FAQs about hotels in Seville

Hot by Day, Hotter by Night

Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to soaked up.

People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laid-back coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.

The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. At the top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.

But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.

Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

I has not shut up about how awesome Sevilla was since I came back. Orange trees and palms in February cured my seasonal depression, local architecture is simply chef's kiss, I ate jamon sandwiches every day and was the happiest gal in the whole of Andalusia. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Hotel centrally located, we visited the monuments, palace, took a boat trip, dined across town, did a tapas guided tour on the first night that allowed us to be guided around the city and showed us what and where to find good cuisine. We also learnt about Iberian jambon.

Seville is stunning but you do need a couple of days to take it all in. We just didn't have long enough. Transport is very reasonably priced. The Alacazar Palace is well worth a visit with vast, very beautiful gardens. Pre-book definitely. We took a day trip on the train to Cadiz which was just over an hour one way and well worth the bother. Seville with its orange trees everywhere was 20 degrees in January which was a lovely experience.

Seville is a wonderful city to explore and enjoy. So many interesting places to visit and culture to take in. We did 2 walking tours with Free walking tours Seville who use local people and you pay what you feel appropiate at the end book a place on line. We did the Historical and The Jewish quarter tour very good and learnt a lot. My favourite was the Palace de Duenas lovely peaceful gardens .Would not bother again with Casa de Pilatos. Cathedral and Alcazar a must. Would recommend restaurants El Pasaje and La Bartola near our hotel Alfonso Rey X. We did all sightseeing on foot from our hotel. Room cleanliness was exemplary, bed extremely comfortable, spacious room, very good wi-fi and very kindly staff. Easy to get to the old town, the hotel being next to the subway (2 stops to the centre), tram (T1) and bus stations or by walking, within no more half an hour. From the airport you can take the EA bus (20-30 min to get to the hotel). From San Bernardo train station, which is nearby to the hotel, you can take the train to go to the cities near Seville (Cordoba, Jerez de la Frontera, etc.).

The location is unbeatable—just a very short walk to the river, the cathedral, the Alcázar and other points of interest. Yet the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. And the accommodations were far and away the nicest we have found in our month of traveling in Portugal and Spain. On top of that, the staff (Nuria in particular) was remarkably helpful and welcoming. If we return to Seville, we will definitely stay at this property again.

The breakfast buffet was amazing - perhaps the best we had in this week's travel through Southern Spain. The hotel also benefits from a location very near the Plaza de Espana, but is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of central Seville which is nice. It is a business class hotel so has all the amenities you would expect. As a bonus, just outside the hotel either side are some nice neighborhood restaurants with very nice staff.

The location worked well for us--near restaurants and a taxi stand. The parking garage was conveniently located in the plaza in front of the hotel, but the parking spots were very tight. The breakfast quality and variety were good. The room was on the smaller side (as expected with most city hotels in Spain), but clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful.

The apartment was very nice and more than comfortable. The building is quiet and while it may not be in the heart of the busiest area it’s an easy walk to get there. I would not let the location deter you from considering this place. The river is very close as well as the other main sights. This was our favorite apartments out of 4 while in Spain.
