Apartamentos Playa Club  

Fantastic location, very clean spcious apt, cleaning staff excellent and very smiley and the Wellness Centre was the 'icing on the cake' for the holiday. We will deffinately recommend the Apartmentos Playa Club and will return as soon as we can.

Pool and gardens were very good size and well kept.Apartment size was very good and very central location.

Superior apartments in excellent condition, good location across from beach and promenade, Aquarsis Wellness Centre Thermal Circuit just €7 for guests and was unbelievable - jets of powerful massaging water, hot and cold as you work your way through the various stages, and this was without booking a special treatment which we didnt book in time and was quite reasonable. Excellent option at end of day to really refresh or if you had a cloudy morning. Supermarket underneath has all the basics, plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs around. Probably most relaxing holiday we've had in Lanzarote although there 6 times.

Like to eat in old town so bit of a walk if you are not into fitness or dont want to get taxis - but we were tryin to keep some of the weight off so it helped! In our mid-forties and apart from a few young families we probably brought the average age down by 25 years but that was the case throughout the resort - great place to chilll with excellent facilities but not for young wild things!

All the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating and I was pleasantly surprised that the cleaners came in every day. We had a 2 bed apartment which was lovely and big and plenty of towels/toilet rolls etc.On the last day we had to check out at 12 but were not leaving 'til 5pm and although we could not retain our room as it was a 2 bed were given a room to use for the day at no extra charge, which was greatly appreciated.

One thing was the beds were very hard and there were very few sockets in the apartment, only 1 to share between the kettle and the toaster and again only one in the bedrooms. Finally, while we were there an apartment 2 doors away and upstairs was being renovated and builders were in for our last three days, sawing, drilling and hammering - it was very noisy from 9:30am until 5pm we could not stand the noise and had to leave our apartment and the solarium on these days and this was disruptive to our holiday as we used to sunbathe in the solarium - I think this work should have been carried out during the low season.

The proximity to the beach and the overall look and feel of the complex.

The one thing that I did not like was how far we had to go to get to apartment which was on the far side of the complex and was quite noisy as I think that there was maybe an area behind our apartment where all cleaning equipment was and it was very noisy when staff arrived anytime after 7.30.

We stayed 10 nights and used the Wellness centre three times this was in with the price great

I liked that you are only a few minutes walk to the beach and the strip , casino is also across the road !!!!

The pool was freezing but then again it was Jan ! most of the big shops are a 20 min walk .

We had a really great time in Apartamentos Playa Club. The location is perfect, close to the private beach, a lots of suivenior shops, restaurants, convinience stores etc. The spa which is belonging to the aparamentos was nice too. They charge us 7 euro per person and my children (12 and 13 years of age) enjoyed it as well. We would love to stay there again.

One thing... This is quite important, I suppose. The beds were small. It was okay for me and children but it was too small for my husband (186cm height). Also, the matless was soft. Maybe hard matless is not common there.

How close it was to the beach. I also enjoyed having a fitness and spa facility at the hotel. The staff were willing to answer any questions. I would also like to mention I did a yoga class and a one to one with laura and she was amazing and taught me a lot and would highly recommend people do her yoga class.

The location is great! Right beside the beach in new town and the spa is lovely too. Great for couples and families!!
