The apartment was very comfortable, with a nice kitchen and bathroom. It was clean and sleep quality was very good.
Perhaps better pillows would be good. Nothing big to complain about.
We spent a total of three weeks touring Spain by train. Capitolina was a delightful place to stop. All the historical sites were within a short walk (maximum 20 minutes for the further flung sites). Having our own kitchen was great because we could never adjust to the late, late dinner hours.
Wifi coverage was spotty and often dropped off completely on our corner of the hotel. When we could connect, speed was rather low.
Terrific location, friendly helpful staff, good dining facilities, the convenience of our own little apartment at a very reasonable rate.
A king size bed would have been better, but we wouldn't complain!
Excellent position just off the main square. The rooms were perfect for the four of us. Two good sized bedrooms and a living room with two sofas combined with a kitchen/ dining area. We didn't expect the roof terrace with a great view of the Moorish fort and the Roman bridge. Neither did we expect the breakfast in the fridge......we had actually brought all our own. The glass bottles of water were also much appreciated. The restaurant downstairs was very good but quite expensive.
In one of the rooms it was a little noisy on Friday night but it didn't really bother us. Oh ....and the main entrance door downstairs was difficult to open from the inside but a very nice member of staff was quickly on hand to show me how.
Near the Roman bridge and Alcazaba; reasonable walk to other sites of interest. Staff friendly and helpful but not on site mornings ("reception" restaurant staff). Nice furnishings and fittings.
Very noisy due to motorbike riders revving their bikes late at night and next door neighbours arriving back at 3 am
Only glitch was the fact that the bedroom configuration was such that one of the guests had to go through another bedroom to access the bathroom. This should be mentioned in the description.
Parking is 15 euro per day but you can park on the street.
Facilities Service Location
Fantastic location, wonderful apartment, superb restaurant and very pleasant staff
No parking particularly close
The location is excellent, in the centre of the town within an easy walk to the Roman bridge, ruins, restaurants. Great value for money 2-bedroom apartment. Clean and generally well-equipped, large enough for four people (2 couples). Friendly and helpful staff.
Parking is only available in nearby parking station (15 euro/day); about a 10 minute walk away. (street parking very limited) The breakfast included in the price consists of a loaf of bread, bottles of milk and juice, some butter and jam. Also some coffee and a drip machine. About typical for a "tostados" breakfast, but a bit underwhelming.
Plenty of space
The breakfast - no tea, no juice, no fresh fruit, no fresh bread.
We were a group of 7 people so we asked to stay in a apartment for 6 people and an extra bed. It was all comfortable, the apartment is big and the rooms also. The only issue is to have only one bathroom for 7 people and the access to the 3rd bedroom is through a bedroom. Besides all these issues we end up managing well our time, due to our very short stay (only one night). The apartment was cleaned, beds are comfortable, free Wifi. The Hotel is right next to the main square of Merida.
There is no existing breakfast service. The Hotel leaves some basic dairy products in the apartment before your arrival. Like milk, a package of white bread, cereals, waters and juices. No fruit, eggs, ham, cheese, wholegrain bread, etc The Hotel doesn't have parking. There is a lot of space to park nearby, but we decided to leave the car in a near parking for 15€/day.
Spacious, breakfast food & drink supplied in room. Near Roman bridge.
The horrendous colour scheme. Why not paint the walls white instead of orange and green?
Friendly and helpful staff; spacious and comfortable apartment; supplied breakfast very good; great location; restaurant excellent. Very good value.
Great quiet location , clean and private. Restaurant downstairs, excellent food !
A superb self contained apartment close to the town Center The staff were friendly, helpful and engaging.
Remote car parking at 12euros per day.
Excellent staff. Room was very clean, with lots of room for a family of 5. Great location although parking could be an issue at times.
Very spacious well appointed apartment nice staff
The apartment was excellent, roomy, bright and spacious, the bathroom is fabulous. Everything you need in kitchen equipment is available. We have family in Merida so we will be staying in these apartments every time we go to visit them.
Breakfast is left in your apartment. My negative is that there were only childrens cereals provided as a breakfast cereal, 2 individual mini boxes (chocolate cereal). We are 2 adults. There was only bread left to eat, which was disappointing.
Quietness & location.
2 bedroom app't with 1 locked. The open room was so small I would have to climb over my wife to get in & out of bed. The 2nd room was opened for us which was good. The included breakfast was merely Coco pops juice milk & toast, not as expected but OK for the price. Shower head was cylindrical & smooth, difficult to hold.
What isn't there to like. The location is great, the apartments are big, clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for young children.
Great aparthotel. We were traveling with a 10 years old girl and instead of an extra bed we got an extra room. They also brought us extra breakfast apart from what we already had in the fridge. Great location too. Would defo go back.
First, nobody was there for check-out, then somebody came and we were able to settle the bill. Yesterday the hotel sent me an email saying that our bill is still open. I think they have a total chaos in their administration. Not very pleasant.
Location is excellent. Having two rooms is nice.
The timing of when you can check in and check out is restrictive. We wanted to leave early in the morning and had to wait to leave because there was no one there AND we did not have a place to leave the key AND still lock the front door of the Hotel. Also, the breakfast (in room) materials were skimpy. One box of corn flakes and one box of CoCo puffs and some WHITE bread with jam...is not a breakfast! There were no bowls...so eating cereal out of a small cup is limiting. How about some granola or something more hardy?
