Score from 464 reviews Very good
Featuring a restaurant and rooms with free Wi-Fi, the family-run Hostal la Campana is just a few metres from the border with Gibraltar.

Vista Real Apartments are in a quiet location, 10 minutes' walk from the beach and Alcaidesa Golf Course.
Score from 394 reviews Good
Excellent location for alternative to staying in Gibraltar, as short distance on foot to border. Lovely view from balcony to harbour and Rock, as well as welcome stroll along waterfront.
Long queues at coffee machines, which kept breaking down , but not a great worry.
Good selection at breakfast
Reception staff not very helpful. Room didn't smell very clean.
Clean friendly hotel nice food, friendly staff, nice junior suite with excellent views of the marina,
Wouldn't stay for a holiday as not really a resort area. couldn't really find any fault.
Location was good, easy level 10 minute stroll to the border, no need to use taxis or drive and another 10 minute easy walk to gibralter marina. Plenty of choice for the included breakfast. Under ground parking was ok once we found the entrance.
Empty mini bar in room, August prices were very high. Swimming pool looked great in the pictures, in reality it was more like a splash pool. We're given 2 room keys but only one worked, twice had it reprogrammed but still only 1 key worked, quite inconvenient as three of us in room.
close to border with Gibraltar, good clean facilities, nice restaurants nearby
Clean and functional rooms but no coffee or tea facilities.
Very plain and no atmosphere to encourage you to stay. Pool more like bathtub. Staff just not interested
We appreciated the fridge, air conditioning, spacious room and very clean facilities. We used the pool but did not take any food at the hotel as we opted for a no meal deal. The price was good for what we had.
Only that the bed was a little hard to sleep on. Once the balcony door was open the traffic noise was very loud.
Very help full staff at front desk and the stay was problem free and a very good breakfast .
Pillows only had one
Price is good for the hotel Nice swimming pool Walking distance from coach station, only 8 mins Walking to Gibraltar take 20 mins
Smoking smell in the room No kettle for tea and coffee
Quiet hotel, perfect location. Desk staff speak several languages are courteous friendly yet professional, hotel very clean, safe secure car park, value for money breakfast. My second stay & will stay again.
Location was great for visiting Gibraltar on foot. Nice clean comfortable rooms
Not very welcoming at reception and the lounges were very sparsely furnished.
Location, large spacious room, the beds were extremely comfortable. Reception staff were efficient and very friendly.
Restaurant was buffet and there was a function on in the other restaurant. Which was not a problem as we ate in a nearby restaurant.
The location and the view.
The pool is small, not as it looks in picture. The parking is more expensive than parking on the street.
Good for walking intoo Gibraltar. Huge garage parking.
The building itself was shabby with shopping lots not open and bricked up.
good air conditioning good views over harbour very comfortable bed pleasant Spanish speaking staff
small pool only 23 sunbeds uninviting pool area basic usual buffet food restaurant is a noisy indoor cafeteria no mention of where the beach is - 200 yards up the road
Location - close enough to walk to the boarder of Gibralter.
This hotel did not deserve the four star rating that it has. There were many things that could have been improved upon. The hotel was reminiscent of the 1980s.
More of a holiday hotel than business hotel however serves Gibraltar well for work trips as conveniently placed. Food is ok, unlikely to win awards but adequate and of reasonable quality good value for money.
Internet connection is really poor and really not good enough to work with.
Rich breakfast Good location for Gibraltar trip
Bad wifi connection (almost never connects). They should provide more basic information at the room (we could not find reception extension, for ex, and had to go downstairs to make a simple question).
Proximity to Gibraltar Sea View for extra £1
Had a issue on check out day with the door to the room not opening, was quickly resolved by the hotel staff
