Lovely staff, very central, good wifi, great place for a city break
Nothing was really bad. Rooms are mega small but you know that on booking. Breakfast to expensive. Not much selection of beers in bar.
Everything was good.
The bed was so small.
The hotel is good, clean, very confortable and very well located in the Gothic area very close to the Ramblas. The room has enough space for 2 people and the beds were very good.
There was an incident that troubled us. On our second day at the hotel we arrived from our tour very late around 10 P.M and very tired of walking, when we tried to use the card in the room´s door, it did not work, naturally I wen´t to the reception to ask for a new key, which again did not work, only we found out that there was a problem with the key lock which took them 1 full hour to fix and allow us to get into the room, during this time we had to wait outside the room and watch them trying to fix it. I understand problems can happen, but when we asked if we could at least have breakfast free of charge on the next day, the answer was that they had no fault in what just happened and so did not offer us any type of compensation for that trouble. The breakfast is too much expensive, for the price of 1 person you can have breakfast for 2 in any coffee shop close by.
The rooms are extremely small. And they are really noisy, you hear everything what happends in your neighbours room!!
Good and well equipped gym
Location, rooms, service.
Suspicious persons in the streets at night.
The location is great !
The lift did not work and biped all night. Many guests were very annoyed !
We have been in Barcellona for a long weekend And we have choose this hotel....everything ....the location, the room, the service and the staff....it's a 3 star hotel but for me it's like 4 star....the room was quite....the bed very confortable.
Location and bed were amazing
No window and hot AC only
Bathroom was stinking It was in januari to warm in the room. There was no way no make a bit cooler in the room. It could not go lower than 18,5 C. But it felt like it was 24 C in the room.
My room doesn't have window
The staff was very nice and always willing to help or give advice on where to go and what to do. Well prepared with a good command on several languages.
The interior is very clinical and unwelcoming, outdated furniture, felt more as a two star!
The room view was bad
fantastic location, close to attractions, restaurants and metro station; good value for money; friendly reception
bedroom & bathroom are very small, but equipped with necessities. would be good to have basic kettle & tea/coffee facilities in room.
Location is very close to Metro station Liceu, and 3 mins walking distance to La Boqueria, which is one of my favorite places in Barcelona. Staffs are professional and helpful, room was nice and clean. The toilette was big with huge mirrors.
only the bed. I was in a twin room and the bed was really light in weight and it keeps moving if u r in the middle of the beds.
Location couldn't be more perfect. Staff very helpful. Got me another room after I complained about my room (see 'What didn't you like).
Spent the first night in a room with bad smell (sewage-like) and without windows. Expensive breakfast (16EUR pr meal, 40EUR for 4 nights).
Excellent location, good value for money, great hotel with all facilities needed for a short city break in Barcelona
Only tiny negative point, when using the shower we managed to get a lot of water on the bathroom floor!
Great location The second room we got was very nice, clean and spacious, and had a window. Staff was very helpfull and understanding, and we were able to switch rooms on the first morning.
Our first night was pretty bad due to a problem with the heating devices and the lack of window in the room. Staff tried to help us with a portable fan (very noisy) as we were waiting for another room to be available. For the price, I find it unacceptable to get a room with no window. The hotel did not propose to get a discount for that first night, too bad.
We had a windowless room which initially worried us, but there was zero noise, very comfortable beds and we slept incredibly well for 4 nights.
It was great for our requirements.
The location is very convenient and quiet. The service from the staff member made us feel very comfortable. We were there for 7 days. In the middle, we started to have a neighbour who were noisy, so we asked the hotel whether we could change to another room. The hotel changed our room without any hesitation.
The wireless is slower compare to the hotels where I lived before but still sustainable.
1) The location is really great. Most of the sights were within 20 minutes walking distance. The metro stops are two minutes away. Bars, restaurants, shops all around us. Really cool. 2) The staff is very friendly, helpful. 3) The hotel itself is very comfortable asks clean.
1) The rooms seemed a bit over heated. But it bothered us only at night...for 5 minutes before we crashed off to sleep like logs.
Access to wifi in the room. Less than 5 minutes to metro station.
Wifi is not good enough according to the high price.
Location is superb, right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, which, in my opinion, is exactly where you should stay in Barcelona. Close to the subway, easy to get around, and the best place for nightlife. The hotel staff was super helpful. We left some items in our hotel in Seville and had it shipped there overnight. Our package was waiting for us in our room when we got back from sightseeing. We also had an early morning flight and the staff called a cab for us and spoke with the cab driver to make sure he understood what terminal we needed to go to. Awesome rooftop.
Rooms were a little smaller than I am used to and no ice machine (we had to go to the bar to get ice), but this is probably normal in Europe. I'm just used to American hotels.
The location is superb Staff super friendly (loads of recommendations on places to eat and visit) Cleaned regularly Would revisit 100%
We arrived on a Friday night and like with any hotel in a centre of a city there was a bit of noise but nothing major.
