Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laid-back coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. At the top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

I has not shut up about how awesome Sevilla was since I came back. Orange trees and palms in February cured my seasonal depression, local architecture is simply chef's kiss, I ate jamon sandwiches every day and was the happiest gal in the whole of Andalusia. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Hotel centrally located, we visited the monuments, palace, took a boat trip, dined across town, did a tapas guided tour on the first night that allowed us to be guided around the city and showed us what and where to find good cuisine. We also learnt about Iberian jambon.

Seville is stunning but you do need a couple of days to take it all in. We just didn't have long enough. Transport is very reasonably priced. The Alacazar Palace is well worth a visit with vast, very beautiful gardens. Pre-book definitely. We took a day trip on the train to Cadiz which was just over an hour one way and well worth the bother. Seville with its orange trees everywhere was 20 degrees in January which was a lovely experience.

Seville is a wonderful city to explore and enjoy. So many interesting places to visit and culture to take in. We travelled by car through out Portugal and part of Spain and of all the places we stayed, Maria’s was head and shoulders above the rest. Highly recommend her beautiful abode for a very pleasant stay.

Would recommend restaurants El Pasaje and La Bartola near our hotel Alfonso Rey X. We did all sightseeing on foot from our hotel.

Beautiful city with many old buildings and streets that I always felt safe exploring. So many great tapas bars to eat and drink in. City is also fairly flat to walk around. Airport was one of the quickest I've exited through.
Room cleanliness was exemplary, bed extremely comfortable, spacious room, very good wi-fi and very kindly staff.
Easy to get to the old town, the hotel being next to the subway (2 stops to the centre), tram (T1) and bus stations or by walking, within no more half an hour. From the airport you can take the EA bus (20-30 min to get to the hotel). From San Bernardo train station, which is nearby to the hotel, you can take the train to go to the cities near Seville (Cordoba, Jerez de la Frontera, etc.).
The location is unbeatable—just a very short walk to the river, the cathedral, the Alcázar and other points of interest. Yet the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. And the accommodations were far and away the nicest we have found in our month of traveling in Portugal and Spain. On top of that, the staff (Nuria in particular) was remarkably helpful and welcoming. If we return to Seville, we will definitely stay at this property again.
The breakfast buffet was amazing - perhaps the best we had in this week's travel through Southern Spain. The hotel also benefits from a location very near the Plaza de Espana, but is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of central Seville which is nice. It is a business class hotel so has all the amenities you would expect. As a bonus, just outside the hotel either side are some nice neighborhood restaurants with very nice staff.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the room was amazing, clean , comfortable, tasteful. The location excellent, but the very best was the nice lady on the reception, she was superb. I can't remember the name now, she was just delightful. I think this is on my top ten list of all the hotels I have ever been. I want to thank Soho Boutique Seville for making such good memories for me during my time in Seville. Thank you!
The hotel is very centally situated in the Old Town of Seville. It is a grand Hotel and our room was super in more ways than one. It was clean- comfortable- had all the amenities we required to make our stay exceptional.
Also the Breakfast is exceptional.. So much good food to choose from that you are truly spoiled for choice. It was the best breakfast I had so far in all my years of travel.
Perfect location, right in the center of old town. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby, as well as a supermarket, just two minutes away.
The house is big and cosy, yet very quiet. The beds are comfortable and the a/c is working well. The owner Eva has prepared everything you need and given very detailed Information about checkin, food and activities. Our best stay in Spain.
The location worked well for us--near restaurants and a taxi stand. The parking garage was conveniently located in the plaza in front of the hotel, but the parking spots were very tight. The breakfast quality and variety were good. The room was on the smaller side (as expected with most city hotels in Spain), but clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful.
The apartment was very nice and more than comfortable. The building is quiet and while it may not be in the heart of the busiest area it’s an easy walk to get there. I would not let the location deter you from considering this place. The river is very close as well as the other main sights. This was our favorite apartments out of 4 while in Spain.
I will definitely return to this hotel. Of all the hotels we stayed at in Spain and around the world, this one is my favorite. It has a luxurious boutique hotel feel without the huge expense. The staff were fantastic. The breakfast was lovely too. They helped us find a laundry place and it worked out well.
Excellent new hotel! Large rooms. Good location approximately one kilometer from the old town of Seville. Very quiet and modern. Free cold water vending machines on all floors. Fantastic roof terrace with pool and bar. Excellent and large breakfast buffet!
The hotel was much better than the pics on Booking.com. A real taste of old world Spain. If you want white washed walls and sterile atmosphere, this is not the place for you. I lived in Spain over 50 years ago and this is the authentic Spain I loved.
We stayed at 3 different hotels over our 7 day trip throughout southern Spain and this hotel was by far the cleanest and nicest. A cold front came through so fortunately the apartment had central heating which is an uncommon commodity is Spain.
The staff checking in were so helpful, we had arrived late because of time difference between Portugal and Spain and had to leave quickly for Flamenco and she did everything possible to check us in at lightning speed. Thank you.
The room was spacious, the panoramic view was just amazing, the furniture, the bathroom and the hotel restaurant all were just gorgeous. The staff gave a special offer as it was my first visit to Spain with a free breakfast.
It is such a wonderful , quirky hotel..a series of connected houses right in the centre of old Seville. From the window you looked across the rooftops of the old town and listened to the church bells. Location is perfect.
Absolutely fabulous hotel in the centre of Old Town Seville, lovely roof terrace and the staff were friendly and really helpful with any questions. Our room was spacious and very clean
Amazing hotel in the heart of the old town of Seville! You could walk anywhere and it’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve been in! Staff is lovely too! Can’t wait to be back
