supply it for one of the nights and promised a refund of the money paid but a month has passed and I've not yet been refunded. I was surprised by the good reviews for the apartment given the run down appearance of the immediate location (check out street view). I would only recommend to travellers without a car. You can hire one each day if you need one for just about how much it cost to park it!
Although it's entrance is down a small (and rather dingy) alleyway, the apartment was fabulous. We'd booked the duplex apartment which has a spiral staircase up to a private terrace with chairs and sunbeds. The apartment itself was spacious and had a kitchen area (with microwave and hob, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and kettle) and dining and seating area, a bedroom and bathroom with a large shower. It also had a washing machine. It's only a short walk to an area filled with bars and restaurants and also to the cathedral and Alcazabar. Free wi-fi.
Very clean, spacious, well equipped (although no kettle), modern, comfortable, great central location, yet quiet at night, communal roof terrace although three floors up was small but very usable and sunny - luckily no-one else used it while we were there.
Problems getting in to the apartment - left standing outside for 20 minutes at 10pm trying to contact the staff by phone to no avail. No views at all from the apartment and no direct access to outside space (photos slightly misleading)
Very good locality in the centre, nice terrace on the roof...
Apartment for 4 people, but 2 people on not so good sofa... Also not realy divided space between kitchen and bedroom - it is for all to sleep or all not to sleep...And wifi was functional only few hours, then nothing. But we staid just 1 night, may be it was accident.
hard to find
Reception exists as location but for 3 days nobody showed up which is not what its written when you are making reservation. We were waiting for 1 hour for somebody to show up to give us keys despite the fact we sent e mail with time of our arrival in advance. I thing it is practice because we saw some people waiting later on. For 3 days 2 hours of wi-fi. If your neighbors are just a little noisy you will not sleep and there is nobody to complain as written before.
location, close to the city center
very noisy at night, you can hear everyrhing from another apartaments, reception was closed all the time and we had to wait over 30 min for someone with the key (we specified the time of arrival twice) and no apology was givenn
- clean and modern apartment - complete privacy - excellent location in the very heart of Malaga - perfect size for a group of 4 people - kitchen perfectly equipped - large and fully equipped bathroom
Wifi was really bad and also mobile connection, but I believe it has something to do with the location of the apartments (city center, narrow streets, thick walls...) - reception was always closed, however, you can call the owner if you need anything - the apartment is supposed to accommodate 4 people, however, there is only one double bed and a sofa, which was broken...
The central location of the apartment
Very Noisy at all times of day and night. Don't take apartment 1..
Well equipped Clean Great location
Little privacy without covering all windows, which gives the otherwise great apartment a very enclosed feel. We had to wait around in order to pay cash which was a minor nuisance.
We liked the apartment was in the heart of the old town and offered a parking spot in an underground garage. The parking was secure and the spot was big enough (not like usual Spanish parking lots where you wonder how to fit your car if it's not a mini cooper :D). Wifi was good as well. Kitchen was modern and well equipped at first glance (didn't really use it so i don't know if it lacks anything).
We had "an appointment" with the receptionist so that we aboid the wait at checkin. But even then, we had to wait for more than 30 min. Make sure you get all the details in advance via email regarding where to leave your car while doing checkin (you have to check in first and then you can leave the car in the parking), where the parking is, etc. One other thing which was not good - we were 4 people sleeping in a 2 bedrooms apartment. well, 1 bedroom and 1 living room. Sleeping ont he couch wouldn't have been a problem BUT: the bedroom is NOT really separated from the living room. There is a door alright, bu the wall between the bedroom and the living room is not complete. There is a space between the wall and the ceiling so basically there was no privacy for the two couples - whatever happens in one room can be heard loud and clear in the other room.
The apartment is lovely. Well presented and high quality. Plenty of space.
Unless you are used to sleeping in groups, this apartment has no doors and is wide open to noise in the night. I travelled with my family, but either the aircon was on, clicking regularly as it reached desired temp or the windows were open revealing the noise of a busy city. Also breathing/coughing/living was amplified. We needed a quick cost effective stay with an early morning start. If this had been me and my wife, this would have been ideal, but in reality we would have been better with 2 rooms in the cheaper ibis near by. When the children aren't with us, we would happily use again, but not as a family.
- very nice and spacious apartment; - great location; - very helpful staff; - very good value for money.
- weird bathroom layout.... you can see people using the toilet if you're coming down the stairs... - I found a cockroach in my bag...
The environment is good.
There is no reception when we arrived there before 18:00. We were waiting for 10mins at the closing gate.
The Apartamento is well equipped, with good standard. Close to everything. Malaga is a nice city with lots of shopping, restaurants and cafe-bars. The Beach is close, just a 15-20 min walk through the park.
It was a little bit difficult to find the Apartamento C.There was never any personal in the reception. When people came back to Coronado in the evening, they made a lot of noice. The fasade is under repair. They were working/making lots of noice from early morning (from 08.00 AM)
This was a very modern apt with a great roof terrace off the bedroom that gets sun all day. The bedroom is a mezzane and has open viewing to the downstairs sitting and dining areas where there is a sofa that will sleep one and two single camp beds that can be set up. It is ideal for a family or group of friends but not for 2 sets of couples. It is centrally located and has great WIFI access. I will hopefully return again.
It could have done with a kettle but I understand the owner was going to purchase one and some proper wine and cava glasses - there were only tall glasses.
It is very chic and large flat. You can find what you need. Very clean. Nice design. ıt has a nice terrace for sunbath. Very central.
Very modern, uncluttered and spacious. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Very quaint and is quite close to shops, cafés, etc.
Slightly difficult to find once you get to the smaller streets, no one seemed to know where Coronado was, but once you find it, it's easy to make your way there and back.
We loved this apartment for its location in the heartof the historic area which was busy with people restaurants and shops outside yet a quiet haven inside. It was avante garde in design with all equipment one could need in an apartment. The internal spiral staircase went up to a huge deck with views over rooves and of church towers. It was a wonderfully spacious air conditioned space for two people. The office staff were excellent and the apartments were very secure.
The location map was fuzzy and did not show the name of the plaza at the end of Comdedias where we were left by the taxi. This made the entrance difficult to find although the written directions were fine. I would have liked a news TV station in english although with the internet this is no longer so necessary.
We couldn't have had a better location with a balcony and beautiful clean and modern apartment. Just loved it and would definitely return to this particular apartment.
Comfort and convenience in the heart of centro historico de malaga. Friendly staff, cute little roof terrace for your early breakfast and a modern environment to spend some hot days.
Wifi a bit weak depending on the room you are in.
