Score from 347 reviews Good
The quirky and cheerful interiors of these apartments are in perfect harmony with the sunny location right on the coast, offering fantastic sea views from both the studios and the restaurant.

Lovely staff. Nice room. Good kitchen. Clean and large room close to center, supermarket and shops great for couples
Wifi not working No parking. Need to find around hotel hot water run out fast
Location was excellent. Staff welcoming and very helpful.Sky News and BBC News on TV was a nice bonus
NO bad experiences but a kettle would be useful
The apart. hotel is located in the heart of the town, close to everything. The multi lingual staff is very polite, helping and proffesional. The room is spacious and confortable. The breakfast is rich. The price is goog.
The bath facilities policy is very consevative: There is no shampoo. You get a small piece of solid sope, "as a wellcome gesture". The towels are changed 3 times a week. I must say, that my remarks to the reception, on those subjects, were fruitfull. There was no dishwashing soap in the kichennett, neither was a kettle, so one should boil water on the electric stove within a pot. I respect that policy and any policy, as far as it is published on the hotel's site, while anyone makes the reservation, without surprices, at the arrivel. Anyway, sice i think, the staff did consider my remarks, hopefully for every body, i would come again, especially, if the visit is without a rented car. ( The public parking lots, on the streets, are mostly full)/
Low price, good location. Good shower.
Parking is difficult. Cooking in the appartment was a challenge.
The reception staff were friendly, although said we couldn't change room when we had no balcony. The room was very large, clean and tidy although a bit sparse! The option of having music piped into room was a nice touch and the bed was very large and comfortable - a proper king size bed. Location was very good, close to all amenities with a large supermarket just round the corner and the beach was only a 5 minute walk away. A good place to stay if you don't really need a fully functioning self catering apartment.
No balcony. There are a couple of outside terraces on different floors you can use but they are only open from 8am-6pm! The kitchen is extremely small with no plug sockets so you can only use a kettle if you plug it in by the bed. The kitchen area is too small for any food prep, very disappointing - and the table provided is also too small. No seating area provided in room, which is strange because there was plenty of room for a sofa and coffee table, the room looked rather empty without this. Would call this a large hotel room rather than a self catering apartment.
Close to every point, in the middle of Puerto de la Cruz.
1 minute walk from the seafront in a pedestrian commercial street, rather large studios, daily cleaning, correct breakfast, amicable staff, low prices for Puerto (around 75€/night for two)
Furniture a bit basic, but adequate. Finding and accessing the car park needs asking at the (friendly) reception so managing to first park elsewhere.
Friendly staff, spacious room
Location and staff friendliness.
I prefer darker rooms for sleeping, and maybe they could replace the TV for a newer/bigger one.
Very central, near nice pedestrian area
The location is very central
No parking although advertised as having on site. Stayed in a studio with a double bed, mattress really uncomfortable.Room dark and depressing,no kettle, hairdryer, kitchen was unuser friendly, in a cupboard. In fairness, reception offered us another room on a smokers floor,we don't smoke.Checked out early.
Location, décor, friendliness of staff.
Breakfast was limited
Staff were very friendly and helpful Kitchen was good. Room was a good size. Central location
Noisy outside and sometimes inside the hotel Wifi didn't work all the time.. and cost 10 Euros per week Didn't like the memory foam beds
The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Nice roof terrace to chill out on when the sun does come out. Apartment had a 2 ring hob and a microwave. The rooms are large enough, we stayed in a studio. Beds were a little hard but two large singles pushed together. Excellent location for both the seafront/beach and not far from the old town.
Can be a little noisy with doors and hallways. Would have been nice to have some English tv channels. Not much hot water for a bath.
The Location The staff The room The pool
Quiet and peaceful place, slept well. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Nice pool, especially for kids (my son of 8 years liked it).
Had to buy my own espresso cooker at the local supermercado, it was missing from the kitchen equipment.
We enjoyed our stay in the Astoria very much, the staff were very warm and friendly. Our room was kept spotlessly clean every day. Brilliant location. I've stayed before in Port Del Curz but just outside of centre, cost fortune in taxis. Would definitely stay here again. Sometimes 3 star better than 4 star. Very quaint hotel!!!
Very nice hotel. Big bright room. Good location.
Very uncomfortable flat pilllows. No teakettle, no hairdrier available in the room. Old fashion TV (no music chanel)
Public area Size of room Cleanliness Breakfast Staff
Nothing - got what you paid for
- Nice staff - Very near to promenade - Parking
- No aircon, but it is a problem of most of the hotels - Room is a bit old
Plenty of hot water, clean and tidy
No aircon needed more pillows
Clean Hotel Good parking facility
Night receptionist when we arrived was very arrogant Name of the hotel is also Bambi - locals do not know Astoria but Bambi Finding the garage was not very straightforward. And you have to wait for receptionist to open.
This hotel is a great choice if you are looking for a relaxing holiday in Tenerife/Puerto de la Cruz. It is located in the center of the town, close to all shops, restaurants and main squares as well as the beaches although very quiet. Rooms are spacious, with amenities such as microwave, fridge, tv, pans and pots (useful if you plan to cook), large bathroom with bathtub etc. It also features a small dining table with chairs and an abundance of space for all of your belongings (or shopping :-) We really enjoyed it and would definitely come back!
No Wi-Fi in the room, no air-conditioning (only a ceiling fan) and no balcony.
Good self-catering facilities ( a kitchen in a cupboard), very nice bathroom and general decor/storage. Common parts very smart (though largely unused) - grand piano in the sala! Staff very friendly - good location near San Telmo.
Pool very useful but in shade some of the day. Didn't try breakfast buffet since I was selfcatering, but looked OK. No complaints!
The location is superb and is in walking distance of everything nice to discover. Rooms are cleaned daily and properly, and the rest of the hotel was nice and tidy as well. Staff is very friendly and willing to help with anything.
The hotel does seem to be stuck in the past. Proud ratings of two years old are showcased, while the rating has lowered since. Gym facilities are rusting away on the top floor and seem quite dangerous to use. A rather high premium is required for extra facilities, but also for basic things like dish soap and a brush.
