Hotel in the city center
I do not recommend this hotel at all. Non welcoming personal Noisy room
Excellent Location at a reasonable price.
Small Rooms & price hike at the weekend & parking disturbing
The location was pretty good....
- The front desk spoke zero English, we had a rough time communicating at first. - Extremely poor wifi, I couldn't get internet access more than half the time - I stayed for two nights: the first night the room had a window facing the court yard so it was very gloomy looking. The same night the hotel decided to paint the wall right outside my door. The paint smelled so bad I had to switch rooms the next day. The next room was on the second floor with a really sunny court yard this time~ BUT IT HAD NO ELEVATOR! I had a lot of luggage and the stairs were kind of steep, so it was a big hassle.
location, cleanliness, bright bathroom
unbearable smell of naphthalene, tiny rooms
No parking place on the street, you need to take the hostal parking charged 17 Euro per day.
It's really clean. the location is just perfect. Great views. Nice staff.
Internet only works in mobiles not conmputers.
Clean room. Location in the city centre.
The facilities were very nice, if a bit conventional. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
good location, but the hostel share the life with other hostel. good choice for budget traveler though.
we arrived the hostel at 10am, we paid the room fee 25 euros but the front desk lady didn't give me the receipt. It was my fault that I didn't ask for the receipt immediately but I was really too tired when I took the 7am plane from BCN to Granada that morning. So when we checked out the other day, the other lady said we have to pay the room fee because their record showed that we haven't paid yet. We were panic and asked her to find the lady who helped us to check in. Luckily she was there but unluckily she said that she couldn't remember that we have paid. At first she insisted that we haven't paid, then I asked her to check the CCTV (but she said that's a fake thing) or check the til. How come they have more money in the til and they didn't realize it over night? Later the lady went to back office for a while then gave a ring to front desk and said they found out that we have paid. The other staff did apologize so we were not so angry about this issue. Anyway,if you see the front desk lady is busy chatting with others or not focusing on your check in, it's better for you to ask for a receipt immediately. It's just too typical.
I really liked the location of the hotel. On the main avenue and near the center of the city. The staff was very polite and nice.
There weren't towels at the moment of arrival in the room. I had to ask for them and it took them a while to bring them. I needed to shower before going for a walk, and I couldn't. There weren't amenities in the bathroom.
No breakfasts and no coffee/tea facilities in the room. No lounges/waiting area in the lobby.
The situation of the hostel is great. Our room was big enough and the mattres was OK. The romm was a bit noisy because of the Via Colon street and some guest.
The cleanliness can be better. We have to call the clean service when we arrived, the room wasn't finished (we founded nails!). If you want to let your luggage after your check-out you must pay 2 euros. There are other ways to get profits.
It was clean
It did not have towels in the bathroomwhen I went in to the room.
Location is perfect. The free walking tour of the city starts at the hotel everyday.
The hostal Atenas (floor 4 to 6) shares the elevator with the neighbor hostal Sofia, good luck catching that tiny little elevator to carry your luggage all the way to your floor ! The safety box isn't in the room, all the safety boxes are in the same a room, one floor under the reception and there is a 3 euro fee per day to use it.
My room had a wonderful view over the Gran Via Colon. Everything was clean and the staff were courteous.
My friend's room was very stuffy with no view and a window opening onto the vent chanel.
Good location, small but clean room.
My room had no window - it was quite depressing.
Nice big room with a balcony, in the city centre but very quiet.
There was no free parking.
good location, Room and rest room are clean. easy to go out and walk to Granvia in ten minutes.
The location was perfect; the beds were comfortable-the room had all the neccesities.
Very noisy, like someone is speaking in the room; not clean- especially the bathroom towels; AC had a smell of cigarettes in a non-smoking room; room service entering while there's Do Not Disturb sign
The room was very clean and quite spacious.
It is not really a hostel, as you don't have access to the kitchen, tourist activities or friendly common areas to spend time with other travellers. Not for backpackers. Stuff not especially intrested in creating the ambiance. The TV didn't work.
Location easy to find from train station
Double bedded room quite small
Central position.feels more than Hotel not Hostal.Great value for money!!
Noise from the central road in the morning.
Great location to visit Granada. The rooms are clean and safe and excellent value for money.
Lack of light in the room (tiny window). The noise in the hallways (loud doors and floors). This is not a hotel you book for charm but it's very practical.
Excellent location, Close to good food area,
