As 3 pilgrim backpackers from the U. S. A. doing the Camino de Santiago, the 2-day stay was a luxurious hiatus in our pilgrimage. We were treated with great respect and the receptionists made us feel like valuable customers regardless of our garb! Our sincere thanks for such a high class staff so well selected and so willing to be helpful at all times!

What is there not to like? You have achieved perfection! Please remain with your high standards and you'll never need to change.

Not a single thing.

The gym was poorly equipped and insufficient for such a prestigious hotel.

The room was awesome,especially the colored lights on the wall above the bed. The architecture of the entire complex is amazing. This is one of the coolest hotels we have ever stayed in.

The layout of the bathroom was a little difficult, but it in no way detracted from our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this archeticural masterpiece. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The furnishings were interesting as well. The weather was terrible during our stay, so it was great to have access to the shopping centre behind the hotel to keep us occupied. Because of the weather we spent more time in our room than otherwise normal. So it was great to have such a lovely room.

One of the craziest designed buildings. If you want to see a modern sculptured building its worth a visit and stay. Lovely little city. A great place for a short stop over.

We just loved the whole experience of staying in such a modern hotel. The buffet breakfasts were fantastic!!

In British hotels there is always a kettle, cups, tea bags and sachets of coffee and sugar so that you can make a drink whenever you wish. We always miss this in European hotels.

Ayre Hotel Oviedo has stunning architecture by Calatrava, friendly service, overall incredible value for money.

Could be a little more space for luggage and chairs in room are more stylish than comfortable.

In general, it was perfect: nice room with a great view, good location, good facilities, good price, friendly staff, very good restaurant...

On Sunday evening the bar/coffee shop was closed, although the info posted indicated otherwise. On Monday night the person working at the bar/coffee shop was unprofessional (the opposite to the person who had been taking care of us all the previous nights).

This hotel is amazing, like something from 125 years into the future. The guys on reception were helpful from beginning to end and really good humoured too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone lucky enough to visit the gorgeous city of Oviedo

Ayre Hotel was impressive. It was very good value for money.

Large and clean suite for 4 people with a lounge area. Walking distance to the city. Did not get breakfast with so many Good cheap cafes nearby. Shopping mall underneath with supermarket. Oviedo is a beautiful and clean city and you can walk everywhere. We visited family so stayed for a week. Travellors should stay for 1-2 days to see the city and move on to the Asturias coast.

You either love or hate the building. It looks like the Star Ship enterprise has landed!! This has no effect on the quality of the hotel.

I think you should go more into the sustainability, CSR and ecologic trend, not because it is a trend, but because it is the right thing to do. I like the design and the open areas - the white universe helps you relaxand feel united with the rooms. Excellent altogether! Kind regards Marth Elias

The design from outside-in is amazing!

The quirky building and the ultra modern design of fixtures. It was a bit like an adventure every day discovering something new.

Spotlessly clean and functional with helpful staff comfortable room and excellent breakfast

This is a cool, futuristic hotel with comfortable rooms, good breakfasts and great staff. Excellent double bed (after paying 10 Euros a night extra for a superior room - they had us down for a twin room) and very good bathroom (though they're a bit mean with the soap (one tiny bar between two and it wasn't refreshed one day - they clearly thought there was still enough left for the second day). There are two showers though, a walk-in one and one in the bath along with his and hers/his sinks.

I should have specified a double bed on booking as when we arrived they had allocated us a twin room. The only way we could get a double was by paying an extra 10 Euros a night for the 4 nights, which I was unhappy about. Looking back at the booking it says double/twin so I really shouldn't have had to pay the extra. Parking is a bit of a pain anywhere in Oviedo. We chose to park on the street in front of the hotel and had to get up earlyish to put money in the meter. The other option is in the underground car park shared with the shopping mall next to the hotel.
