Axor Feria  

Booked this hotel because it offered free transfers to and from airport. Had to wait nearly an hour for pick up and when arrived at hotel there was a long queue to check-in. Then told the bus we needed back to the airport in the morning was full. Hotel staff ordered a taxi at our request which cost nearly 20 euros - half the cost of our hotel stay. When we left in the morning there was no sign of the hotel courtesy bus in use and we doubted that it was running at all. This treatment is not representative of the service offered and we would not use it again or recommend it.

The staff was very rude. They said they have a shuttle service to the airport untill 12.00 but at 11.45 they all said it's to late because they were to lazy to make for me a last ride. Everybody said I did'nt saw the last minibus ore something and that they doesn't care .. I am very dissapoited for how they handled this ..

One of the best value for money hotels, friendly and helpful staff and location. 10 minutes from airport and hotel and picked up by hotel courtesy bus. 5 minutes walk from the hotel is a bus stop which you can take to the Metro and the bus drops you off right outside where you get a train into Madrid for 1 euro 50 cents. If you don't wish to go into Madrid city center then 5 minutes walk away ( out of hotel,turn right, walk to the roundabout )and then right again) is a commercial center and one of the biggest I have ever encountered. . there are countless shops too many to mention ,and the top floor is dedicated to bars and restaurants , cinemas, children's funfair etc.. At the weekend it is opened until 3.00 am. Also nearby is a local Irish Bar where you also eat from the extensive menu and next door is a Trattoria..this is our second visit to Axor Fertia and will most certainly use the hotel again .also the free use of laptops and free wi-fi is a bonus. Breakfast for 10 euros is also excellent value.

It is qute close to the airport and has a hotel shuttle service. Also a handy taxi rank outside the front door. Room very comfortable and clean, and free WiFi for internet access. The restaurant (in next door partner hotel) served a great dinner, but a very basic breakfast.

The WiFi has some sort of sever firewall that meant I couldn't send email, just receive. No business centre, gym/pool, baths in room, restaurant on premises, iron in room or laundry service. Also no food in minibar, just some drinks.

Clean, comfortable and spacious.

Being an Airport type hotel 24 hour services need to be available for travelers. There is minimum if NO catering for late travelers or early morning overnight stay. No coffee in the rooms or food in the hotel during after hours. The hotel is not located near restaurants or shopping centers.

Shuttle bus. To airport very reliable. Easy walking to shopping mall.

We liked that it was inexpensive, modern, very clean and organized. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The computer availability was excellent. The environment was very businesslike and professional. We like the openness, spaciousness and white color which enhances the spaciousness. The furniture is modern and very comfortable.

No dislikes. This hotel exceeded all of our expectations.

- Very modern, clean look and facilities. Close to Airport (but costs Euro 15-25 by Taxi to get there from Airport at night as there is no Hotel Shuttle at night). Free hotel shuttle from Hotel to Airport every 30 mins (except late night). Free Wireless Internet and several very good desktop computers setup all over the hotel for Guests to use for free if you did not carry your own Laptop, iPad etc.

Shuttle drivers quite rude (No one was giving them tips may be that's why).

Close to the Barajas Airport for early flight. Complimentary Shuttle Bus to and from airport. Reasonable Hotel price. Very Clean Helpfull Front Desk Staffs Friendly Front Destk Staffs Modern hotel Quiet area, and safe to walk around.

No Tea or Coffee maker in the room nor in the lobby. No mini fridge. No Local restaurants nearby.

Best located hotel for driving to and away from Madrid Barajas Airport. Efficient and very fast transfer bus to airport included in price

Great hotel near the airport with modern conveniences and no airport noise. Clean, modern, fast Internet connection, free airport shuttle.
