Acacia Suite  

Great positioning if you want to stay away from the crowded/turistic areas. On the Metro L5 line which is 2 stations away from the center, 4 from Sagrada Familia and probably 5 from Camp Nou. With one single change you can get to anywhere quickly. Staff was very helpfull and did everything they could to ensure we had a pleasant stay and the rooms were cleaned and rearanged daily and you were feeling like home. I really recommend this place for people that want a relaxed vacation in a tipical catalan neighbourhood.

Location - close to the metro, markets, and restaurants. Very helpful and conversant staff (Catalan, Eng & Esp). Rooms were well maintained. Cable TV channels had at least 5 different languages. District pleasant and safe!

Plumbing noise - water in pipes from the rooms above could be heard through the walls.

Location was very convenient for seeing the major sites in Barcelona city.

It is à very comfortabel place. Nice bathroom, very good bed and à practicaly kitchenette.

Las habitaciones son muy comodas y espaciosas, la limpieza del hotel es impecable, el personal es muy atento y te explican muy bien cualquier duda que puedas tener, indiscutiblemente lo recomiendo!!!

La relacion precio-calidad, me ha parecido un poco costoso ya que si tienes ninos mayores de 8 anos te cobran un recargo de 30 Euros, lo cual me parece un poco exajerado. sin embargo los precios de los hoteles en Barcelona son elevados con respecto a otros destinos.

Very good location. Just few walking steps from the blue l5 line metro stop. Accessibility to many shops and good resturants. Value for money spent. Ideal for a couple or family with a young kid. The hotel does not say thay have any conceirge services but they provide excellent tips on moving around the city and help on all questions

No great views from the room. The windows were always locked. The bathroom and toilet was well furnished but not having a lock from inside which i am not sure if it was intentional.

excellent hotel.. v friendly staff.. and has all the facility that you will need for holiday stay.... specially with kids they even put extra like coffee machine ,iron etc if requested.... overall great value for money and v comfortable

The hotel was located in the city centre.

The property was old, and our 5 person room was a double bed and 2 sofa beds. The room was old and not very spacious.

The apartment have all you needed to have. And if you need more (like microwave, toaster, ironing table etc. they bring it to you. They even put a small gift for our daughter, very small but thoughtfull. We had a small kitchenette and cooked our own meals when we wanted, but other times there are more than a couple of restaurants/ pizzerias/ cafees/ markets around and you can order to your room both from room service and from outside shops. The hotel stuff knew english and helped us with everything. Especially but not only Gustav was a very helpfull receptionist, he called different pizza stores and found out which on their menu is a vegetarian and ordered for us since we did not speak spanish. They printed out whatever tickets etc. I need, they even found me the two closest Orange Mobile shops on my request, and another one searched for MediaMarkt stores around dowtown. Cleaning was perfect and the they were friendly. Wifi was perfect, I was shocked to see even my IPhone had full reception. Although it may be partly because the router is on the roof and we stayed on 6th floor but I was able to use it on the elevator and out of the hotel door. Sure it was not cheap, but nothing on Barcelona (esp. Hotels) was so. But at least this hotel gave me what I payed for.

The bed did not seem as strong and made a little noise but after all those above, hell I would have slept on a sofa-bed happily. (Actually I had slept on the sofa bed one night when our daughter insisted on sleeping with her mother and it was not uncomfortable).

Great location in the Eixample district, close to many restaurants, bars and the tourist attractions. It was also right next to a metro station which made getting around very easy. It was also only a few blocks from where the airport bus drops you off. The staff were very friendly and the room was basic but comfortable. It was great value for money considering how central it was. There was very good free wi-fi and even had a small kitchen (although we did not use it).

It is very well located. We walked to the Ramblas and it was a great walk. The staff is very friendly. Small but has everything you need.

It was a bit noisy. We could hear eeryone on the wall and in the rooms next door. The parking is very small on site. For larger cars they have another parking a couple of blocks away. No breakfast included. Awful sofa bed. Room a little dated.

More spacious than a normal hotel room, with adequate facilities to have snack or breakfast at a time suitable to us. The location was quieter than La Rambla and a reasonable base to explore the Barcelona area, although often needing 3 or 4 tube stops to reach the tourist areas.

I loved this hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable. I had stayed in 5* Melia Barcelona before mooving to Acacia and can say that I liked the last one more. Many thanks for everything. I'll definitely choose the Acacia Suite next time.

Friendly staff that went out of their way to help. Good location close to Metro with lots of restaurants nearby. Quiet at night as it is not right in the centre of town.

The family room was pretty cosy for 5 people and the kitchenette was minimal.

The hotel personel are very friendly. The rooms are realy huge and very clean. Luxury bathroom. Its very nice to chill out in the room after a long day. The metro "hospital clinic" is like 2 seconds away...so its very easy to travel around.

Sometimes we woke up by the very noisy flushing toilets of the neighbours middle in the night. Same for the "doorbell" in the rooms.

Staff was very cordial. Room was immaculately clean. Bathroom was spacious and built to high standards and the shower was very powerful. Air-conditioning, which is key to combat heat in Barcelona, was excellent. Window insulation was very good and there was hardly any noise coming from the street. Beds were very comfortable. Metro station couldn't be any nearer - just a minute walk or so. Overall, an excellent place to stay specially with a family.

Perhaps the suite could be slightly bigger but even this size was good enough.

Great staff, so helpful and kind. Placed just 50m from metro station. Great restaurant both sides from hotel. Rooms spacious and clean. Kids 5y + 9y + 12y loved staying there, short walking distance from metro. Will stay there again.

The staff was extremely polite and helped us find another hotel.

We did not stay in this hotel because the bedrooms have no light in the ceiling! There are only a few dim lights from lampshades. Other than that, everything seemed clean and comfortable. But we need a well lit bedroom.
