Everything but the apartment
Apart from the shoddy apartment everything was great
Ideally placed for all amenities and beach. Apartments are spacious with a good sized balcony.
The pool seemed a little murky and there was some noise from bars below, but only to be expected in a central location.
The Galeon Playa was well positioned near the seafront with shops, bars, and promenade in the immediate vicinity. It provided comfortable accommodation for it's clients, and fulfilled the majority of needs.
Perhaps the apartments are a little bit dated now and in need of refurbishment, but the 3 star rating was representational of this, otherwise we would give it 3+
Having to buy extras such as fan, safe lock, remote control etc
Close to everything, the beach, bars and shops
Nil - better than I expected
The hotel was minutes walk from the beach, there's a supermarket right outside and an abundance of restaurants within a stones throw. The hotel was basic but more than adequate as a base for exploring Costa Teguise. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped although we never used the kitchen it had everything I would have expected. Overall a nice wee hotel and wouldn't hesitate in booking again. I can't stress enough how ideal the location is.
Not much really, our tv reception wasn't great but we were on holiday and didn't really care.
the convenience of the location
the condition of the sun loungers, especially the ones that have the raisable backs
Good central location, Good facilities in the room. Plenty of hot water.
Excellent location really close to shops, bars and restaurants and the beach but still quiet once you were in the complex. Our apartment was a really good size and spotlessly clean
Although there were plenty of sunbeds around the pool most of them did not have a back rest so if you wanted to read (which I do a lot)it was a bit difficult lying down. A trivial thing but you did ask!!
Nice big enough apartement in great spot. Pools OK, very good for the price.
A bit to little kitchen equipment.
The apartment was very spacious and perfectly clean. Very good kids' animation from 10-11.45 am.One pool is slightly heated and possible to be in.The staff is very friendly , the reception helpful, the restaurant staff has their wonderful spirit -smiling and paying attention to everyone and specially to children. The beach is very short distance and a beautiful one.Stores, restaurants, pharmacy, hairdresser salon very close. The food was good. It is on my opinion great value for the money.
The evening animation was starting after 9 pm even the mini disco once a week, some ants but easy to control them as I was prepared . There were days without soap in the restaurant's toilets.
Excellent location for the resort. Quiet and peaceful with amenities very close by. Excellent selection of restaurants and beaches. Staff were very helpful and hotel was good value for money.
Hotel needs an upgrade but is clean and well kept so did not detract from enjoyment. Excellent budget family location.
very friendly ,helpful staff
Close to beaches, town etc very helpful staff , nice pools and area
Dreary room and in need of renovation(block e6)
The hotel is in a good central location close to beaches, cafés, pubs and restaurants. If you're SC shop at the Spar instead of the Hiperdino as it's cheaper. There is a large Spar on the corner a few streets up across from the Albatross Hotel.
The room was tired feeling, doors jamming onto the floor and door handles where hanging off. The freezer compartment had no door which would have been useful as we were SC and bought food to cook at the apartment. The balconies in the apartment were very small with barely any sun reaching them. We did request a room change but they never accommodated us even though it was the week before the Easter holidays and they weren't that busy.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The whole vacation went really well.
There was this awkward moment on the first day. I was asked to pay for the hotel. But I somehow got the impression that the money would be taken off the credit card I used to book at Booking.com. They agreed to do that. On the same day I was recalled urgently to pay. This time I was told they could not accept an American express. By pure chance I had another credit card with me but could not remember the PIN. Felt like a criminal who had booked but could not pay for the room. In the end I managed to pay. But the point is that if Booking.com accepts American express so should the hotel. Or if not, that detail should be highlighted at the booking confirmation.
the staff were very accommodating, and friendly.
on arrival our apt was not ready, we were early so no problem we were allowed to see the apt ,it was disgusting, dark, up aside walk could be frightening if on your own ,number was 116, we were two couples we then were put in 2x1bed apts top floor, for the time of month it was over five hundred pounds alot of money for what it was .we paid within that price for breakfast.it only cost 6euros per person,by paying within the rental of thr apt we paid more. we were not given an early call in the morning 4am flight was 7.10.lucky we did not sleep we could have missed the flight,we are in our sixties, i would sal the outside of the property looks good same about the inside, bar area,we only went in once white paper clued to ceiling, where cracks have occured ,very dark and grubby, we did not see any of the entertainment, not good.its a same as this property is in a prim position.we are sorry we would not recommend to friends or family, i appreciate some properties are struggling, we tried to find different accommodation,no to be had ,.thats how bad the 2bed apt was.the young lady at the desk kept saying she was sorry and was prepared for us to contact yourselves to get our money back, but we could find nowhere else to stay.this has not put us off booking through yourselves again but will do more research first.the well equipt kitchen were two cooker rings, afridge, 2 saucepans no thing else accept alittle cutlery.so could not do any cooking.
I like the area in general good food apartments in a good spot close to what ever you like I love it
Noisy movement of support services - 2am - room above thoroughfair Paying for wifi
Big sized apartment with balcony and cleaned regularly. Great location.
Beds were so uncomfortable that we won't stay again. Both our backs suffered and still sore from it. Pool was far too cold to swim in.
South facing balcony was excellent. Reception staff very good especially Tania. Technicians quick to respond. Location excellent.
Cooker failed on each of the 3 days we tried to use it - got a new one. Constant rattle of front door was very annoying. Had to ask for clean sheets on day 5. Entrance to our block was badly needing an upgrade. No microwave dishes or wine glasses.
Great location, quiet, family friendly
Pool too cold
Rooms need updating.
great location great apartment value for money
Location almost on the beach and handy for all of resort. Good, friendly staff ... plus two settee's that we can stretch out on...
This was our third time here and sadly food standard had slipped, but we all complained and caterers (80% food in CT hotels by caterers) were sacked and the one was great..so looking forward to next year.
