Some adjustment could be made to the motion activated sensors which should light up a dark corridor leading to the rooms, but didn't seem to be working when we stayed. It made it very gloomy and difficult to find the keyhole to the door of the room.
We would have liked to have eaten in the restaurant on the evening of our stay, but it appeared to have been given over to a small local child's birthday party, with all the hubbub and accompanying noise that brings, so we felt we had no choice but to eat elsewhere.
Beautifully situated on the outskirts of Zahara de la Sierra, this small hotel has amazing views over the surrounding countryside. Bedrooms are traditionally styled and ours had a balcony where you could have a drink and take in the views. There is a small infinity pool which was closed in March when we visited, and a small bar and restaurant. Bar prices very fair for a hotel. Plenty of free car parking.
