Location. Hot water. Budget, you get what you pay for.
Service. No one to help check-in. No English speakig staff. Heating system not worked. No beddigs for sofabed. Tiny apartment. Rooms very dark. No hair dryer, shampoo etc. Construction noise next to apartment.
clean and quiet.
need to have more instruction on how to check-in and check-in times. When we arrived we were lucky to run into cleaning personnel who contacted the office manager for us. If this person had not been there, it was unclear how we would of contacted anyone to check-in, there was no contact telephone number posted or provided when the booking was made. In many places in Spain businesses close in the afternoon and don't open again until 8:00 pm.
Check in and out...no one there..bakery pick up key info vague-concerns if late back no key....this info should be on website...some travelers don't have phone..
Central location Great Value Had everything we needed Comfortable beds
Black mold in the bathroom
Apartment was in a good location
Beds were very uncomfortable. Single ones only suited for children. Staff didnt have english. Very noisy.
Quiet even though it was in the town centre. We were travelling as a large group and with family and friends and had 3 apartments which were by the far the best value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff.
We had to help our family and friends check in because of the language barrier.
Location in city center, nice and convenient room and kitchen, quiet, free parking can be found nearby.
Staff is not at the place all time, if you arrive later in the evening need to notify in advance or you can ask in Pasteleria (cake shop) round the corner.
Location was excellent, Apt was clean. A bit basic.
Not very comfortable for a stay of more than 2 or 3 nights, lounge small for a 2 bed. No kettle.
Perfect location near the center, 10 min walking distance from the beach and the port. Staff is very kind, but doesn't speak English.
Little bit small for 4 adults. No free of charge parking.
1. It was an apartment and therefore more room than just a room and we could eat in when we wanted. 2. Quiet area. Nestled back among other apartments and not subject to street and tourist noise. 3. Washer (but no dryer). 4. Location good in that within walking distance of the ferry to Morocco, restaurants and shops, and even the bus station once we discovered the short cuts.
1. Even though it had a washer, there was no dryer and no real good way to dry the clothes other than hanging on hangers and then on door knobs. 2. Air conditioning inadequate to cool. Had to leave windows open at night to get a breeze and then it was damp air and somewhat noisy although not much noise in the street. Dampness made for musty smell. 3. Cars were blocked from the immediate area (sticker parking only) so taxis could not get on the street. People in stores were not familiar with the apartments. 4. Directions to the apartment on internet not good and therefore hard to locate. 5. Landlady spoke very little English and had no one else available so therefore hard to communicate. 6. There was no hair dryer available in the unit. 7. There was no English TV channel.
The location and the management. Tarifa was really great. There is a really good restaurant close by.
A little cramped for 5 people in the apartment.
We felt very welcome, thank you
Great location next to the church in old town Tarifa.
Quite small four two adults and two kids. No view. Roof top terrace is for hanging out clothes only. Pricey but perhaps that reflects Tarifa. Fiddle with the AC controls to get it working, it was just blowing hot air when we arrived. Noisy AC.
The apt. was very clean and bright. We had booked a larger apt. but there was some type of mix up so we had a smaller one but they provided a roll away bed. Once you found the actual building, it was in a very charming part of Tarifa.
Spent 45 minutes trying to locate the apt. No one in town seemed to know where the apt. was located so kept getting conflicting information. Once we were checked in I never saw the office open again. Thought I had paid in full on line but when we signed in, found that half of that was booking fee and still owed 98.00 which was an unpleasant surprise. Booked an apt. for 4 and something got mixed up so we had a very tight apt. with a roll away so the 4 of us were a bit cramped.
It is a hidden gem. It's pretty, secluded, and pretty quiet.
It's a little small for 4 people (2 older teens) but for a single overnight stay it worked fine for us.
Great location in the old town, but set back from the noisy night life. The apartment was well equipped and had a great shower. Tarifa was such a beautiful place. We went for a fantastic horse ride on the beach, which was a highlight.
I don't understand, why this lovely hotel has a review score of 7,6. The appartement was very nice, very clean, nice and lovely decorated. There was a loundry machine. The owner was very friendly. You could always find them at the bakery nearby. Location was very close to the beach. Public parking nearby was not expensive.
Lovely apartments, great location, good price. A bit tight for 4 adults - we were 2 plus a baby so it was perfect.
I really like this hotel. Located in the old city it is very charming. Very close to everything and 10 minutes walk from the port. Excellent to have a kitchen. Owners are nice.
Nice layout, modern and very clean. In the old city which is nice!
The staff were hard to catch in the office and hard to get ahold of. We had to wait a while to check in before someone showed up (I sent my arrival time) and again to check out.
Spacious apartment with all kitchen facilities. Walking distance to ferry.
No reception on arrival. Had to go find owner of apartment in local bakery as there was no one there to check us in even though we had sent emails and texts with our arrival time. No apology from staff. Room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.
Accommodations were good. Location was a short walk to most of the city center.
Internet code was incorrect, missing one digit. No staff onsite most of the time. A little difficult to locate. Parking a 5-10 minute walk (But now free).
It was well specified and had a great large shower.Quiet at time of our visit and very central close to port and access to Tangier.
The second bedroom was actually the kitchen / reception room rather than an actual second bedroom , which was ok for a one night stay but might not be ideal if you wanted to stay a week.
