The location, prices, staff
good location, mini kitchen, three elevators available Close to metro and supermarket and restaurant and bar
No eating table and weak wifi signals
Spacious, comfortable, good location
Would have liked more kitchen worktop space and equipment provided as standard.
Great location close to shopping, dining, Metro, parks and sightseeing. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bathroom was new, spacious, clean with great shower pressure (and bathtub!) and helpful amenities.
Kitchen was very tiny, which made it difficult for preparing a meal. Breakfast buffet had decent selection, but food was mediocre and there are plenty of local spots where you can find a good deal on tasty food. Lots of street noise heard from our apartment on 2nd floor.
quiet , clean and in a good location , in downtown and convenience to everywhere. good breakfast. Hotel reception service are quite good, they helped to make reservation of flamenco and taxi .
wifi is not so strong in the room .
The location was great, close to center and subway. The breakfast was also good and with variety. Staff was helpful.
There was a lot of noise going on: from the elevators, from the stairs, from outside, from the party people.
confort, location and personnel
lack of privacy in the apartment, would be better with different access to bathroom for three people
Unexpectedly spacious and clean
Sofa beds were uncomfortable but still worth the money
About the hotel itself: the perfect location near the metro station, food supermarket, and several places of interest. The staff was helpful. Good Wi-Fi connection. About the room: the beginning of the story was awful: our first room (Apartment for 2 people) shocked us (read the “minus” section). We had to pay extra fee for another room (Apartment for 3 people), which was much better. This room was really suitable for 2 people. All the “pluses” describe ONLY the second (Apartment for 3 people), more expensive room. The room was very big, it was not noisy, beds were comfortable, there was a living room with table, chairs and two sofas. Kitchen was small but convenient. The air conditioning was not very intensive but it was working.
Most “minuses” describe the room named “Apartment for 2 people”. There are also few for “Apartment for 3 people” (see below). Our first room (Apartment for 2 people) can be described as the vampire’s coffin. There was no normal window. In fact there was something that meant a window but it was covered by matte plastic instead of glass and overlooked… the ventilating well from the kitchen with respective noises and smells. This fact was not mentioned in room description either on booking.com site or on the hotel’s site. Really if the person has problems with claustrophobia, he or she might have the panic attack in this room especially at night when there is no light at all. However there was not much light at the daytime as well. We never had problems of such kind but this room was really very uncomfortable. The second big problem was connected with the kitchen. It was so small that a person can only walk in sidewise and there is no possibility to turn around at all (less then 30 centimeters from the wall to the kitchen cabinet which you have to open but it is impossible when you are inside). Also your have to go down to the reception to get any cooking battery and the choice is rather poor. The third problem was the bathroom. The room is not small, really, but the room planning includes: built-in wardrobe in the bathroom next to the shower, safe-box in the bathroom near the shower, and the lavatory pan with the full panoramic view to the bedroom. It is impossible to use the wardrobe and walk in/out of the bathroom at the same time. For two persons it is impossible to use the wardrobe and the lavatory pan at the same time. The forth problem: the pillows (one per person) were thin and uncomfortable. As for the minuses of our second room (Apartment for 3 people): the wardrobe and the safe-box were still in the bathroom (but this time not near the shower). The pillow were still thin but there were 2 pillows per person.
A good location, not right in the center but near enough to walk to most everything you want to see. Reasonably large rooms.
Furniture a bit tired and badly laid out. Breakfast OK, but not great.
I was first drawn to the location as well as the excellent price. Once there, I appreciated the comfort of the room and the quietness! I have been familiar with the area for years so that getting around was no problem. I found the staff to be most helpful - especially when my taxi had not arrived by 4 a.m. & the young man on duty called to check.
I guess the only thing I didn't like was that I wasn't able to stay longer!!
Great location, within walking distance from the major attractions, wonderful breakfast with great variety and wonderful presentation!
The carpet was old and with stains and the bathroom tub was leaking and after a shower we had a mini flood in the bathroom.
The location is excellent, with Metro Arguelles just around the corner and El Corte Ingles opp the metro station. The suits are adequately spacious with a good sized bathroom/changing area. The kitchenette is really tiny and no electric kettle for hot water to make tea.
Noisy cleaning staff!! They tend to chatter quite loudly when they are in the corridors cleaning rooms on your floor!
Location is great and the staff was very helpfull and accommodating.
- very comfortable - convenient position - excellent price
- nothing really
this accommodation made a great holiday even better
The hotel is in great location - in a quite part of Madrid, close to parks, the metro, local shops bars and restaurants. There is also a major department store with a large supermarket nearby. It is a pleasant 30 minute walk through parks to get right into the heart of Madrid. The Hotel apartments are comfortable and well serviced. The kitchen equipment is adequate. The price is good.
The kitchen is a bit small.
- space in the room (as big as a small apartment) - breakfast - location
- air-co was not yet switch-on and it was quite hot at night.
Rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable.
Friendly staff, speaking fluently English. Spacious apartment, no outside noise.
In comparison with other hotels rooms are large and equipped well. Very useful is a small kitchen, where you can prepare your meal yourself, if you can. If I will visit Madrid one more time in my future, certainly I will stay in this hotel.
location of the hotel firnedly and professionnal staff arrangement, size and comfort of the studio
I liked the location very near metro. Staff is very friendly. Room was very big with a balcony, always clean and tidy.
There was nothing I did not like.
the bathroom and helpful and real nice staff
no thing at the moment
Good location, good breakfast.
Bad layout of the room- bathroom to large on expense of the bedroom, kitchen almost impossible to use, as was the desk.
