We stayed in the 1-bed with two terraces--absolutely amazing views of the Alhambra from one terrace and the Albaycin rooftops on the other! Very well equipped and made our Granada stay something very special that we will remember forever! Great location right next to the river !! Highly recommended!
The views, the terrace and gardens. The compactness of the apartment with everything you could need
The walls were thin and so it was quite noisy at night. The pool needed cleaning
Excellent hotel in all aspects
Amazing Alhambra views Fab location in Albaicin Use of a lovely swimming pool Quaint charm of the architecture Brilliant staff service Cosy rooms
Taxis don't always drop you at the hotel as they think the surrounding streets are too narrow
Stayed two nights here and thought accommodation was lovely. Ana kindly booked us a cab from airport and spoke perfect English. Great flamenco show at Chien Andalou. Use of owners pool was very welcome in the heat. Fab views of Alhambra from terrace esp at night with glass of wine from minibar.
Bars on windows.
Rooftop balcony with fantastic views Great location
In an attractive part of town
We were charged on our credit card twice in advance for our booking with an interval of 2 months in between. I noticed about 4 months later just before our visit. We were refunded but I was v unhappy this could have happened and the hotel did not appreciate we were still out of pocket on the exchange and commissions, nor did they care. We were lodged in an appartment supposedly a short distance away but it was down a lot of steps. We are of a certain age and this was v inconvenient and tiring in the heat with our luggage. Equally we had to walk quite a distance to get to the pool. We would not have booked this hotel had we known the disadvantages.
View. Location. Staff.
Reception required you to look up and over your shoulder. Google maps will get you to the spot, but you have to you use your 'old' travelling skills to find it. Its not hard but requires common sense.
Really liked the location, the staff, the facilities, the surroundings.
There was nothing not to like.
Position Views from the room and patio Access to pool in residential area Use of historical remains in building of apartment
Access, but that comes with its close proximity to the Alhambra
The staff were so friendly and helped us plan a magical trip for both my Birthday and engagement! The apartments are perfect and the views incredible.
Everything was what we expected and more. Anas was very helpful and informative of local attractions. Would definitely recommend!!!
Reception staff are usually polite & knowledgeable of local area, I have not come across any before with whom one can also converse about deeper issues. Both receptionists provided an uplifting start to the day. Wonderful
Very helpful and friendly staff, clean and cosy apartment, excellent view of Alhambra from roof terrace and walking distance from the centre of town.
the location was good with great views and easy walks to everywhere. the apartment came with a nespresso machine and bottles of wine and soft drinks which was great.
I thought we were booking in the main hotel as per the photos, we were in actual fact away from the main building and the pool. Having said that we were in an apartment building right under the alhambra so amazing views and a good apartment
Stunning apartment and building, great area and wonderfully helpful host, would love to go back
Location. View to die for. Friendly, helpful staff. Historic building, nicely converted. Well equipped, comfortable, stylish rooms. Pool available.
Nothing, it was exactly as described and just what we wanted.
Close to Alhambra, nice swimming pool.
Had to park your car a few miles away, then take a cab (6 euro each way) to a nearby street, then walk up steep hill a few blocks away (taxis won't drive there, streets are too narrow). The extra taxis cost $30 euros in total, and the parking for two days cost 45 euros. We were supposed to have breakfast for two people, two mornings, and were given crackers, and three tiny muffins, one of which was already cut open. When we arrived the bed was made but the sheets were not changed from clients before us (soiled and hairs left on sheet). The coffee machine was broken, dishes on the shelves were dirty, there was no dish soap, and no plates. number at the There was no one at reception when we arrived, even though we checked in early evening during their check in hours. The phone number on reservation was no longer in service, and we had to get help through booking.com. Oh yes, and the receptionist was rude to us when we reported the coffee pot was broken, and also when we apparently did not check out properly even though no one instructed us otherwise. For 100 euros a night, we suggest you find a nicer place without all these hassles. Worst service and value for my money, ever.
The Hotel itself, the apartment, the location and the people.
The office manager was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, and the view of the Alhambra from our apartment window was an added bonus. We would recommend this accommodation.
The setting is perfect and the apartments well equipped. The friendly manager went beyond the expected to help us during our stay. The view from the terrace is to die for and the use of the pool in a lovely terrace setting was most welcome.
There were so many things: I should start with a lovely atmosphere when I first walked in the place. Although it is an apartment, there is a reception desk and I would have had a much more difficult time without their help. Whoever was on duty they went far beyond my expectatons to help me with "finding places, making reservations, sorting things" , because I do not speak a word of Spanish and you do not get far with English in this part of the world. Then there was the apartment itself, small but perfectly formed with a generous supply of little goodies in the kitchen. The water pressure is excellent. Talking about water, there is a beautiful pool in a garden setting next door, perfect for relaxation. And then there is the roof terrace, unbelievable fantastic view of the Alhambra. The perfect location in the most picturess part of Granada let you forget that you have to find a "small taxi" able to navigate the narrow streets to the apartment. I extented my stay by a few days and was upgrated to a bigger apartment. I highly recommend the property!!
There is nothing I did not like. The narrow streets make the character and charme of the area, so there is no point in complaining that you cannot drive to the place and it is difficult to find a taxi willing to take you there.
The available self serve laundry room was great. We could use estimate times for the wash cycle and dryer cycle and empty basket in case some one leave their laundry in the machine for too long. Anes at reception was absolutely wonderful. We had a problem with the next hotel in Seville, and called to help us solve the problem. Our very honest taxi driver, Jose was also great! Our flight was delayed, and he waited and help us get inside the hotel when we came after reception hour. Thank you from R.I., USA
No elevator, so it was a little inconvenient to bring up our luggage to the third floor.
The view from the apartment was magic , apartment was clean and well equipped
The description said with shared terrace, we were told on arrival that it could only be used during the day, not in the evening when we would have loved to have to have sat there. The apartment was fine for two, but would have been cramped with four people
The view of the Alhambra from the window of our apartment was extraordinary and we enjoyed living in this historic district, within walking distance of nearly everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment is well-equipped and we appreciated the coffee maker and beverages provided. We liked having a washer and drier on the floor. Most of all, we liked the staff at reception, especially Anas, for their warm and helpful hospitality.
