For business in the Financial district of Madrid this is a good location at short distance from Metro station Cuzco. Apartments are a bit run down, but overall still in bearable state. Avoid the rip off on Internet charges (around 13 Euro/24 hrs!), go instead to nearby Starbucks (couple of hundred yards away). The Booking.com said there was free internet in the lobby, but it turned out there isn'T. Plenty of places to have breakfast (Delina's across the road has free Wifi too). What made me choose the hotel was the roof pool. Great to have a dip in the sunshine at 18.30 hrs! Pool is well kept. Hotel staff was courteous at all times. Although the site says there is free internet in the public areas, beware this is not the case ! There simply is only paid internet available (13 Euro's / 24 hours !) This info should be corrected on the site asap, as I would not have chosen this hotel if I had known beforehand.

Good location. More space than a hotel room. Good value for money. Apartments in need of some investment and better servicing.

Happy with the apartments - would definitely stay again. Location was perfect for us and the children loved the freedom of the apartments Free wi-fi in public areas - the reception staff were not helpful at all regarding this - told the children they didn't know the code and it could only be used when the office was opened - which office?

I liked the location in a nice neighbourhood in the northern part of Madrid. Their breakfast buffet was very nice, and the building was not so full during my stay, so it was fairly tranquil. I would recommend that they update their facilities, their furniture, and specially the carpet. The staff was friendly, but they could use someone to help out with the luggage which needs to be carried up quiet a few steps into the lobby. Moreover, they should offer a proper business center with free Internet.

The Eurobuilding 2 provides you with a relatively modern apartment with one bedroom, living-dining room and kitchen. It is very close to the number 10 metro line which takes you directly downtown. The staff is friendly and the apartments are reasonably priced.

good location and good price though place getting somewhat run down no internet facilities which were removed recently and WIFI connection very expensive per day; most of the staff are OK but not very informative about local facilities such as where to purchase water/groceries on a public holiday when there are two facilities close by where you can buy groceries

It was convenient for my purpose but noisy. I first stayed for 2 nights 21- 22 Oct. This cost 130 Euros. I was impressed by the size and satisfied with the decor, cleanliness etc. Last night I returned and was allocated a grubby apartment. The bedding and towels were clean but that was all. My main complaint was that the door failed to lock as I was on my way out to meet friends for dinner, The problem was resolved after I had been delayed for at least 30 mins. I had to guess at the number for reception because there was no information in the room. On my return, I would have liked a hot drink. There was no means of boiling water even though the 'kitchen' had fridge, unplugged, an oven and dishwasher , why? I will never stay here again.

The apartments were spacious and value for money. The breakfast is provided in a room on level 2 accessible by walking down one flight of stairs and then up a separate elevator. Stayed 8 nights and received the internet for 6 euro per day- more affordable than daily rate. Pillow not comfortable. Unit was reasonably renovated.

Large rooms, separate kitchen This hotel desparately needs redecorating. Everything is wearing out. We only had cold water in the shower for 2 out of 5 days. Kitchen poorly equipped, no kettle, no tea or coffee.

The apartment was quit big and clean. In the kitchen there were: fridge, microwave, electric cooker, cutlery, some tableware and pots. The breakfest was served really long - up to 12.00 A.M. I have received an apartment for smokers alhough my reservation was for non-smokers. There was a little cold in the evening and during the night because of window leak. I wanted to warm the room by air-conditioning but it did'n work. There were no vegetables on the breakfast, coffee was really bad. In Saturday and Sunday the breakfest starts late - on 8.30 A.M. There was no possibility to leave the luggage in the reception for a few hours after checking-out.

Spacious, clean bright and airy. Really handy for access to old city but has the advantage of being away from it all too. The roof top pool was a fantastic relief from the hot hot weather

The location was good for an event I was attending. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was fairly accessible to the Metro. It is not possible to write things that I did not like about this hotel without mentioning the service by your staff. So, therefore, I will. My first day of arrival at the hotel was preceded by a harrowing day of traveling from Canada and tiredness from making arrangements for an event I was attending. After checking in at the front desk, I asked the man at reception for some water and he abrasively sent me down the street to purchase some. I think this was rude and impolite to a guest. However, another kindly gentleman who was at the front desk went and got me a bottle of cold water which I drank heartily. I then asked him to assist me with an item for my computer, but he simply shrugged his shoulders. I stayed at this hotel again for two nights prior to my departure from Spain to go back to Canada. Again, this same man was there and I asked for some water to drink and he again rudely sent me down the street to purchase it. I had a very pleasant experience with a gentleman at the front desk named Javier Garcias. He was very kind and accommodating. I would like to commend him on very excellent service.

“I chanced upon this hotel as I was looking for shifting out of an excessively highly priced downtown hotel. My experience was very pleasant. Booking via booking.com gave me a room 3 times bigger, with free access to wi-fi (Euro 12/day in other hotel), and a bottle of wine to top it up. The area was very nice and if one keeps about 15 minutes commuting time by Metro, it would be a steal to stay here for any business or holiday traveller to Madrid …. ” Sandeep, New Delhi |
