The traditional andaluces courtyard at Apartamentos Jerez was a serene delight. The apartment had amazingly high ceilings with original beams, a tiled floor and a window that looked out onto the statue of Lola Flores. Although it was 28°C outside, the apartment maintained a pleasant ambient temperature, so I didn't need to use the air conditioner. Basic cooking facilities (cooktop and microwave), a bar fridge and a washing machine were provided. The ensuite had a large walk-in shower. Only a 6 minute walk into the centre of town. There were plenty of places to eat nearby.

The late check-in of 4pm and sporadic attendance of the concierge at reception may not suit some travellers. The apartment had a somewhat unsympathetic renovation. Cosmetic things such as mould in the corner of the shower recess had not been attended to. The washing machine electrical lead and extension lead only just reached the powerpoint. A small problem that would be easily fixed by a longer extension lead.

Good position for exploring the location. Staff [including the local bar owner] very accommodating with regard to our arrival outside general hours. Very good ambience to the property, the shared terrace was a welcome escape from the bustle of the town.

Not to be recommended if mobility is a problem as stone staircases are, in keeping with the property, somewhat a worn. The road is fairly busy from early morning which may be a problem for light sleepers.

Could be noisy at nights over the weekend, some bars very close. Mostly flamenco muisc drifting up though......

The hotel is in a neighborhood of apartments and small bars, so it has an authentic feel. Parking was nearby and secure. Chemy, the desk clerk, was kind and helpful.

We indicated one of us had a mobility issue, so we were assigned a room with just a few steps to reach. Then, however, we found the living room had a sharp right angle down VERY steep and narrow tile over cement steps with no handrail to the bedroom. It was extremely dangerous for any one , let alone someone with walking problems. Then it was like a basement room with cement block wall and windows at ground level. One window was right at the front entry to the hotel and atone walking by could look down into the bedroom , there was no shade for privacy into the bedroom. The bed was a thin mattress on a frame and was like sleeping on a poor pullout sofa. We wanted to like this hotel as the garden area is charming and the staff kind , but it just was not suitable for us. Note that Chemy spoke excellent English but the man who replaced him in the evening spoke no Englush and do we could not ask him anything.sorry!

Very original old place. Staff are really helpful and give all sorts of advise if needed. Situated in towncenter. Parking is available in a building next door, allthough 12 euro per night is a not cheap. Great place, we'll come again.

    The location, the courtyard.

The `apartment` was very small and not very well equipped for cooking. We didn`t do any. It did not resemble any of the pictures we saw on the web-site. Felt a bit conned but we made the best of things. The mezanine bedroom was interesting.

We were very happy with our stay which lived up to our expectations. The owners were helpful and friendly and were able to give us lots of advice.Knowing a good restaurant was particularly helpful.Being able to stay in a typical traditional Spanish property was what we had hoped for.

Central location. The design and layout of the building is charming.

The conversion of rooms was badly done. Windowless bedrooms and minute double bed. Shower cubicle was too small.

The location is very good, close to train and bus station and close to town. The apartment has all things needed for a comfortable stay, including very good cleaning It was delightful to walk in and out through the beautiful patio, with the friendly resident neighbours, residing there was a large part of the pleasure of my stay in Jerez.

There was nothing about the apartments that I disliked, only the difficulty finding the place at first due to scarse street naming in Jerez.

Location is very convenient, to many flamenco peñas, carreforre, market, plaza arenal. Quiet neighborhood and atmosphere of the whole building with nice patio and terrance for relax.

The hotwater system was unfortunately broken on the first 2 days of our arrival so we cannot take hot shower and wash hair after whole day of dancing and sweating (we are there for studying in flamenco festival), which was rather uncomfortable. After the water was repaired everything was fine, the supply was enough for 4 of us to use, and we even got free cleaning service (which should be paid as the description said). The washmachine on the terrance seem not dry well maybe an instruction will be helpful. Wifi is not strongly covering you have to sit in the room facing the patio and get closer to it.

The staff were great and very helpful. bed and room were clean and tidy. Free WiFi was quite strong compared to other places I have stayed.

As they do not have a restaurant or room service I would have liked them to provide details of places to get food delivered. Would have asked but no one on the desk. Outside the hotel is a cobbled road which makes cars going past sound like noisy lorries. I was there in winter and the rooms have very high ceilings which makes heating the room with the small heater they provided a bit difficult. On road parking can be very difficult.

Great central location clean and friendly hotel. The staff were very helpful.

Do not stay here if you are overweight you will not be able to use the shower or toilet as the space in the bathroom is tiny.

The way thy had maintained the original character of the building while using high standard innovations e.g. Bathroom, tiles kitchen.

The stairs, and the TREMENDOUS difficulty we had in finding it. I think we spent nearly as long driving around Jerez as getting there from Faro, because Jerez does not seem to put up street names.

Very welcoming staff and neighbours. It was no problem to get a cot and also a high chair for our 10 month old child. We stayed a few days in a renovated apartment; there was not to much daylight but it was quite good. Close to the historic part of Jerez and to "Bar Maypa" which we can recommend.

There was water leaking from somewhere in the bathroom (we think from the shower); we don't know if it's already repaired. If you are travelling with smal kids a broom would be nice in the rooms - but I think if you ask therefore you will get one

Extremely friendly & helpful family run apartments. If there is a problem, they take care of it fast. Very nice people too. Close to everything.

I forgot my 2 beers when I left. Hope they enjoyed them!

    - The sheets used in the beds are not made from cotton, probably made from cheap synthetics, which makes the sleeping very uncomfortable. - It is so hard to find the street where the hotel is located.
