The Hostal Aznaitin is a great find in Baeza! The star rating is only 2-stars, but could easily be 3. The hotel is on the inside edge of the old city, so walking anywhere is no problem. We asked for a room with a balcony, and were given a fabulous rooms with 2 balconies; one with a view of the bell tower of the cathedral, and the other with a view of the mountains in Cazorla national park. The room itself wasn't huge, but very modern and clean. The large bed was very nice, and the bathroom was great. Breakfast was also very good for a couple of days. The staff is also extremely helpful and willing to assist with any asked. Definitely a great little place in Baeza! Nothing. Thanks!

Clean, modern facility just outside the historic area of Baeza. Would recommend spending a few euros more for the junior suite, which was spacious. Noise of other guests, notably crying children and an alarm clock in another room which went off and was quite audible.

Everything, a very good Hostal The Parking, the streets are to small to park or only for residents. A parking garage is nearby and cost € 10 / day.

Friendly staff. Good buffet breakfast included in the price. Air-conditioning. Clean. Comfortable bed. Could not see much from our room because one window was very small and at ground level and the other was in the ceiling.

Very pleasant hostal, with spacious and nicely designed rooms. Great value for money and just a few minutes walk from the center. There was a free parking not far away and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was a buffet with sandwiches, cereal, and the usual coffee/juice. The new corridor floors were squeaking very loudly when walked on. From one of our rooms (209) we could heard loud and very prolonged (at least a minute) bell ringing several times from a nearby church. At check-out there was a problem processing any of three different credit cards (visa / Mastercard).

The hostal was very well designed, very modern and the breakfast was excellent. I was particularly impressed by the help I received from the young lady in Recepcion. The room was a little small, but this is understandable since this is a hostal and not a 3 or 4 star hotel.

New hotel, modern furniture. Very close to city center. Parking easy to find in the surroundings. Breakfast with home made food. Welcoming staff. It is possible to taste and buy local olive oil. The bed was smaller than the usual. Memory foam mattress - comfortable, but hot in summer.

Lovely relaxing pool area. Close walking distance to main touristy activities & sights. Nice quiet location with comfy bed although the bed frame can be painful if you forget about the Nordic design & you bump your shins! Excellent value for money, with a free, but simple, brekky included. Other than the bed there was nothing that we did not like.

This is a great hotel in a lovely town. We were only here one night but wished we had planned for longer. Very reasonable prices, great breakfast with lots of choices, new, modern decor, friendly, helpful staff, very clean , very close to the old town and restaurants and a lovely little pool. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

This is a new Hotel that looks traditional on the outside but inside is all mod cons. Very well situated within easy walking of all one wants to see (3 minutes from the cathedral) yet with free parking fairly readily available in the streets outside. Our satnav found it easily. It had excellent Wi Fi in the rooms. The rooms were spacious, decorated in a modern, minimalist way with everything one might need. Comfortable beds, good storage, a desk, a chair and a telly. The bathroom was also spacious with everything - a super shower, hairdryer and toiletries. Our room had a balcony overlooking the nice pool (still closed for winter). Our room was quiet. Unusually for a lot of Spain breakfast was provided free and was quite excellent and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. There was a lift. I would certainly stay again and would much look forward to it because Baesa is a very special wonderful place and so is Hotel Aznaitin

New hotel in a quiet area on the edge of the old town. Rather tardis-like the small facade of this building opens onto 22 rooms, a breakfast room, small gym and outside pool. Rooms are remarkable value, (we paid £18pppn b&b.) and are well furnished and equipped. Good bathroom with double shower cubicle. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was typically spanish buffet-style. This hotel ticked all the boxes. Highly recommended. Within easy walking distance are several good restaurants. Baeza itself is well worth the effort with a wealth of renaissance buildings. Don't rely on the Tourist Office for any information, absolutely useless. Try the one in nearby Ubeda. Baeza perches on a ridge which commands fantastic views south as far as the Sierra Nevada. If you fancy stretching your legs there are plenty of waymarked walks in the nearby Sierra Maginal or the Cazorla Natural Park.

The Hostel Aznaitin is a very nice small hotel in a very good position to explore the old town of Baeza. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very pleasent and kept spotlessly clean by the staff. It also had a nice view of the cathedral bell tower. We have no complaints - just one observation! The base of the bed has a wooden surround which protrudes the mattress at the foot of the bed by a few centimetres at just about shin height so be careful when moving around the room or alternatively pack a pair of "Shin Pads"!!
