Very clean, great location: beach, shops, night life all walking distance, very cheap too!

Liked the spa facilities, and the quiet to sllep at night.

Small pool area. No late check out as our flight was not till 7.30pm.

The location of the appartments was excellent, close to restaurants, supermarket, shops and the beach! It was very clean and the staff were always available, helpful and very friendly! We received at arrival ingredients to cook breakfast which lasted us nearly a week.

The decor of the appartment is a little tired and could do with updating. This is being very very critical though!!!

Location is perfect. Staff very friendly. Upgraded on arrival. Would recommend and definately stay there again The hotel spa facility us excellent and amazing value for money.

we really enjoyed our stay at the Playa Club. Location wise it is perfect. It is in the new town area of Puerto del Carmen. It was lovely and quiet during our stay (last week of March) We opted for the Spa Access package when we booked. this was lovely to have the choice to go in for a sauna etc if you got tired of the sunbathing. We also received a welcome pack in the apartment which included eggs,butter, milk,bread, orange juice, cheese,ham,biscuits and water. which was great idea. Our apartment was spotless and cleaned on a daily basis (except one day) even when we said it was ok to not clean it one day they still insisted on leaving us fresh towels and rubbish bags. We did not eat at the Playa Club so can not comment on the food. There are plenty of supermarkets in the area. You have to pay for the remote control, which you need to get if you want to change channels on the tv. Not great for english channels. We also paid €10 for wifi for the week. which wasnt bad, connection could be slow at times, we found it worked better on the balcony than in the apartment. Really nice Indian/Italian/Pizzas etc restaurant just up from the Playa Club (when you come out to the main strip turn left and it is just up the street a little bit. Cant remember the name. But definitely worth a visit. Also a lovely restaurant in the old town. it is Irish/Polish and the food was really good.

only a little issue.. the sun beds were so uncomfortable. i had seen this on other peoples reviews and thought they were just fussy. easy way to solve this is to buy a li-lo to put on the sunbed. i paid €4.95 for one, it lasted the whole week and was perfect.

My partner and I are just back from 6 (4 full) days at Playa Club, our first time in Lanzarote. We would certainly go back again. Playa Club is less than 15 minutes from the airport. Puerto del Carmen is certainly an active resort. Jose at reception was very helpful throughout our stay. We upgraded to a Superior apartment and it suited us. We were in a pool side apartment 163 - the sun was on our terrace in the afternoon which was just what we wanted. The apartment had a microwave, fridge freezer, toaster and a two burner hob. The crockery and cutlery was for 3 people. The bedroom (two single beds which seems to be the norm) had a fitted wardrobe in which there were four drawers plus a safe. You have to pay a small fee for the safe plus a refundable deposit of EUR 10 for the key. We had a problem in getting the safe to work but within 10minutes of reporting this, a maintenance man visited and when he could not get things working, he came back a few minutes later and fitted a replacement safe ! The sitting room/kichenette was generally fine for our needs. As reported by other visitors, the apartment and site was regularly cleaned - our apartment was cleaned with fresh towels on all bar one day. We had decided to have breakfast and lunch at the apartment on a self catering basis - this was okay although, it would have been beneficial if we had taken our own can opener and bottle opener as those provided were not ideal in our opinion. Not sure whether in the high season, Playa Club provide any mattresses or similar on the sun beds - there were none in evidence during our stay - so the local shops clearly did a good trade in lilos and similar items to provide additional comfort for those spending time around the good size pool. If you are looking for a beach with sunshades and comfortable sunbeds then you need to walk about 10 minutes from the complex.

One "criticism" is that there was no airconditioning in our apartment. This was not a factor during our stay in March but would certainly be something which would probably deter us from visiting during the summer.

I've been to Lanzorote 3 times by fair these were the best apartments we stayed in! Staff cleaned room everyday. The complex was so quiet, the welcome pack was very good you receive when you arrive. We had the 7 day pass for spa which was great in the evening time to relax. Will definitely return!!
