new towels every day, great clean budget room frour our group of 4 (5 single beds in the one room - but enough space for everyones luggage etc), great views from our room on the top floor looking over the roof tops to the alhambra, and a heater to make our room nice and toasty, room also had a balcony - but no fridge. Hotel Atenas is in walking distance of everything in granada, catch bus 3 from the main rd near the train or bus station. There was no fridge in our room and no breakfast available at the hotel.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and had wireless available in each room. There was a small lobby. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. Location is also good. When we arrived the parking was full and we were told that we can only use it the day after. It is also pretty expensive, but for Granada city center may be ok. There was a leak in the toilet and although we report it and sb came to look at it they did not fix it. The water was leaking in the bathroom and made a mess. It was however not that disturbing!

I spent one night at the Atenas. Very good value budget accomodation along the main thoroughfare of Granada. Particularly appreciated the 24 hour front desk, as I arrived just after midnight because of a delayed flight to Malaga and was checked in with no problems by friendly reception, will definitely use again

Close to the center and la Alhambra. Unfriendly staff, very difficult to get there by car, no temporary parking to be able to check-in, the hostel's parking very narrow, only for self-confident drivers, the lift was not working, which made getting to the room very inconvenient, bedsheets dirty, probably not changed after the previous guests

The room was clean and comfortable and the location was very convenient - right in the centre of Granada, only a short walk from the casthedral and the Albaicin. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. Great value for money. The lift seemed to be a bit dodgy (we were on the 6th floor) and was out of order when we were leaving so we had to carry our luggage down six floors. They only seemed to have one set of towels, so between them taking them away and washing and drying them (which was actually unnecessary, as they weren't dirty) we were without towels. These are just minor criticisms thiugh and were far outweighed by the good points.

Parking was a joke. They made us park the car 'whereever', even if we blocked other cars, because they wanted to squize as many cars possible. The reception lady took our keys and whenever needed rearranged the cars. They charge for that 15euro/day. A joke! Rooms smelled really bad and the shower was really small - kids size.

Clean and good value if you want a cheap stay. Close to the city center and in the main avenue where most of the bus lines of Granada goes through - including those for Alhambra and the bus station.

We absolutely loved it!!!! The location was perfect - in the heart of everything. It was clean, the staff was very nice, and we didn´t pay a fortune. It was a short trip for us so we wanted to see as much as we could in a short period of time; had heard a few horror stories about hostals - we will definitely pass on the information for this place because it really was perfect and safe and well, we immensely enjoyed our whole experience in Granada!!!!!!

Excellent location on the Grand Via de Colon. Internet was quick and reliable. If you are looking for a place to just sleep, then this offers a good choice. Room smelt a bit from the downpipes when you first walk in, but clears up once the air conditioning gets going.

The unbeatable price of 25€ per night surprised us. Is very well located in the city center, but please don't take your car there. There's no parking at all, except if you pay for the basement park. There's wireless internet all over the hotel. The receptionist was very nice too, telling us tips about Allambra (buy your ticket at least one week in advance). From our balcony on the sixth floor we had an amazing view. Besides no parking around and no breakfast, the room in not exactly very confortable, but for a couple of nights and this price what could you expect?

The best part about Hostal Atenas is its location. 10 mins bus ride from the bus station and bang in the middle of Gran Via, it provides access to most of the city center within a close walking distance. There are also many restaurants and shopping area around. And to top it all, it was super inexpensive!
