We enjoy city life and particularly the restaurants and shops. We love the Grand Hotel. We like the Charco area in an evening.
We loved the Puntilla Restaurant in Charco and the amazing buffet at the Grand Hotel - 30E pp great value given the extensive choices and quality available.

Arrecife hasn't got a lot going for it architecturally and doesn't have any 'must see' attractions. The marina development is nice but a leisurely visit still only takes up a couple of hours.
Of course, there are lots of cafes and restaurants and the usual quota of well known shops but we didn't find anything out of the ordinary.
None of the above spoiled our enjoyment of our visit but It's not somewhere you'd tell your friends they have to see.

It was an ideal spot for a first visit.
It was an ideal spot for a first visit. It was my second visit but first for my friend.
I was struggling with a knee injury so Arricfe being pretty flat was a great help.
We caught the run up to the Sardine burial festival and the procession . Wed have loved to have stayed longer.

Very relaxed city with lovely promenade and beach, eating houses and markets/ shops. Felt very safe. Great access to taxis and tours. Lots of bike / scooter / car rentals. Great marina area. Exceptionally clean and litter free. Great location for visiting the rest of the island. 6 minutes to the airport.

Not many attractions, and not a very pedestrian-friendly place. Some good food to be had, though. I saw stunning scenery in the interior but the city of Arrecife was not a memorable place to stay. .

Arrecife is nice city, and Lanzarote is great island.
Arrecife is nice city, and Lanzarote is great island. Something quite different. When you realize, that whole island is a product of a vulcanic activity, and everything there is basically a rock, it is unbelievable, that people live, and even thrive there.
There is lot to see. They have pretty good public transport, althought it took me a while to understand the timetable :), but if you really want to visit most of the tourist spots, you derfinitely need a car. Rent it from Cicar, they have great prices, and want no deposit.
And one tip from me. If you want a great hike, go to city of Maquez and take a "Camino del Gayo". Walk the RED hike, and after a mile, climb up to a cliff, and walk on the cliff for a 2 miles. There are beautiful views there. It is the same view you have from Mirador del Rio, only much much better and without tons of people. When I took the hike, I never met a soul, was all by myself, and a tremendous views.
It's a new, small hostel with lots of common spaces. The patio is very nice to spend some time in and the kitchen was well equipped. As it's a small hostel, it feels very homely. The staff was very kind and helpful. They even helped me in getting back one of my favorite dresses that I forgot in the hostel by sending it to Tenerife. The hostel is super close to the central bus station of Arrecife, which is nice if you want to explore different parts of the island.
I booked a tent for 5 nights on the balcony and this hostel is one of the best experience I've ever made!
I made a mistake and haven't booked my first night, but it was no problem to book extra. I called them at 9pm and they helped me direcrly.
The hosts are very kind and friendly and gave me a lot of secret tips for Lanzarote.
At this hostel, there is everything you need and it was also very clean.
Muchas gracias Daniel y Melisa 🙏🙏🙏
Comfortable, super clean apartment in the centre of Arrecife. Close to shops and many nice restaurants.
Very quiet building and area. Best of all was the very friendly host Bernardino who gave us valuable information about all the sights on the island and how to avoid long queues at the popular sights. Thank you Bernardino for helping us getting the most out of our stay on the island!👌
I can't add anything new to all the positive comments this place gets. Arrecife is a real town not just a resort, and for me that was a positive. Its location "half way" along the coast meant that all points of interest were within a 30 min drive on easy roads. The apartment was lovely to come home to after a day of exploring. And the cleaners are exemplary!
Only stayed one night before travelling around Lanzarote, but what a great find. 5 minutes walk from the bus station 3 minutes walk from the waterfront bars and restaurants of Arrecife. Clean room for €40 with private bathroom and comfy bed along with a great kitchen set up for self catering. Super friendly staff. Happy to recommend to others.
free private parking, easy access, extremely responsive and helpful host, very clean and spacious property with all the details. it was like a hotel with pretty folded towels, plenty of shampoo and soap, a breakfast tray, a wine bottle (we didn’t end up drinking it), beach toys for the kids, laundry and dryer! looks exactly like photos.
It is a reasonable choice, an acceptable compromise between quality and cost, if you want to stay in Arrecife a few days (I would not stay there longer, other parts of Lanzarote are far more beautiful in my opinion).
The room was good, also the sea view.
Very close to the beach, also close to the bus interchange station.
This flat in Lanzarote was an absolutely fantastic experience. The location was perfect. The flat itself was extremely comfortable, with all the amenities you could need. The kitchen was fully equipped and the balcony was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views. I would highly recommend this flat to anyone.
Everything was perfect and I the staff behaved exemplary.
The apartment is close to the bus station, to the beach and supermarkets. Very easy to get there from the airport.
It was a very nice experience. If I would go back to Lanzarote definitely I'll take in consideration this apartment first.
The location is truly excellent being right on the waterfront with the beach directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with multiple choices available for guests. The bedroom was amazingly clean and very comfortable.
Loved the location of the hotel. It was our first time visiting Lanzarote and the staff were extremely helpful and provided every bit of local and touristic information. The breakfast was amazing - overall good value for money!
The best place to stay! It's perfect if you want to spend a couple of days or a couple of months.
You will have everything you need and even more. Super location. Very clean. Very cozy.
Our flights were cancelled and we had a rough few days in poor accommodation and this was the perfect way to end our stay in Lanzarote. The children loved it, it was quiet and clean
Fantastic stay at this very clean well priced hotel. Everything I needed for the night provided good shower and comfortable bed. Certainly will be back in future highly recommend
