Location was great. Metro was a 2-minute walk from the apartment. Shops as well as supermarkets are found nearby. Room was very clean, modern and well equipped.

Perfectly located in the barrio of Malasana - what has been equated to "The Williamsburg of Madrid." Personally, we're both completely over Williamsburg, as it has become over gentrified and extremely expensive, but Malasana is definitely a young, fun neighborhood. Roisa is closely located to 3 different subway lines, but Madrid is fairly spread out. They just installed a new public bicycle system (no lanes yet [6/2014]), so I would go bicycle or rent a scooter. Either way...stay at Roisa!

    nothing to dislike...

It was clean and spacious.well located and we had no trouble finding our way around town which was walking distance. The operator met us and gave us all assistance that we needed and also hailed a taxi for us on the way out

Carrying luggage up and down is a problem specially after along plane trip.there were no supplies as one would expect, such a tea bags etc. we bought our own but then had to leave the remainder behind as one cannot carry these items away. Add a few euros to the rates and provide these. It will go a long way. They also provided limited toilet paper. People will not take them away , I am sure. All else was perfect. Attend to the few points above and you have a perfect appartment.

The owner was very friendly and polite. The place was clean and tidy. Wifi was good. Everything was in good working order and it is quiet neighbourhood so we slept well. Having the a.c was lovely!

    Nothing to complain about!

Stay elsewhere. Rudest staff I have come across

The staff accused us of a missing knife and charged us €5! He is utterly rude! We never stole anything! We had to catch the Ryanair flight later with all hand luggage and this does not even make sense logically!

The apartment was not only in a great location, it was cozy, comfortable, spacious, and made us feel at one with the locals. Fernando, the guy who checked us in, was very friendly, hospitable, and had great suggestions on where to go and places to eat. He also would check in on us to ensure all our needs were met! He made our stay that much more enjoyable!!!

We really didn't like that our stay in Madrid was too short as we would have enjoyed a few extra days in this location. We also did not take advantage of the full kitchen as all our meals were at restaurants but no complaints about Apartamentos Roisa!

This was far and away the best value for money hotel/pension I have ever stayed at. Extremely clean, quiet, exactly as shown in the pictures. Everything new and comfortable. Fernando is a great hotelier and accommodating in all respects.

The perfect place to stay especially if you are travelling with children. The apartment is very well-equipped and it is located a few steps from San Bernardo metro station. There are all the facilities (restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy) just on the corner. I definitely recommend Apartamentos Roisa to everyone .

There is simply nothing I can remember.

We stayed for 5 nights here. It was a great experience: location, cleanliness, and beds were clean and comfortable. Very spacious- we were two people in an apartment fit for five. Doors were secure. Fernando is very nice and attentive and will meet your requests, but he doesn't speak much English so a phrasebook is important. The windows are thick-paned so the noise from this city is not as loud if you close them. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madrid. The apartment was incredibly spacious, modern, clean, and comfortable.

The front door is extremely old and requires a bit of force ingle nod push to open. My keys did not work well the first night, so I called Fernando and he let me use another key and showed me the trick to open it. You may have to replace your own toilet paper, but I'm sure extra can be provided upon asking.
