Aparthotel Ciutat de Palol    

The swimming pool complex was very nice.

The beds were very hard and there was only one pillow per bed - consequently did not have good night sleep!

The Pool was fantastic The eating facilities were excellent The location was beatiful and the staff very helpful and friendly

Our air conditioning was not working but the rest made up for it!

Hotel:Very nice location near a beautiful beach. Good walking possibilities at the cliffs. Spacious and very clean flat with a nice view.

Platja de Aro: Could have been a better bus connection to town centre from the hotel. Bus connections going north and south along the coast were scarce/non-existing from town..Would recommend the hotel, but not the town Platja de Aro.. Flat: We missed a water kettle and a toaster in the flat!

The hotel had nice clean apartments. It was located very close to the sea and the best beaches. It had a really nice pool area with both childrens pool and a spa pool. When it's not at the end of the season like when we were there the hotel offers massage bookings. They rented out bikes at the hotel (no helmests though). The staff was very friendly! The hotel also had a nice playground for children.

We would have liked to rent bikes but didn't do so because there were no helmets for rent which we wanted since we were travelling with young children.

The welcome on reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds and pool area were very well maintianed with a lifeguard on duty at all times. The location is perfect for a base to explore the area.

For an Aparthotel of this standard I would at least expect them to provide at the very minimum a bar of soap in the bathroom!

Excellent room. Nice surroundings. Great pools. Sweet small public beach is just 3 min walk away. Ideal place for quiet family vacation.

The bus station is about 30 min walk away - quite a walk with the luggage. Check in is quite late, and check out is quite early.

Location near lovely coves & main beach.Close to restaurants & shops -about 10-15mins walk.Hotel apartment was spotless & well maintained.Helpful staff.Lovely pool & jacuzzi with plenty of sunloungers.In a quiet, relaxed spacious surroundings.We asked for a sea view & got it.

Would have liked an electric kettle in the apartment..Towels changed more often.No instructions on how to use Microwave which seemed different to what we normally use & was difficult to figure out.

Exactly what I expected from pictures and reviews on website. Friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English. Kids loved pool, sun beds always available and lifeguards kept it nice for everyone. Location walking distance of town but far enough away to be quiet (there was some traffic noise at night only noticed because windows left open at our choice). Central location for visiting other beaches/towns in Costa Brava.

This apartment was spacious, clean, affordable, close to attractions and shopping, and provided pretty much everything needed for cooking in the kitchenette when desired. The restaurant and pool were great as well.

Free wifi access in rooms could make this place amazing. Also, a toaster in the kitchen is always nice to have! Otherwise...it was a great stay! Thanks!

Great location, friendly staff, good facilities (washing machine and kitchenette in room, work out facility and restaurant on site) and great value.

propre, spacieux, calme (séjour hors saison). Domaine très bien entretenu.

Un peu juste au niveau serviettes de toilettes. Wifi payant (!).

Tout était très bien. Seul le beau temps n'était pas au rendez-vous. Agréable établissement. Heureusement qu'il y avait la piscine chauffée.

Seul problème : le micro-onde qui se mettait en marche même avec la porte ouverte?!! Peut-être aussi le prix des petits dèj un peu excessif!

La situation géographique est excellente : 1 crique magnifique à 5 min et le centre ville de Platja d'Aro propose une multitude de boutiques. L'établissement dispose d'un bassin chauffé à 35°c, génial pour les petits qui se sont baignés tous les jours même par 20°c.

La cuisine n'est pas assez équipée, 1 poêle et 1 petite casserole pour 4... Il ne faut pas dormir dans le canapé lit du salon, pas confortable et surtout pas pratique il faut enlever les draps et refaire le canapé tous les jours.

C'est un endroit vraiment approprié pour les familles (piscine, aire de jeux pour les enfants). Les jardins sont très bien entretenus. Les appartements sont commodes et très propres et le personnel très aimable et réactif.
