Abba Atocha Hotel  

The reception staff were delightful, and extremely helpful. Lovely, comfortable room. The breakfast selection was very good. The bus stop is only 20 metres away, and takes you to within a short walk to the railway station. We liked this hotel very much. The reception desk was very open to addressing our needs. Well done!!

Value for money

mattress and pillows were too hard and made my neck sore. maybe it was the mattress in that particular room only. everything else was fine.

Very comfortable hotel in a good location.Excellent air conditioning when temperature outside was 37 degrees. Close to metro and train. Easy trip to Atocha. Close to new riverside park and theatre. Lots of bars and terraces five minutes walk.

Very near to the city's center, nice bathroom, great bed, no noise from the street, clean.

Staff at check in and check out very helpful. Amenities in the restroom.

Air conditioning in the room and ventilator in bathroom were noisy

They had good clean rooms and à great breakfast. Near à subway.

It was thin walls so you heard the other guest. They Do not offer free wifi in the rooms.

It is near to the train centre, however we found that taxi drivers were not interested in bringing us on the short journey. Not your fault! Our daughter lives nearer the station on Maria de la Cabez so this meant we could see her and be home together when we were socialising.

we found it hard to find the metro near to the hotel. also our flight was early morning and as one of us are diabetic we were disappointed that the restaurant was not open until 8am at the weekends. when we used the restaurant for breakfast during the week we found the staff very helpful. Again with the diabetic person, though I am told you do not have the practice of having tea in the room, it was hard to cater for the needs of a diabetic. We had hoped to find small coffee shops/bars to eat in but there was no information for us.

Fui a Madrid para un concierto y elegi este hotel por cercania al Calderon. Solo me sorprendio gratamente la limpieza de las habitaciones.

El aspecto del hombre que me atendio en la recepcion a mi llegada era algo descuidado y tambien fue bastante seco. Pedi la cena cuando llegue del concierto y tardaron en subirmela a la habitacion una hora y cuarto. La chica que me cobro en la recepcion a mi salida se nego a pedirme un taxi y tuve que esperar en la calle sola a las 5 de la mañana a que pasara uno. El moviliario algo viejo, la television tiene una veintena de años y las vistas eran a un patio interior. Era consciente que iba a un hotel de 3 estrellas pero nunca pense que dejaria tanto que desear. Es demasiado caro para los servicios y la atencion que prestan.

La habitación individual era pequeña, sin luz y tenía el mismo precio que la doble, por lo que me pareció muy cara.
