location for the golf course
two small towels only and changed after 4days. No tea towels or any washing up clothes etc. 5 coat hangers only kettle that just about held 2 cups of water. poor kitchen utensils etc etc etc the attached hotels 3 restaurants all closed no spare pillows or blankets etc despite having a sofa bed & it was cold My wifes pyjamas taken with the laundry change and never found or returned
Proximity to airport. Nice apartments but could do with a little bit more housekeeping .
Not enough towels provided and we were only there for 4 days. Didn't see small print stating rooms cleaned once a week.
Friendly staff, clean, nice atmosphere, great looking place to stay
Far from local shops and restaurants, a car is definitely needed. Apartments didn't have basic stuff like soap or cleaning spray and no salt and pepper. However friendly staff gave us some stuff after we asked.
The apartment itself was lovely. Facilities were excellent. The pool was very clean. Staff were mostly helpful when asked, although more detailed information about the surrounding area could have been provided. There is a shopping centre perhaps a 25 minute walk away, with excellent opening hours, however we were instead directed to one an hour away. This is a major inconvenience for those without a car and one would think should be something hotel staff are very aware of, particularly for an apartment complex. The beaches are lovely, though a 35 minute walk away. This complex is quite isolated, in the middle of a rather barren looking area and on the opposite side of the town to the main tourist and english-speaking area. It's a 20 euro taxi ride from Murcia airport and a 35 minute walk to the town. Having a car would make for a very different experience. Murcia is not a bad city to visit and about an hour away by bus.The Casino building there is particularly nice. Cartagena though is closer (30 mins) and a very nice location to visit, particularly during the time of the roman festival.
The bus services within Los Alcazares were difficult to fathom at first. The local bus (there's only one) does a loop of the city. There is a stop just outside the hotel and it comes once an hour. The direction of the bus is sometimes marked in relation to nearby cities which is initially confusing. The inter-city bus services were even more difficult to figure out. They arrive regularly 30 mins+ late, the timetables are not marked on any of the bus stops (on either side of the road) and buses display most prominently where they are coming from not where they are going to. Staff in the local tourist office were helpful but even so a lot of time could be lost trying to figure out the bus services. Locals appeared just as confused at times. Most shops and services close between 2 and 4 in the town although each shop has its own hours which can be frustrating and appear unwelcoming for those not used to the custom. We were there in mid-September yet the pool of the hotel was often closed for entire days when it should have been open. At this time, the complex felt very empty. There were very few others staying, the bar was always closed etc. One would almost have the impression they were in the process of closing. Despite the excellence of the apartments, due to its location and the vagaries of the bus service, I could really only recommend this complex if you have a car.
Location of our room. Confortable bed.
Staff by the pool was rude. Our apartment was dirty (rice on the floor and dust)
We chose these apartments as we were attending a sports competition in the area. The apartments are well appointed. A lot of facilities in a compact space. Quiet except for the Saturday evening function at the Golf Club House. Washing machine and kitchen facilities very useful for our stay. Golf on the doorstep. Very large swimming pool with life guard and ample beds around the pool area although our visit not in the height of the season. Free parking in the area. Effectively air conditioned throughout the apartment. Overall an enjoyable stay.
On the outskirts of Los Alcazares. Need a car unless just there for the golf. No choice of places to eat nearby except for the Golf Club house. No food available on site. Restaurant and cafeteria closed whilst we were there early September. Swimming pool closed between 2 - 4 pm daily. This didn't affect us but may be of interest to others. No hairdryer or access to any English TV channels.
Complete kitchen facilities. Apartments quite new and clean.
Public areas not well maintained, even dirty. Poor staff, only 1 person at reception.
Daily Pool activities very loud. The place is not good for people looking for quietness. The room AC was not efficient.
Pool was lovely. Apartment very modern and well equipped.
Everything in the apartment. Pool lovely
No bar or restaurant in hotel . Pool shutting between 2 -4 pm.
Pool closed and no restaurant for breakfast
Pool was a good size Friendly staff
Pool closed from 14.00 - 16.00 No bar or cafe facilities open in main Hotel No pool towels.. No shop on the complex for basics. A car is essential
Really nice I would go back again but you need a car
Only bad thing shower part of the shower door fell off
The apartment was plenty big enough. There was a nice pool. The staff were friendly. Free wifi in public area.
The write-up says metres from the beach, it is in fact a lot more. We went for a walk one evening thinking to the beach, got to end of road ( 400 or 500 metres) and it is a military zone and bird sanctuary all fenced off. No sign of an entrance to the beach. So you definitely need a car to get to the beach. No decent signal on t.v and back missing off the remote control, so obviously not checked very well ( and day we left we opened a window and it was hanging as screw missing from hinge).
Apartments first class very clean spacious and modern with all the facilities to make your stay perfect
The fact that the pool closed from 2pm until 4 pm daily some days we didn't go there until 1pm then were told to leave at 2pm. Ok for people used to a siesta but not for holiday makers from Scotland however a minor fault.
little bit far out off town
The apartments, the wifi, the pool and the proximity to local amenities and beach
No extra 'pool' towels provided
Apartments were clean and modern. All you needed was at hand.
Silly prices for golf, went to have a couple of rounds but found the pricing policy ridiculas. Only played once. Course was empty too. Staff at hotel said as a resident we would have good discounts. Obviously staff at golf shop didn't have the same view. 90 euros for a round with buggy. Disappointed, will not return for that one reason.
Location - easy to get to.
No oven glove in the kitchen
Pool. Location Well equipped kitchen.
The view from our window!
Spacious apartment with nice furnishings. Fabulous pool with nice views onto golf resort. Reception staff were very exclellent very helpful
Bed was uncomfortable. Location was bit out of centre but knew that booking. Apartment was not cleaned not even towel or bed linen changed while we stayed there (5 nites) I think it was €50 extra for cleaning more than once a week.
Nice clean swimming pool, staff were friendly and helpful and our apartment had a good view.
very good standard
Good location, close to all tourist attractions.
Swimming pool closed - no information on the website about it.
fairly modern but a little small for 4 let alone 6. Ok if theres only 2 of you in a 6 person appartment and want to be out of town but with no amenities.
appartment too small for 4 and especially for 6, too far out of town (any town), very quiet but this meant no atmosphere. Had to wait approx 20 mins for any staff to come to reception on check in, although they knew we were waiting. Only development on a large empty block and near to a main road.
