It doesn't have A/C, and while this is not a problem in Avila, where it's always cool or cold at night and you can open the window to cool off your room, there's unfortunately too much street noise (restaurant trash pick up, for example) to open the window. Other than that, everything was fine. Ask for an inside room.
This is a small family run hotel, and while it's a little on the worn looking side, everything is clean and works well (best wifi of my trip, in fact). The beds are comfortable and the shower is excellent. It's well located, and there's nearly free parking nearby on the streets just outside the walls.
There's a great little bar next door - I'm not sure if it's associated with the hotel, but it's a very cozy spot with good snacks.
