Cheap, good location
Nothing spectacular, no air conditioning, have to pay for WiFi
It was so close to the center of the city .
Lack of AC created a very bad nights ! Very small and too much old type hotel . The only hotel I have ever seen withought telephone in the rooms . The TV in room was made at least 3 decades ago and was antique in terms of size !
The location was excellent the stuff were so kind and the room was so clean
The noise of the street was really disturbing when you stay in the room
Its near the city, and can you can walk , you don't need the metro
The noises from outside, you can hear everything.
Dirty and bad smell. You get what you get for the price in that location.
You must pay WIFI as a big hotel, but hotel was dirty and the room was dirty without air and air conditioning. All Hotel it's very dirty and old.
The location is great, the rooms are big and confortable. We were all very pleased.
A bit old fashioned, but that does not diminish the excellences of the place.
The noise, no AC, terrible bed. But it was very cheap and you get what you pay for. I will pay more next time.!!!!!!
Good value for money. Perfect location, friendly staff, big rooms.
the state of the building and the room. all looked like in the '80s caribean.
The location and price are excellent!
No free wi-fi, no air-conditioning, the street is very noisy at night (but then it was my choice for a room facing the streets)
Nice and central, within walking distance to food and tourist attractions.
No air conditioning.
no air condition.
Size of the room
Costs 12 Euro per day for wifi Staff rude and unhelpful
Rooms were large
Wifi costs 12 euro a day Very rude and unhelpful staff
location, helpfulness of staff
noise from other guests...
Very cheap and an ideal location - less than 2min walk from Sol Metro station.
No air conditioning, pay per use room safe, poorly maintained rooms (i.e. TV socket broken, lights poorly repaired) and generally indifferent front desk staff
The location, it was very close to the Puerto de Sol and the Prado Museum. But then Madrid is quite small and most hotels in the centre are also close. The staff had a good level of English. A decent sized room.
One towel had dirty dusty marks on it. No air conditioning. Lack of plugs. I had to use an extension cable! No Wi-Fi. They wanted to charge 6EUR per hour. Daft and mean these days. Overall a tired hotel, in need of rennovation and under invested.
There were hairs like if someone just cut their hair over the sheets and pillow. The smell of towels and sheets was like facial grease or if someone hasnt showered for days and you smell its head
Decent value considering location. Quirky rooms.
Very noisy. Location very noisy till early hours. Staff not very welcoming. Scary elevator.
the most awful nights sleep ever. Pillows were made of rocks. No AC.
Everything was horrible, from customer services to room comfort.
Just were it was situated but very noisy would not be recommended
Not very clean very old hotel nobody smiled were not very welcoming had to ask yo change rooms no air conditioning and very very noisy
You really get your money's worth! I didn't expect much from the ratings and was only looking for a cheap place to stay and was pleasantly surprises. I shared a room with a friend and we got plenty of space with tow balconies!
The bathroom was kind of smelly (I guess due to the old age of the hotel) but we kept the balconies open and it was fine.
Oh my god unbelievable terrible
