Hordes of wasted German youth coming in for drug&drunk tournees. Banging on the doors and shouting in corridors during returns at 5am seems like a custom. We also had a bottle of vodka smashed on our terrace and somebody vomiting there from upper floors.
The hotel is unfortunately tolerating this kind of activities, probably due to the fact, that these guests leave lots of money buying alcohol in the hotel bar. About 25% of guests are older people and families with kids, which can be observed through frequency by breakfast, when the drunk teenagers are still sleeping. About 12:00 they wake up, cure the hangover and start over again.
Actually there are many hotels in Playa marked as "Adults only", whereas it should be marked "Grown-ups only". Not surprisingly, the age metric is definitely not the right determinant on the quality of behaviour.
The hotel has good location, near end of Playa de Palma. By public transport it is possible to visit Palma or Aquarium, which are both worth seeing. The rooms are comfy, with working air conditioning, moderately quiet (sometimes you hear neighbours flushing toilet), kept clean. The food (breakfasts and lunch-dinner) is repetitive, but tasty. There is enough variety, to choose a different thing to eat every day. Personnel is German- and English- speaking, helpful and reliable. The swimming pool is small and with more than 3 people swimming it gets crowded.
