Proximity to all of the things I needed to do, as well as excellent restaurants close at hand. Hotel staff, although excellent, recommended a restaurant for Paella as the best in the city, and I would describe it as a disgrace to Spain. The staff, it would seem, gets paid to make recommendations.

As I go to Tango lesson at 89 Calabria once a month, the hotel is the right location for me. I hope you can offer a special price for a regular customer in future.

Central location, friendly staff, clean and cozy. This hotel was not spacious or luxurious, but it had everything we needed. Parking in the garage next door was expensive, but no other option was available.

Location was excellent, in the center, but not in the tourist area. Metro station within walking distance, near was some very good grocery stores, where we could buy food and wine in the room. Near the metro station was very comfy cafe - Barecafe, where you could have a good breakfast for a very reasonable price. Staff was very responsive. WiFi was in the lobby and in the room. In the living room on the 1st floor was little children's playground. The kitchen had everything we needed - kettle, microwave, dishes. Our room overlooking the street, and sometime it was quite noisy. Since we were traveling with a child, especially in the morning it created some problem to us...

The room is a small apartment, there is a small kitchen included in the room, which allows to prepare small snacks, tea or coffee. The room is very big, therefore also convenient for longer stays. A small balcony is big enough for two people to sit outside and enjoy coffee or a cigarette, but chairs must be moved from the room outside (which is not a big deal). It is conveniently located near metro, the airport bus, a shopping mall. The ramblas, old town and Placa Catalunya are 20-30 min walking or easily reachable by metro. Dishes that we used during our stay were not cleaned by cleaning staff, neither were cleaning devices (detergent and sponge) provided. The place is generally calm, but the walls are very thin, so it is easy to hear people talking in other rooms or the staircase. Not convenient if someone is sensitive to noise while sleeping.

Very professional and competent staff, nice and big room with kitchen facilities in a good location. For the price we paid, it does not get better than that. Highly recomended.

Breakfast included - this was a great plus. It is rare to find a hotel with a kitchenette in the room that also provides breakfast. Also, great kid's play area and community spaces - coffee and tea also provided in the community room. Super market literally next door - perfect location. Two blocks from the metro - easily accessible to everything in the city. Very clean room, great breakfast. Free internet access and WiFi. Very thin walls - almost as though the people next door are right there with you sometimes. As with most hotels with kitchenettes, dish washing soap is not provided (we ended up using the provided shower gel). Also, no hand soap provided. Just be aware you'll have to buy some at the store or bring it with you.

Very comfortable spacious apartment ,clean apartment.Good location with restaurants and bars around.Just 2 metro s tops to the city Center or possible to walk there in 15 minutes. The staff was really helpul. There is also a supermarket just down the hotel, very usefull.I Would definitely recommend this hotel to others All in all, I enjoyed the stay and would go back again when visiting Barcelona in the future The free wireless internet was very slow but at least was free. Noisy from 6 A.m hard to sleep not sure if due to people on the upper floor or the cleaning ladies starting to move around.

I like the space of an apartment and the option to cook light foods at my leisure. Europe has fresh foods and there was a fish store, grocery right there. Apartment out of tourist area but metro right there and so cheap and easy. It may be better to stay out of tourist area and some nice shops/restaurants and locals right in area. Staff very helpful and allowed early check in. Good breakfast in hotel and very reasonable.

There are two different areas - one with beds and separated by wardrobe square with 2 armchairs and a table. The windows are ok - we haven't heard any noise. There is a kitchen - you can easily prepare some food. Good supermarket is situated right the next door. Parking is also next door, and it's not very expensive (18e/day). Breakfast is really good and tasty. Staff is very friendly. There are also 2 computers with internet in the lobby for free. Location - just a couple of minutes walking to the nearest metro station Rocafort, and you can also reach Plaza españa and Plaza catalunya by foot, it's not very far. It would be great to have a kettle, but actually there was enough stuff to boil the water in. Tv is longing for be replaced by lcd.

This is a recently built hotel in a low budget price class. The room is spacious, clean and sober. The staff is friendly and speaks english. They have a separate room to store your luggage after you check-out. Your luggage is even labelled properly so it can be identified by staff. This is an excellent value for money hotel.

Apartment is quite large, and is located just 5 mins walk from the metro & 30 mins walk down to La Ramblas. The hotel staff are quite friendly and speak good English. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. It is not a 4* hotel. The sound insulation is very poor (nowhere in Spain has excellent insulation anyway, but this was pretty bad), the soaps and stuff are not always refreshed. The kitchenette didn't have much utensils and on the last day we were provided with something to wash up the dishes.

“Very nice apartment. On arrival we were given a list of free extras that were provided as required (e.g. dish washing equipment if you wanted to cook, extra clothes hangers, etc.). The apartment was kept clean and tidy for us, an extra treat when self catering! When the staff discovered it was my birthday they left a gift for me, which was a nice touch. Location was fine - the centre of town is easy to get to by bus or Metro.” Lynn, York |
