1. Close to shopping, beach, restaurants, Mercado Central, tram, etc. 2. We had Lucentum 1B first floor apartment which was excellent size for a family of four.
1. Dishwasher did not work properly. It often tripped the main power breaker when there were too many people in the building using electricity at the same time (power overload). 2. Aircon in the double bedroom did not work during the whole stay.
Clean and well appointed apartment. Very comfortable and met all the needs of a family of 4. Location was wonderful, on a small square with several restaurants, walking distance to the main shopping and nightlife area.
Proximity to major attractions and close to some fantastic restaurants
Can be a bit noisy in front apartments during festival times but try and be part of it all - party on till early morning and sleep till midday !!!
Loved location and apartment well suited our needs. Would definitely recommend and plan to revisit
Light switches in hallway same as doorbells which led to confusion
The apartemt is really well located. Is new, clean and has laundry and dish washers.
The apartment is very expensive for not having almost any additional services. There is in Alicante really good hotels with better services and lower prices. The apartment is not cleaned during the stay. The smell to cigarette smoke was really intense in all the apartment. The bedroom is next to an extraction system from other building thus is difficult to sleep with that noise. The internet has only worked properly in the kitchen. I would pay the half for this apartment. I recommend for this price to book a hotel room when you are going to have guide, cleaning, food services.
Simply fantastic: Everything was fantastic. Close to the beach close to the resteraunts. Very quiet at night. Car park was very close. Internet was great.
We had the top floor apartment overlooking the square. Great location and we will be back . Staff at Tito tapas were so helpful and food was great.
A sign in English telling you how the lights on the stairs stayed on. Took us a few days to realise how they worked so it was a bit frightening coming down the stairs.
excellent location, near the marina and the main old area of Alicante. We were lucky that a medieval fair started the day we reached and the atmosphere was amazing.
Single bathroom for two bedrooms was a big minus.
location was perfect, very clean and modern. Staff were lovely and very helpful.
lift was quite small for our buggy so we had to keep folding up and down and lifting in and out. Townhall bells go every 15 minutes but you get used to them.
Close to the beach, beautiful apartments. Nice staff and a great restaurant down stairs at Tito.
Dishwasher machine not working.
Location was perfect. Nice and clean appartment.
Wonderful modern apartment with two big bedrooms, all kitchen and washing facilities, big TV and DVD player, excellent wifi - all right in the centre of old town. We had a balcony overlooking the main town square and just 5mins to beach and marina. Perfect location - and luxury.
Being on the town square meant there was a buzz of noise in the evening and night. But outweighed for me by the atmosphere seeing life coming and going through the square.
Great location and very spacious apartment. Friendly and helpful staff and a really good tapas bar on the ground floor
If you stay on a Friday or Saturday night it can be a little noisy until the early hours (>3am). The bed and pillows were quite hard but if that's what your used to it won't be a problem!
The apartment was spacious, clean and modern. Security was also excellent. The location is superb. The restaurant below (same owners) also serves great tapas which is an added bonus.
The only slight negative is that there can be a bit of noise from the square, although we looked upon this as a positive, contributing to the great atmosphere.
Location was perfect - easy to get to the beach, restaurants, tram and bus stops. Staff in Tito were very helpful - provided second set of keys so our teenage sons could go off on their own Brilliant location for awkward teenagers who want some independence - and very safe - lots of people out late. Not sure what legal age for buying alcohol is in Spain but our sons were not questioned or asked for ID. That made nice change from weatherspoons here. Wi fi worked brilliantly with all 4 of us using it frequently. Roof terrace was fantastic as it was really hot 26 degrees - lovely and peaceful for a spot of revision or sun bathing. Hardly heard any English - lots of different languages. Took tram to Benidorm for day as my son wanted to see a bit more action. He was very disappointed as Benidorm was absolutely full of very very fit elderly enjoying their retirement. Took bus to El Capella - lovely day out. Went up to Santa Barbara castle - brilliant - my sons favourite day. I would say Alicante is most definitely worth a visit - there were still things we would have liked to do but could not fit in. Very helpful website showed us exactly where to get c6 bus from airport to alicante center. About 3 euros one way. Goes every 20 minutes. No English TV but no one missed that as we were out every evening. No oven and I certainly did not miss that - just had to eat out. There was a kettle, toaster, iron, hair dryer, dishwasher, washing machine.
We stayed in Matt - superior 2 bed on second floor - it only had one 2 seater sofa for 4 of us - there was space for another ? Why not provide it. I had read reviews about noise on fri and sat night and it was very noisy- up until about 2am - but it was also lovely to lie in bed listening to the various languages from cafés in plaza. The other nights were no problem.
Staff, location, excellent food at the adjoining Tito Tapas bar
Noisy at the weekend but ok mid week.
Good location in the heart of the old town and near the beach and city center. Cozy apartment with all needed accessories.
Quite noisy during the weekend since there are so many bars nearby and people are drinking. There could be more litterbags and toilet paper in the apartment for a one week stay.
right in the center walk to the beach on car-free square roof terrace
some noice at night in one room
Fantastic location, apartment was fully equipped , very new and clean, great value for money. Fantastic roof terrace, very helpful friendly staff. I would recommend .
Everything was great
Location. Modern apartment. Wi-Fi.
Needs another armchair. Not enough comfortable seating for 4 people. Nothing to do with the apartment but extremely noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. Groups of young people walking through square at 2.00/3.00 a.m. shouting and laughing. Woke us up frequently. Nice and quiet on weekday nights.
Very central near trams, beaches, and good nights out
Position in the old town was great. Very near to shops, bars restaurants. Apartment facilities very good. Towels, soap, hair dryer.
The apartments were above a tapas bar and at the weekend it's inevitably noisy as people leave the bars very late. Saturday night we were woken at 2am and then at 4 am when they went home!
Excellent location (downtown, close to everything), quality and cleanliness of a well-equipped apartment, great customer service of Jose Luis (apartments' manager), option to park the car at a very closeby shared parking for 14 euros per day. We would totally recommend Apartamentos Tito and would stay there again, without any doubt. Thank you!
Hot water didnt seem to be enough for the 3 that were staying in the apartment. We didnt get to complain because we were staying for only a weekend. Otherwise, I am sure they would have given us a solution.
The apartment was impeccably clean and very comfortable. Much better than we expected really. The location was amazing and the staff we met very kind and willing to offer any kind of help if we needed. The restaurant downstairs was really good and we could find nothing negative about our stay there. Totally worth every penny and we will definitely stay there again when visiting Alicante.
Location was excellent and everything was close by. Example old town and restaurants. Santa Barbara fortress and the town hall. Taxis were close by just behind the town hall. Free Wifi worked well, something from tv for kids. The roof top balcony was great pace to relax, even if it was a bit windy as it has good walls to protect from it.
Sound proofed room is a bit overstated and you can hear things quite well from outside. This was known issue as other reviews indicated it to be an issue this was applicable only from thursday to saturday. Although there is no proper sound proofing from other rooms either. 2nd floor leuka room had living room issue with aircon device making sound when starting, so disabled it for the night. Beds were a bit hard as often in Spain, so if you prefer soft bed you might look another alternatives. More positive than negative though.
