The service was really great. The staff were personable, professional, and empathic. All my requests however small were attended to, swiftly, and promptly. Tania Rodriguez, the lady in charge of the apartments is an absolute star! Her attention to detail, and understanding of how to fully assist guests went beyond the call of duty. There are too many examples to cite here, however, one particular example that stands out is when my phone decided to freeze, and I was unable to turn it off. Tania tried her best to help me, to no avail. Se called me a taxi, and sent me to the nearest village to a phone shop, and I got my phone fixed! Whenever I need anything to do with the apartment, it was dealt with immediately, with no fuss. I cannot recommend her services highly enough; a true people person, and all round professional. Well laid out apartment, lots of storage for two people. Very clean, nice, big, windows, making it very airy and light. The bed very comfortable, I slept extremely well in my apartment. Had some cutlery, a couple of pans/frying pans/cups/drinking glasses. Very quiet, peaceful place even though it is near the A49 motorway. Good location if you have a car. There is ample, secure, parking available If using public transport, you need to be more intrepid. Best bus to use to go to Seville is M163, There is a timetable on the recepton wall, usually half hourly e.g. 05 past the hour, and 35 past the hour although 159, 160, 161, and 162 will lave you within a ten minute walk of the apartments. Lidl supermarket not too far away within ten minutes walking or five minutes by car. Nice choice at breakfast in the morning to suit most palates. Cost 6 euros if non inclusive. Vertices apartments are ideal for all types of travellers, whether you are a couple on a weekend away, a young family, or travelling on a medium budget. It's an ideal base to use to explore Sevilla, Huelva, Cordoba, Cadiz, or even Portugal and you get great service!
The apartments could have been stocked with basics, like washing up liquid, salt and pepper. If you want to stay out after 11.30pm, then you get hit by hefty taxi fares between 15 and 20 euros per ride.
Ok, so the apartment itself is designed really well and the layout is good. There is plenty of storage and wardrobe space for a couple and the bathroom is very spacious with good water pressure in the shower and a nice deep bath so on first impressions you think yeah this is nice!
There are a number of things which need improvement and the first and foremost for me is the staff on the front desk. I found the nightshift staff very nice but the man and woman on during the day i found very rude, abrupt, and had the attitude of the last thing they wanted to be doing was speaking to you. I was ignored for 15 minutes while trying to check in and got talking to another person checking out who was also angry with how the staffs attitude was. In regards to the room there are several irritating things like there not being an oven. The Domocentre and most other apartments have ovens in them. There were no mugs to have a cup of coffee or tea, and no kettle whether plug in or one you can heat on the hob. The beds were cheap and nasty if you moved at all however slight you would slide across the floor so going to bed at night you would wake up a good half a meter from where you started if you could sleep at all with the pillows which were so hard and flat. As a couple your going to be extra uncomfortable and grumpy and very lucky if you get any action at all due to the weakness of the beds I think you will end up smacking into the floor when the cheap beds break. The other thing lacking in the room is any info regarding getting your apartment cleaned or fresh towels etc. If like me it is your first time there you would guess your room would get turned out and towels changed as there is a sign you can hang out on your door. This isn't the case and there is a list of charges for any of these services which you may struggle to get from enquiring at the front desk again due to the rude staff who kept me waiting nearly 10 minutes when I asked if I could get a change of towels. Turns out it is 3 euros for a change of towels even if you are there 10 days like me. This is fine but I asked them to change them for me and 2 days later it still hasn't been done!
Good base to see Seville from. Nice size apartment.
Kitchen poorly equipped and no kettle??
