Good residential area.
Good residential area. You will need a car to visit the beaches in south Tenerife like Las Americas / Los cristianos, however street parking was available always in Palm mar. Palm-mar is a residential area and it is not crowded at all.AlanSwitzerland - 8.0Scored 8.0

Palm Mar is a quiet resort away from the busy touristy parts. There are a couple of supermarkets which provide all that one needs for a holiday. There are also a few bars and restaurants which provide meals and drinks at reasonable prices. The whole town is easily walkable and it is easy to walk to the local lighthouse. Mr.Jorge is an amaizing,kind helpful host.Nothing was too much bother and easy to contact.The House has a great courtyard quiet location,short walk to the beach,near the supermarket’s ,shops, and many great restaurants.The apartment is spotlessly clean,has a large bathroom,washer.The kitchen had everything you need. Great shared space.Lovely terrace on the roof top&back of the house.Definitely we recommend and will certainly be going back. Thank you,regards from 🇨🇦 Canada.

Near the apartment there were restaurants (for breakfast and lunch or dinner equally (Trigo Cafeteria Pizzeria) and two supermarkets (Superdipio) and a playground. Inside the area of Palm-Mar, the speed is limited 30km/h and there are roundabouts the most risky points. The apartment was in a fenced area. Outdoor parking is free but limited, depends on the locality and numbers of visitors. There is a public outdoor field for basketball. This area is 15 minutes far from TFS airport by car. Palm mar is a clean pleasant small residential town near Los Cristianos. Unfortunately no direct bus to LC or airport. You have to get local bus to Guaza 10 mins up road then get a bus onward. Taxi to LC is approx €15 each way. Worth the trip. Taxi to airport €22 approx. Lots of really good restuarant....al reasonably priced.. No real beach atea typical canarian sites.... Quiet residential area, with a few supermarkets, shops, not many restaurants, one beach bar. The beach is not very nice (many rocks), I would recommend to go somewhere else to go to the beach. It is a good starting point to discover the island and to have a good night sleep. A car is recommended.
