Hotel Avenida  

ocatiob - good food especially for my wife who has to folow a strict gluten -free diet. The buffet tpye meals are ideal for her with a good selection,

lifts are inadequate and slow for the large numbers of guests, we often had to wait for availibitity .

The hotel is situated in the Old Town Benidorm and is situated well for beach ,shopping and nightlife, the latter made the room noisy late into the night. The hotel staff were excellent and very accommodating especially as my electric wheelchair wouldn't fit into the very narrow lift, offering me a wheelchair from reception to my room and assisting with luggage. Henry, upon meeting us at reception and seeing tthe wheelchair set about changing our allocated room for a larger one, which was not only appreciated but showed disability awarness, something rare amongst young people, holiday hotels and Spain. Our room on first appearence was very disapointing as the furniture is old and tired, however, it was ammazingly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, this together with a much larger than average bathroom made for a very comfortable stay. Wheelchair users who are confined to a wide chair or electric chair will have difficulty as the lifts are extremely narrow, however, if you can transfer to an ordinary wheelchair reasonably easily, reception are happy to loan you one to allow access to your room. The hotel has a 4* rating and it has clearly acheived this by it's facilities, pool, sauna, etc. and not by it's overall appearence which is that of a reasonable 2*. All in all a good a nice place to stay but vastly over priced for B & B.

Su tranquilidad y su entorno cercano a todo.La amabilidad del personal y su buen hacer

Los canales de la television.Hoy en dia se deberian de ver mas canales y los ascensores que son pequeños.

Las instalaciones, la comida, que no tiene parking...

el unico problema de este hotel son las habitaciones individuales.pero el personal del hotel es excelente,es lo que mas me ha gustado del hotel.

La situación, esta en pleno centro de la ciudad y muy cerca de la playa.

La habitación que nos dieron no es de la categoria de un cuatro estrellas, pequeña, cutre y deteriorada, daba a un patio interior sin luz. Las camas incomodas de muelles la decoración muy antigua, daba un aspecto en general muy descuidado.No tiene parking propio , el acceso en coche es complicado ya que la calle es peatonal.La comida muy de batalla y poca calidad.En general, deja bastante que desear para ser un cuatro estrellas.

Ubicación.

No dispone de parquing ni de suficientes plazas concertadas con otro parquing cercano.Las habitaciones estan muy deterioradas.Sanitarios muy anticuados.Necesita una reforma URGENTE.Las fotos que muestran de las habitaciones no se corresponden con la realidad o deben estar retocadas.Los ascensores son muy lentos.Insuficientes para el volumen de gente que mueve este hotel en temporada alta.Parece hasta mentira que se trate de un hotel de cuatro estrellas.He visto hoteles de dos estrellas bastante mejores.No lo recomendaría.

The hotel is well positioned. Just around the corner to the beach and very close to the Old Town. It is right in the middle of the shopping centre which is handy. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Because of the position of the hotel, I.E. in the centre of it all, it is very noisy at night (I.E. close bars and young people walking past in the early hours and singing etc!). We have stayed there before and were well prepared with our ear plugs! The food isn't spectacular, but it's ok. But we tend to swap our dinner for lunch and go out in the evening. However, breakfast is good and they provide a good selection for a full english!
