A beautiful, traditional property in a very good location. Easy walking distance to the town centre and transport links. Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and good simple bathroom and kitchen area.
Firstly let us point out that we were in Jerez de la Frontera during the Flamenco festival. That said, the noise from other guests was infuriating. Dancing and singing at all hours (4am in one instance). The glass in the ceiling light fixture would rattle away as the amateur flamenco stars practiced for the "Best new drunken talent" award. The management have printed material in each of the rooms asking for courtesy to be employed up until midnight, and silence thereafter. I stress that this was not a failure on the part of management but rather the disregard of etiquette by other guests. Sadly, the walls offer no defence against noise generally and we failed to achieve a decent night's sleep during our stay.
Great staff and the place looked good also lovely hot shower. Good location and great bar for breakfast across the road.
Our kitchen was tiny and the furniture in the apartment wasn't comfortable.
Location was good, as was the WiFi, staff were very helpful.
Double bed was very hard, parking wasn't available
Everything, and the perfect tapas bar diagonally across the road.
This is a charming central spot in Jerez run by a passionate owner...and more authentic you will not find...great value too
Perfect location to explore the City.
WiFi erratic, poor in our room.
Relation of price to situation was great.Parking was very close and secure.Rooms were adequate for a few nights stay.Overall great value.
Steps to first floor very uneven.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent not far to restaurants and shops, also close to Tio Pepe if you want to tour and taste
Great location, friendly staff, good prices, clean and comfortable.
I only missed in the bathroom, more precisely in the shower, a facility to put my shampoo, shower gel and so on, maybe a kind of small basket at the wall would be great!
Location and cleanliness. Twin bedroom was fine.
Double bed was very small as was the bedroom. Too small for 2 average sized people and not very comfortable.
The apartment is very good, an outdoor very beautiful, very well air-conditioned. Also very clean and in very good condition.
I thought that the apartment should have more material support to the kitchen.
Angel was helpful and willing to assist us with car, facilities and sharing his love of city.
Location, furnishings, clean & tidy Staff very friendly and helpful
No lock on bathroom door,
I loved the old building, the courtyard, and the location. It has great charm. The staff were so helpful and pleasant. Excellent value for money.
As it's an old building, it does not have a lift, but that's understandable. Check in available only after 4, but that suited us, but maybe not others.
Its very close to main city square and all main tourist atractions on foot.
The traditional andaluces courtyard at Apartamentos Jerez was a serene delight. The apartment had amazingly high ceilings with original beams, a tiled floor and a window that looked out onto the statue of Lola Flores. Although it was 28°C outside, the apartment maintained a pleasant ambient temperature, so I didn't need to use the air conditioner. Basic cooking facilities (cooktop and microwave), a bar fridge and a washing machine were provided. The ensuite had a large walk-in shower. Only a 6 minute walk into the centre of town. There were plenty of places to eat nearby.
The late check-in of 4pm and sporadic attendance of the concierge at reception may not suit some travellers. The apartment had a somewhat unsympathetic renovation. Cosmetic things such as mould in the corner of the shower recess had not been attended to. The washing machine electrical lead and extension lead only just reached the powerpoint. A small problem that would be easily fixed by a longer extension lead.
Good position for exploring the location. Staff [including the local bar owner] very accommodating with regard to our arrival outside general hours. Very good ambience to the property, the shared terrace was a welcome escape from the bustle of the town.
Not to be recommended if mobility is a problem as stone staircases are, in keeping with the property, somewhat a worn. The road is fairly busy from early morning which may be a problem for light sleepers.
Location was great very central
Could be noisy at nights over the weekend, some bars very close. Mostly flamenco muisc drifting up though......
The hotel is in a neighborhood of apartments and small bars, so it has an authentic feel. Parking was nearby and secure. Chemy, the desk clerk, was kind and helpful.
We indicated one of us had a mobility issue, so we were assigned a room with just a few steps to reach. Then, however, we found the living room had a sharp right angle down VERY steep and narrow tile over cement steps with no handrail to the bedroom. It was extremely dangerous for any one , let alone someone with walking problems. Then it was like a basement room with cement block wall and windows at ground level. One window was right at the front entry to the hotel and atone walking by could look down into the bedroom , there was no shade for privacy into the bedroom. The bed was a thin mattress on a frame and was like sleeping on a poor pullout sofa. We wanted to like this hotel as the garden area is charming and the staff kind , but it just was not suitable for us. Note that Chemy spoke excellent English but the man who replaced him in the evening spoke no Englush and do we could not ask him anything.sorry!
Very original old place. Staff are really helpful and give all sorts of advise if needed. Situated in towncenter. Parking is available in a building next door, allthough 12 euro per night is a not cheap. Great place, we'll come again.
I loved how close you are to the centre and they shower was amazing, balcony was a nice surprise too.
I didn't like the rain.
The location, the courtyard.
The `apartment` was very small and not very well equipped for cooking. We didn`t do any. It did not resemble any of the pictures we saw on the web-site. Felt a bit conned but we made the best of things. The mezanine bedroom was interesting.
We were very happy with our stay which lived up to our expectations. The owners were helpful and friendly and were able to give us lots of advice.Knowing a good restaurant was particularly helpful.Being able to stay in a typical traditional Spanish property was what we had hoped for.
Central location. The design and layout of the building is charming.
The conversion of rooms was badly done. Windowless bedrooms and minute double bed. Shower cubicle was too small.
