Very helpful staff and provision of basic food hamper was welcomed
The location and view from our room was second to none. Very nice how they combined the old wall into the new hotel. Staff was very helpful.
Very hard to find this hotel. Park well away from the old area of Granada and take a taxi in to the hotel. The shared patio was in another building altogether - not convenient but very nice patio.
terrace - terrace - terrance, what a find - the rooms were excellent
the noise from other appartments seems like they missed out on sound proofing during the renovation
Twin room was stunning with huge clean bathroom, full facilities for cooking etc, lounge area. Ana was wonderful, giving help for restaurants and bars, some with discount. I'd definitel consider this place again
Little option for breakfast although snacks were provided free of charge. Located up quite a steep hill that was very difficult for taxis to access, so maybe worth avoiding for the least agile.
Stayed here with my girlfriend in early October and was extremely impressed. They overbooked us for our initial reservation (that we made the night before) and took it upon themselves to rebook us in an equally great room. The accommodations are spacious and clean with everything you need, especially for the money. The rooftop patio is beyond gorgeous and all the amenities are top notch. Now all the aside, I have to get to the good stuff. The location. My god. When you walk up the stairs that lead to the hotel check in and you turn around, you're greeted by the most stunning view of the Alhambra that we saw in all of Granada. It's worth the price alone. When you see it at night from the terrace then you'll know what I mean. Can't stress this enough. In case you can't tell, I recommend staying here...highly. Staff are also extremely helpful. A can't miss spot.
Only got to stay here 2 nights.
Fantastic location for views to the Alhambra and also a walking trail up the back which makes it easier to access to Alhambra. Great experience staying in the Old town.
The beautiful roof terrace with spectacular Alhambra views. Nice courtyard style building built around remains of cool old city walls. Great location, the use of the owners pool was lovely and in a gorgeous setting. Super helpful staff, value for money, and a laid back vibe.
Walking from the station showed up our satnavs sadist tendencies - granada is HILLY! There is some noise from other rooms- doors closing etc. and the bedroom area of the apartment was a bit on the small side in comparison to the living room side. These aren't huge issues and didn't detract from a wonderful stay.
The stuff is very helpful, very good in english, helped us to plan the trip the next day and booked the taxi for us. The apartment is very nice and have a great view on Alhambra in the roof-top
We absolutely LOVED this place! From our first step into Apartamentos Turisticos Alhambra with it's incredible location and construction around the 11th century wall and tower to it's rooftop terraces's unobstructed view of the Alhambra it was awesome! It was clean, spacious, comfortable and so accommodating. The staff was friendly and helpful and speaking English was no problem for them. We felt extremely lucky to have booked this apartment for such a reasonable price with such an incredible view! I want to go back!
Not one thing!
good location, in Alybazin area. Close to couple of Morrocan restaurants and Hammams. helpful staff Ana, helped me to book Arabic bath, taxi, and tell me the route and tips to the sights. Nice and clean room, with cookware, Arabic style bed, wooded interior, and some self catering things like muffin and bread. Astonishing view directly to Alhambra on the roof.
Nothing to blame about this hotel, I wish I could spend one more day here.
Interesting location in the heart of the Arab quarter with fantastic views of the Alhambra. Very helpful and informative staff. It was nice to be able to use the adjoining pool and garden. Sitting on the rooftop terrace in the evening watching the lights come on at the Palace is a fantastic memory.
While the building is beautiful and makes the most of its history (exposed ancient walls, etc. in communal areas), there can be sleep disturbance via the plumbing if you have early rising neighbours. This is only a minor issue however.
Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Finding the parking was not simple, even with the directions from the hotel.
Helpful staff who gave useful advice when I booked and took time to identify places to see on map. Best advice -when lost in Albaycin head down and towards Alhambra.
Guests upstairs showering after midnight. Can hear every bathroom visit in room underneath
Great views of the Alhambra from our room. Superb panorama from the roof terrace. Very nice, large room with a neat screen to separate the bedroom.
The host, Ana, was fantastic with local advice and also booked us bus and train travel, nothing was too much trouble, an unforgettable experience. Beautiful views of the Alhambra from our apartment. Apartment has everything you need.
The view is excellent.
Pool and gardens are a bit tired and need a spruce up
We stayed in the 1-bed with two terraces--absolutely amazing views of the Alhambra from one terrace and the Albaycin rooftops on the other! Very well equipped and made our Granada stay something very special that we will remember forever! Great location right next to the river !! Highly recommended!
The views, the terrace and gardens. The compactness of the apartment with everything you could need
The walls were thin and so it was quite noisy at night. The pool needed cleaning
Excellent hotel in all aspects
Amazing Alhambra views Fab location in Albaicin Use of a lovely swimming pool Quaint charm of the architecture Brilliant staff service Cosy rooms
Taxis don't always drop you at the hotel as they think the surrounding streets are too narrow
Stayed two nights here and thought accommodation was lovely. Ana kindly booked us a cab from airport and spoke perfect English. Great flamenco show at Chien Andalou. Use of owners pool was very welcome in the heat. Fab views of Alhambra from terrace esp at night with glass of wine from minibar.
Bars on windows.
Rooftop balcony with fantastic views Great location
In an attractive part of town
We were charged on our credit card twice in advance for our booking with an interval of 2 months in between. I noticed about 4 months later just before our visit. We were refunded but I was v unhappy this could have happened and the hotel did not appreciate we were still out of pocket on the exchange and commissions, nor did they care. We were lodged in an appartment supposedly a short distance away but it was down a lot of steps. We are of a certain age and this was v inconvenient and tiring in the heat with our luggage. Equally we had to walk quite a distance to get to the pool. We would not have booked this hotel had we known the disadvantages.
View. Location. Staff.
Reception required you to look up and over your shoulder. Google maps will get you to the spot, but you have to you use your 'old' travelling skills to find it. Its not hard but requires common sense.
Really liked the location, the staff, the facilities, the surroundings.
There was nothing not to like.
