My friends wanted to stay there because it was in a quite location but not too far from Las Ramblas. There is a outside cafe around the block on Las Ramblas with the best Sangria. The Manager recommended the best Flamenco show on Las Ramblas I have ever seen. The dancers were magnicent. Don't miss it. Takes about 25 minutes to walk but the walk is so much fun.So much to see along the way. There was no one to help with our luggage when we arrived. We had a hard time opening the doors with our keys and had to keep asking the maid to open it. If you want a quiet hotel away from it all its fine. Needs updating but the room is nice. Would have preferred a hotel right on Las Ramblas where all the fun and people gather.

Very nice hotel, excellent location walking distance to both the Gothic Quarter and the Modernist architecture of Gaudi, a couple of blocks to Las Ramblas. The room was small but comfortable, bathroom was spacious, modern, and sparkling. The hotel offers 1/2 hour of free internet per day. Staff speak English and are helpful. Breakfast was mediocre, not worth even half the 18 Euros. Staff are fairly distant, not very friendly.

The location is great, close to everything. The lobby is beautiful and comfortable to lounge in. Perfect for photos. Actually we were surprised at how nice it is and the hotel is very clean and well run. The resturant menu. We ordered sea bass and it was not fully cooked. On the plate it looked awful and it was not eaten. The waiter did not ask if there was a problem but I'll bet he knew. The other meal was diced chicken and it was no great shakes either. Other than that everything else was great.

Very friendly and helpful staff especially bar/dinng room staff. The food was good and room was very comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel was ideal for sightseeing and very central. It would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room

We stayed in the hotel over the weekend. Excellent location, got the Blue bus from the airport to placa catalunya and hotel was only a 5 min walk which was excellent. Hotel itself was beautiful, the room was perfect for two, massive double bed and big bathroom. Perfect location. Metro stop right outside. Perfect.

Convenient location and accessible to tourist information office, easy to get to tubes n rail. Many tourist sights around area. Easy to get to hotel from airport using airport bus shuttle n stops at last stop which is 5 mins walk to hotel. Love the hotel location. Fantastic！ Free wifi only at lobby for 30 mins but can request for new access code thereafter . Front office staff need to smile more, including porter. No free bottled water in room

Location, lobby decor, efficient staff, all good, commensurate with a top hotel. As someone with cholesterol problems, the breakfast offering contained very little that I could eat. Most breakfast buffets offer some kind of fish or potatoes, and there was none of either, so the breakfast buffet turned out for me to be practically a continental breakfast. The elevators are very slow, but that was a minor inconvenience. Also, Wifi was over 20 euros extra for the day, an insult to business travelers in a top hotel. It's fine for a quick business stop, but it would take very little for the hotel to make the few improvements that would make it a lot better.

- location (in front of subway stop "pl. de gracia"), close to city center and other locations like la rambla - beautiful hotel - cheap (had a room for 4 nights with a cheap deal) - Wifi only available per 30 min at the lobby, price for wifi in the room was way too expensive - no water cooker

My visit was to go to Canadian consulate at Placa Catalunya and it was so wonderfully located only a block away! Price was good, 74.5 euros, 4 Star, very comfortable but not too pretentious to enjoy!

Great location, one block from Plaza Cataluyna. Very convenient for walking everywhere. The walls were quite thin so you could hear the neighbors. Breakfast is overpriced. Junior suite had two single beds pushed together. Hotel needs updating.

The hotel was described in the confirmation from booking .com as elegant and air conditioned. It was neither. I did vt mind the lack of elegance but the lack of air condition spoiled our first trip to Barcelona. I asked at reception if anything could be done about the heat and I was told no. It was only when I came home I realised the booking stated air condition. Because of the location of the room even with the window opened it was impossible to get any air. We are not people to make a fuss but the heat was unbearable and I would nt like to experience it in the summer. Thank you. Mary o Donnell

The place, where it is located is perfect!!! Great staff, people are very friendly and always help! They took our luggage, they allowed us to eat breakfast, even when the restaurant was closed. People who work their are great!!! We heard all the sounds of the street. No Russian channels on tv.
