Hotel Arbe  

Located 5 min from Deba, this hotel has a splendid view on the ocean and its beautifull coast here. It is the most comfortable hotel in the area, and by far my best choice at least 20 km around. Room was clean with nice design furniture with a little balcony facing the swimming pool and the ocean (it seems that most of rooms have the same wonderfull view). Good bed. Bathroom was equipped with shower and good quality products (soap, shampoo...) were provided. Excellent service. My early breakfast was kindly served according to my request. Restaurant offers homemade cooking with local specialties. It was quite simple but very good. I will book again this place for my next stay!

A superb hotel, family run giving exceptional service and help. Position is unbeatable with easy access along the coast and to San Sebastian. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Everything is very good. The only thing is that you can get there only by car.

à very rare combination of modernity (design, look&feel, wifi) and cosiness (small hotel, extremely friendly people, cosy, homemade dishes with homegrown vegetables). Ideally located between Bilbao and San Sebastian, very quiet location, the only sound to be heard is the sea below. Spanish, Basque, French and English spoken. Top boutique hotel!

Food could be improved

Wonderful Owner who went out of her way to provide service above the norm. Sunny quiet room overlooking the sea. Great to do the Deba walk for 4 hours then come back and relax in the sunshine/pool. The food was also fantastic with lots of local cuisine.

The hotel was new and extremely comfortable. It is run by the owners who are very friendly and extremely helpful. We had a great stay. Good place to stay to explore the countryside and is midway between Bibao and San Sebastian.

You do need a car to get around from this hotel.

I cannot speak too highly of this hotel. The owners devote themselves wholeheartedly to their guests' wellbeing, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel was designed by the owners, and reflects their excellent taste and desire to provide an ambience which gives the guests a perfect base for their stay in this wonderful environment.

La situation de l'hotel surplombant la mer Cantabrique . L'environnement . Les petits déjeuners et les repas concoctés avec les produits locaux et naturels sont excellents. Les installations extérieures et intérieures modernes et accueillantes. Nous avons été particulièrement sensibles au professionnalisme, à la gentillesse et l'attention d'Itzi la maitresse de maison, qui permettent à chacun de se sentir "chez soi", de plus Itzi est un excellent guide qui sait promouvoir sa région et qui est capable d' adapter à chacun un programme de séjour personnalisé. Une adresse que l'on aurait envie de garder que pour soi ! a la première occasion nous y retournons.

Nos ha gustado mucho el hotel Arbe, su diseño, sus impresionantes vistas, la calidez y comodidad de su cama. Las vistas que tiene son impresionantes, y el desayuno que nos prepararon de lujo, todavia nos acordamos de la trenza de hojaldre con pasas y nueces. Las personas que lo regentan son muy amables y atentos, nos dieron recomendaciones para visitar el entorno que nos vinieron muy bien.
