Friendly staff. On request moved to a room with a double/kingside bed. Good shower. Very modern and clean. Ten minute stroll from Gibralter border. Bus station five minutes away.
Old fashioned 4:3 CRT television in the bedroom. Small screen and poor reception on very limited channels. Unable to find any radio channels via EPG. No tea/coffee making facilities. Cold plates at breakfast.
The reception staff were very helpful and very friendly.
Unless you pay for breakfast you annot get a cup of tea or coffee anywhere else! No room service only telepizza for takeaway food and vending machines for drinks and snacks.
LOCATION WAS FAB FOR GIBRALTAR. THE STAFF AT RECEPTION WERE FRIENDLY ESPECIALLY THE LADY.
ITS TRUE THAT THE POOL IS VERY SMALL, HOWEVER I DIDNT GO THERE FOR THE POOL SO OTHER THAN THAT WAS A GOOD STAY.
well equipped rooms, helpful staff,
noise from outside internet could only be accessed from the hotel lobby
the food was not very good at hotel
Only 500 metres to the Border with Gibraltar. Clean rooms which are cleaned daily. Great choice for Breakfast.
Poor Wi-Fi reception in room. Parking expensive at 10 Euros per day.
Close to border, nice outdoor pool
Rather grubby area, no on street parking, need to pay extra for security box, TV did not work
Close to the border and town was gteat fun
Breakfast was ok.
Location from airport, easy walk. Price was good, but you get what you pay for!
The area is rough, nothing to see really and rather unpleasant. Maybe 2+ star rating would be realistic for this hotel
We had a pleasant stay.
Location, Cleanliness and Price
Close to frontier. Under cover parking friendly staff
Was not pleased that hotel would not honour the price of my reservation via booking.com they said they did work with booking.com anymore They consequentially charged me more for each night reservation and extra for breakfast which was originally included. Internet was very poor in the room but okay by the lift would not connect to a VPN connection either you could just about pick up email via wi-fi
Mosquitos in room..also noisy corridors
Location, just a short stroll to Gibralter. The city of La linea I liked very much, its' bus station is around the corner of this hotel.
The pool area was rather featureless though not unpleasant. My balcony was in shade all day, which may suit some.
We had researched well and the hotel fitted all our expectations
there was nothing to dislike
Lovely view of the Rock.Easy walk to Gibraltar even with my 84year old father. We are going back in April for a return visit.Lovely clean room and comfortable beds!
everything from position, cleanliness and of course value for money.
there was nothing we did not like.
Location of hotel to gibraltar
Didn't think it rated 4 star
We liked the location of this hotel as we wanted to visit Gibraltar but the hotels we were interested in there were fully booked. This hotel was in Spain but just a 10 minute walk over the border from the airport. Price was good for the accomodation & location fab.
We couldnt sleep at all the first night as the beds(triple room) were the most uncomfortable we have EVER slept in-rock solid with springs poking into us(& my hubby is the type that could sleep on a bed of nails) The staff kindly changed our room to a double(we didnt mind sharing with our daughter,it was that bad!) it was better but still not good. Would I stay here again? No. Recommend it? Not unless you were on a budget.
Some breakfast are cold.
Everything was ok.
1) Location 2) Friendly Staff
1) didnt suit business group trip 2) had to pay extra for children staying in room sleeping on a sofa
high standard of finishing, free wifi, breakfast and cheap evening buffet.
Area around the hotel not great but stick to sea front and you're fine.
