Hotel Astoria Playa Adults Only    

hard to fault the hotel, had just been refurbished/renovated. we stayed in a brand new suite. The staff were excellent, and most have been working there forever. the facilities were great, the food very good with a good variety, both breakfast and dinner. the decor is simple, but good,

the lounge could do with a bit more atmosphere and personality, also fet a bit cold as it was wide open, and the weather whilst we were there was a bit chilly. A lunch snack menu would have been good, but judging by some of the renovations still happening at the time, perhaps that was still on its way.

rooms a bit austere - no carpets. Not allowed bikes in room - a problem when there for a triathlon - not enough racks downstairs.

Definitely recommend this hotel, clean, tasty food, location was not far from beach.

Wi-Fi was only in receptio and had to pay for it. It would be worth to pay if wifi would be available rooms.

Next to the beach, bars and restaurants Big swimming pool, balcony in each room, etc. the ideal place to relax. Very kind and friendly staff

The new beds are lovely with memory foam matresses. Food was excellent.

Staff were not 100% sure of the process for the shuttle bus to the airport and told me it was 'on their website'. once booked with reception, the bus came a bit late and has to stop down the road, i was told to wait inside the hotel and then told to wait outside on the day, the manager is a little grumpy, but other staff were lovely. Hotel needs to be finished in terms of filling the jacuzzi pool and some work going on at the front of hotel.

This is a fabulous hotel. It's located near (I suppose it's no more than 300m) the marvelous beach. It has excellent meals. I was startled with the variety of food as for the 3 star hotel. Everything was very tasty, everyone will find everything he likes for sure including deserts and fruits. Restaurant stuff was very attentive and fast working. The room was very tidy every day, cleaning stuff worked perfectly, seems like they have been changing towels each day. The location of the hotel is perfect - it was very cosy and comfortable without noisy bars and discos. Hotel guests are mainly elderly German and British people. I would recommned this hotel as excellent hotel and for sure I would like to stay here again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pool and bar area

Despite being adults only there were a couple of children (10 and 15 year olds) No plug sockets in main rooms Pay for everything extra - 30 euro if want to change room, 22 euro to rent a hair dryer, 5 euro for mini golf, 20 euro for safe for a week. Adds up!

As a single traveller I felt safe and comfortable, the staff were always friendly and the evening entertainment very good. I would recommend this to friends and family. The fact that it was adults only as well was really good.

I could hear the people in my next door room on a number of occasions especially as one was a loud snorer!!, and chairs etc from the room above.

All in all a good basic hotel. Good choice at breakfast cant comment on the evening meal as only stayed B&B. Location good, 5 mins walk to the beach and a short walk to the bars and restaurants, one thing I would say is the hotel is quite close to a main road so if you get a room overlooking the enterance to the hotel the noise from the road is quite loud.

Vorzügliches Essen - Frühstücksbuffet ausgezeichnet, vorallem der frische Orangensaft Personal sehr freundlich Sehr schön renoviertes Hotel.

Kalt war es, trotz Anreise im Mai Man konnte auch nicht in der Bar sitzen, da es ziemlich kalt war und alle Türen trotzdem immer geöffnet waren. Schade !

Die schöne renovierte Hotelanlage (noch nicht ganz fertig gestellt), die modernen Zimmer (sehr bequeme Betten), der freundliche Service. Der Pool Bereich ist sehr geschmackvoll ausgestattet mit Einzel- und Doppel-Liegen sowie angrenzend eine Lounge-Bar. Tolles Hotel mit viel Ambiance für Erwachsene, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen und die Nähe zu Strand und Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten schätzen. Wir würden wieder dorthin gehen.

In den Zimmern fehlt ein grosser Spiegel!

Der var et utroligt flinkt personale, som sørgede godt for os uden at være anmasende. Det gælder både servering, rengøring og reception. Maden var god og varieret.

Het hotel is een duidelijk super gerenoveerd hotel en men is nog steeds bezig met aanpassingen/veranderingen (tuin, buitenbar etc).. Het is een modern design hotel, vriendelijk personeel en een uitstekende keuken.

Een antal gerechten voor het diner worden ter plekke in de eetzaal op de plaat klaar gemaakt, geweldig, echter de gerechten in de verwarmde bakken zijn lauw, wat erg jammer is want de smaak is prima. Het was echter duidelijk te merken dat zij hieraan werken.

Decorado y diseñado con muy buen gusto. Limpieza absoluta, habitación muy acogedora. Muy importante para mi el que tenga parking privado.

Viajo casi siempre por motivos laborales, y me gusta relajarme al llegar viendo un poco la tv, esta es algo pequeña para mi gusto. Como apunté negativo el wifi de pago.

Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De accomodatie is totaal gemoderniseerd, het oogt schoon, heeft stijl en over elk detail is nagedacht. Het ontbijt en avondeten is zeer uitgebreid, gevarieerd, vers en overheerlijk!

Zojuist gerenoveerd hotel. Prachtige inrichting zowel binnen als buiten. Prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is perfect in de periode dat wij hier verbleven.

Geen lunchmogelijkheid (misschien kwam dit door het feit dat men bij het zwembad aan de voorzijde nog een voorziening aan het bouwen was.

La propreté de l'hôtel. Les chambres simples mais chics. Les deux piscines, et leurs confortables transats. Les petits déjeuners copieux et bons ( pancakes, fruits, omelette, saucisses, pain frais etc....) Proximité de la plage Personnel souriant et agréable Arrivée tardive (22h donc après fermeture du restaurant) mais il nous ont préparé un plateau repas
