Hotel Areca  

The staff were particularly helpful. The room was beautiful and the beds excedingy comfortable.There is a lovely outdoor restaurant in the palm-filled garden.It is a 5 minute drive to the airport but the taxi fare is between 10 and 13€.

My only criticism is that at the moment, the view from the front of the hotel is a bit disappointing. The hotel is the last building in the town and faces onto what can only be decribed as untidy scrubland. Obviously this could change as nw buildings go up.

Friendly and helpful staff..secure parking as an alternative to adjacent street parking..shuttle bus service to airport..proximity to airport..well insulated against aircraft nose....very comfortable and commodious bedroom..good value for facilities used

I could not work out how to use the bath/ shower taps and needed to leave before I could get proper advice ! The buffet breakfast choice was limited, with no visible opportunity to ask for any 'extras'.

Good underground secure parking, spacious rooms very close to Alicante airport. Good friendly staff.

Buffet breakfastwhilst reasonably priced needs upgrading. Jug marked hot milk was actually luke warm and I had to ask for it to be heated in the microwave. Danish pastries/croissants had ants on the dish. Some more fruit would have been nice.

The Hotel was very clean and comfortable likewise the Rooms,rooms cleaned to an exceptional Standard everyday,the Staff were so friendly and helpful,Restaurant food was very good and if one didnt want to eat a full meal there were excellent Bar Snacks served till very late.My only gripe would be the heavy smell of cigarette smoke outside the hotel bedrooms we asked for a non smokimg room however when we entered the room it smealt very heavily of cigarette smoke and there was an ash tray in the bedroom although there had been an attempt to freshen the room as a window was wide open we could still smell it.We are returning to Alicante and are going to stay at the Hotel again,so if your a non smoker just double check its a non smoking room and all will be fine

Modern, comfortable hotel in excellent location for Alicante airport.

Laminate/wooden flooring in bedrooms and could easily hear people in bedroom next door. We were awoken in the early hours of the morning by the guests in the next room. Although they were probably only talking to each other it sounded as if they were in our room. The laminate flooring made it very noisy when they were walking about in the room and we could hear one of them snoring when they fell asleep.

Very clean modern & friendly hotel located near to the airport. The room was of a high standard & the cost was extremely good value

THe only dissapointment was that the airport shuttle was not available at the weekend which was one of the main reasons we booked. Taxi charges were very expensive

Excellent!!

Close to the airport approx 10 euros in taxi however the hotel runs shuttle bus in the daytime. Lovely hotel, very relaxing enviroment and gorgeous rooms. Definately advise if you need somewhere to stay cose to the airport.

Breakfast not very good

It is basically an airport hotel, and I stayed there because it was near the airport. Design, cleanliness and comfort. It is either new or newly renovated and very comfortable with a spa and other amenities.

ITs just plain a very nice airport hotel, and nothing negative.

Very convinient location close to the airport. Helpful airport shuttle service which makes the guest life easier. Free wi-fi service in room makes hotel favorite choice
