Great location on the outskirts of Cazorla with easy 10 minute walk to the bars and restaurants, although uphill coming back. Close to La Iruela, as well as good access direct from the apartment for walking in the countryside. Heating was good for an autumn/winter break, as the evenings were cold during our stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Great view from our apartment.
Nothing. However, if you were staying there for more than a short break you may wish there was an oven, particularly in winter.
very friendly and helpful owners of the hotel; comfortable, very nicely located for trip to Parque Natural de las Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas; nice view if the mountains and the valley, very good price
The owners were very helpful and provided excellent help and advice when needed. The underground garage and seperate bike room gave excellent security. The apartment was well equipped and very clean.
Although quiet at night, the early morning traffic (06:30) was noisy. But, I live in a quiet location in the country.
Well pretty much everything. It suits us to be a little way out of town. Easy walk to the centre & back even for us 60 something's.
Other guests could be a bit noisy late at night. Just sitting in the communal area chatting. Hey they were on holiday too. No real problems.
I travelled there with my adult daughter and my elderly mother. The apartments were easy to find. On arrival were given a very warm, welcome by Carlos and his sister, Blanca. The apartment was absolutely spotless, with good facilities and a beautiful view from the balcony over the distant olive groves. The sunsets we saw from this balcony were outstanding. The apartment had two fans which were more than adequate in keeping us cool. Having a garage beneath the apartments enabled us to park the hired car in a place where we knew it would be secure. We were touched to receive a complimentary bottle of olive oil from the region of Cazorla and to find a cooled bottle of water in the fridge for us. We went out with Carlos on quite a few occasions; he was very good company and we really enjoyed spending our time with him. We loved our stay in Cazorla and hope to return there again soon. Thank you Carlos and Blanca for really making our stay special.
Amazing place, everything was terrific. The manager was wonderful too We would return any time
WI Fi was not up to par
1. Easy access by car, as it is alongside the main road into the Natural Park. 2. The friendly welcome from Carlos and his family.
1. Traffic noise on weekday mornings (our apartment was at the front of the building). 2. The walk into the two lower squares was actually 20 minutes - and steeply uphill coming back!
Our apartment on the first floor had spectacular views of a vast sea of olive trees. The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything was just like new. The inner courtyard was charming with plenty table and chairs to chill out, and there's a rooftop garden too. There is a lift. The owner Juan Carlos was charming and took time to show us round and provide maps and recommended places to eat. We had peace and tranquility and it was only a 10 minute walk down to the town. Simply amazing value for money!
Nothing, but we found it hard to find. It's actually easy - simply turn left opposite the red-signed Dia supermarket on your right about halfway up the main road up to town, then turn right at the top of the hill. The apartments can be found on your left. Simples !
Casi no había cobertura wifi, el resto fenomenal
Good location, good apartment
This is a very comfortable place to stay while exploring the national park. The location is great, being on the road to the park and yet only a 15-minute walk to town center. Juan Carlos and Blanca were wonderful, ready to help with any questions or needs. Great also to have parking, as it seemed quite limited in the town center.
We had trouble finding it. It would be helpful to have written instructions, as you need to go through town to get to the apartments.
Everything was great! Superb location, great views from your room, very good facility, the staff is very friendly and informative. Parking lot is available in the basement with an elevator that takes you right up to your room.
Extremely nice owner - Juan Carlos, views, close to the city centre - 10-15 min. and walking trails, perfecly clean, with all amenities necessary for comfortable stay, lovely & calm patios, clear info on how to use wi-fi & tv. In total all!!!
narrow and steep roads in the city centre:)!
We had a wonderful welcome from Juan Carlos, who took time to explain everything about the area and some of the walking routes in the national park. The family were all very friendly and the apartment was spotless and well equipped. Nothing was too much trouble and when our daughter came to join us for a couple of days she was made very welcome. The location was perfect; at the end of the town on the right side for driving into the national park. I highly recommend these apartments and will stay again if I get the chance.
Everything was fantastic
The owners are very helpful and friendly. Apartment looks nice and it comes with the free parking spot in the garage. Highly recommended if you plan to stay around Cazorla
Beautiful, modern and very clean. We spent two nights in a very comfortable and nicely furnished apartment. The kitchen was excellent and it was a great place to relax and cook after hiking in the Sierra de Cazorla. The owner was really friendly and helpful and the location of the apartment was perfect for us - just a short walk from the town. We'll definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it.
The only thing that could have made it better is a hairdryer.
The manager was one of the friendliest people we encountered on our journey. We felt less like clients and more like family. Perfect location--still close enough to town for convenient walking access to grocers, shops, bars, and restaurants, but on the northern outskirts so that trips to the national park were very easy as we could avoid the traffic in town, which can be really chaotic. Facilities are lovely. Small kitchens, great bed with plenty of blankets for cold mountain nights, lovely balcony and atrium just outside. We were already contemplating our return by the time we had to leave. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.
Not actually a complaint, but a caveat: make sure you know exactly where you're going before you get into Cazorla. The sign is a small, recessed, and impossible to read from the road after dark and our sat nav had no clue where it was based on the address. The genius sitting in my passenger's seat found it by looking at a photo and then counting railings. I would have been wandering around town asking locals without her.
After travel traveling extensively in Spain for the last month and a half, this was the best all round accommodation we've stayed in. The family who own and run it went out of their way to make it a very pleasurable stay.
