The city has a magical atmosphere, it is full of beautiful villas and stone streets. There are no big noisy hotels here, the atmosphere is calmer even in the evening. Many possibilities for sports such as cycling, water sports or walking along the beach with cafes and restaurants, every Wednesday there is a market and there are always souvenir stands in the square. Pleasant and smiling people.

I went to Porto Pollença in late September so it was fairly quiet but still warm, bright and dry. It’s a beautiful, clean traditional Mallorcan resort. The beaches are safe and the sea is calm as it is protected by two headlands that scoop around the bay. The larger hotels are set well back from the front so they don’t feel dominant or imposing.
Most of the main drag is pedestrianised so it is safe for children to have a little bit of freedom.
I would recommend hiring a city bike to explore as its relatively flat around the resort. This gives you the opportunity to check-out the amazing selection of beaches in the area. I am definitely going back.

Port de Pollenca is small but beautiful.
Port de Pollenca is small but beautiful. Ideal for cycling enthusiasts as it sits at the start of the mountain area. The sea is calm and warm and shelves gently. It’s also very clear so great for snorkelling. Just up the coast the sea is more open and good for kite surfing. Plenty of restaurants and bars with varying price points. Food was always good 😊

I loved this place.
I loved this place. It was perfect for a relaxing beach holiday with both small and really long sandy beaches and so very clean. I found the sunbeds way too expensive so lay on the sand. There was plenty of room on the beach in October, the weather was around 26°c, the sea was still in the morning and ebbing and flowing in the afternoon - just perfect. Typical beach shops were everywhere selling more or less the same thing, many supermarkets and many restaurants. Not a cheap place to stay though as restaurants were quite expensive (apart from beer and wine) - average meal budget E20. Buses allowed you to visit the surrounding area if you feel the need to move and don't have a car. No Frills organise various trips as well. Very calm, peaceful with beautiful light I would be happy to return - although no doubt July and August are difficult months with many, many tourists.

Hotel Capri has a good retro feeling, it has been here a long time and you can imagine holidays in days gone by. There are wonderful photos of how it was and still is - one of the original hotels on the front. The view from the front rooms is lovely - lie in bed and watch the sun rise over the bay.
The breakfasts are absolutely 5 star with everything you could wish for.
The staff are exceptionally helpful and sorted out ferry bookings and taxis and gave us a packed breakfast. The hotel has a real family feel.
We stayed in July so it was very hot in Mallorca. The terrace is excellent for sitting there when it gets cooler during the night. The location is awesome, right in front of the sea, close to the center. Very clean. The AC was working perfect. We loved the fact that we had a kettle to drink our night tea. Awesome breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay in this hotel again!
Great location, breakfast and very comfy apartment. We were in apartments just across the road from the main hotel and all was to the standard we expected for the hotel. Bike storage arrangements are excellent and particularly appreciated the availability of a room to have a shower before we departed having got one last day on the bikes.
The location, style and facilities are incredible. This is a special hotel in many ways. It’s located at the end of the pine walk which means the area is quiet. It has a dreamy view of the bay and watching the sunrise is well worth getting up for (if you don’t have a sea view walk to the end of the jetty at the front of the hotel)
Hotel room, junior suite beautiful, lovely turquoise colours, ample storage, space, bath placed in bedroom area, lovely touch. Pool area and decor exceptional. Staff very friendly and welcoming. One street behind the Pine Walk on Pollenca Bay.
Pool area lovely and relaxing.
Prices for drinks very reasonable.
Fantastic location
Our balcony faced the calm Mediterranean Sea.
Everyone at the hotel was very accommodating and friendly
I’d heard that they have a super full English breakfast buffet and we included it daily.
A great place and way to start your day.
It’s definitely worth it.
Room was very clean, comfy beds, breakfast was extensive, although average quality.
Location of the hotel its what commands the high price, along with the pool. Free beach towels around the pool, we used them on the beach also when we couldn’t get a bed around the pool.
Very helpful staff. Good, clean modern room with seating area. Free welcome drink in hotel bar and free (non-alcoholic) items in minibar. Excellent central location just one street behind the Pine Walk. Good value for money.
The location is ideal, just facing the beach; the staff are all remarkably professional and smiling, which has a huge impact on the overall feel of a hotel. The bed was super comfy, and our corridor was very quiet at night.
This hotel and the staff are charming. It's serenely located with a comfortable bustle of activity from the restaurant next door. The breakfast is hearty, the rooms are clean, the air is fresh, and the beds are cozy!
The location is brilliant - right on the Pine Walk. Lovely breakfast with a great selection. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is welcoming and very comfortable.
Very elegant hotel right on the beach, with stunning views of the bay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Rooftop terrace was excellent.
