The apartment was clean and set out well. The receptionists were all really friendly. Very good location.

Could do with a little refurbishment in the kitchen area of the apartment .

Location was ideal

Having to pay for a sunbed by the pool or for toilet roll!!

Close to beach

Having to pay €30 for late check out, not being allowed to play light music in rooms during the day and having to leave £100 deposit for the room when already paid in full

Great location, close to beach. Comfortable sofa bed. Other reviews stated that the beds were 2 foot wide. This is not the case. They are std single size. This is a budget place and you get what you pay for.

No stuff for cleaning. Towels small and thin and only changed 1 x week. There is nowhere to wash and hang them to dry. Biggest problem is that there is a window between the bedroom and the main room which doesn't have a curtain. As soon as someone turns on the light in one room, everybody is woken up because of the light. Fine for 2 or 3 people but wouldn't want to stay a week there with 4.

The apartment was perfect location with small children, a few minutes walk to the beach front and shops and harbour, very budget friendly, staff are friendly and always at hand.

The sofa bed needs an upgrade as this was uncomfortable to spend 4 nights in a row on.

One of the best hotels I've ever been staying - excellent location (two minutes of walking from the beach, fifteen minutes of walking from the city center, wonderful transport facilities, many bars, restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops around). The rooms are not big, but comfortable, with a sea view, and in the little kitchen you may find everything you need. As for the personnel of the hotel - it's beyond any words: very caring and friendly and makes you feel at home from the first minute of your arrival. Very cosy atmosphere, good swimming-pool, nice bar near swimming-pool. So, my very special greetings and thanks to all the hotel staff (Pablo, Pilar, Rafael, Jose Miguel etc.). I'm sure that some day I'll come back again to Benalmadena - and for sure again to this hotel...

The sound isolation was not very good, beds were not so comfortable and the absence of Wi-Fi in the room. But in comparison with all the advantages and pleasures I've got staying in this hotel this was nothing.

The staff were incredibly rude. Please note this is the staff in the aparthotel, not in the hotel bar Eldorado underneath

It was clean and quite, and was very well appointed just right for me .

The bed was far too small for myself and i am just average size.

i would reccomend doramar to anyone without hesitition. i enjoyed my stay to the full. i will be back. no problems at all. first class.

Took towels away mid-week and had to pay extra for replacements. Photos showed rooms with balconies but my room had only a window which overlooked somebody's kitchen so no view at all despite my specially requesting a view.

rooms are not big enough for 4 adults we had to purchase a second room. the air conditioning did not work properly, so had to have window open the noise levels were unexceptable, didnt get clean sheets/towels unless you paid for them, had to pay extra 30 euros to keep room for a shower.

very friedly staff, relaxing even though we traveled as a group of 12 lads on a stags party. Location was clos to the beach food & night life.

drinks bought within the hotel at the desk shop whern't allowed down & out into the pool area. it m be due to pool been managed by a different company but bit too late after ones purchased something. other then that litle matter everything was as expected if not more.

Cheap and comfortable accomondation. Wouldnt recommend to familys with small children, due to late night revellers coming in and being very loud! Would highly recommend to stag/hen dues and groups out for a good time as the 24 hour square is just a walk away and I had many good nights out there!

The one thing I didnt like was the fact that you werent allowed to take your own drinks/food to the pool, so it meant that we had to keep going to our room to have some water!
