El Hotel Campos de Baeza has a summer rooftop pool with spectacular views of the Guadalquivir Valley and Baeza Cathedral. The town's historic center is a 10-minute walk away.
Score from 580 reviews Good
Located in the world heritage site of Baeze in deep Andalusia, this elegant hotel perfectly blends the Renaissance style with modern design and comforts. Dine in the fabulous restaurant.
Score from 26 reviews Very good
The hotel is housed in a Renaissance-Gothic building from the 16th century, and is one of the town´s most important and emblematic buildings, that was originally the Count and Countess' (Salcedos´)...
Score from 185 reviews Very good
Originally a 16th century convent for The Nuns of the Carmelitas order, this hotel rests in the historic quarter of Baeza, a dreamlike place where time seems to stand still.
Score from 380 reviews Very good
Ideally situated for visiting , if a bit tricky to reach by car. No parking outside but street parking in street to side of hotel. Charming attic type room good shower room, pleasant staff . Good bar of same name in street parallel. Great place for a cheap G & T and tapas!
Only one hitch, the support for the shower was broken, so had to hand hold to wash, a bit of a fiddle!
Good location, price and quality.
1. The pool did not open until our last day, 18 June, even though the weather had been good for some time. This fact was not made clear in advance. 2. Only after we had left did we discover that our credit card payment had been taken in GB pounds rather than euros. This increased the cost - we should at least have been given the option.
The accomodation was everything that other reviewers have highlighted. If the standard is maintained and the price remains the same you would find it difficult to find a better value hotel
The breakfast was not sensational but extremelely reasonably priced.
Beautiful town and buildings
Stench and smoke from olive oil factory ruined it. If any respiratory problems avoid baeza!!
Very good location, close to the cathedral. Buffet breakfast.
Close to old town and to good views over the valley.
Comfortable, modern room. Quiet location
No soap or shampoo shelf in shower and as what the hotel provides are in packets, this was an inconvenience. Average breakfast.
Superb location Friendly staff Nice decor Excellent value for money
Hostal Aznaitin is very well located. It is close to Baeza's main attractions and restoration areas. The hotel serves a good breakfast for a competitive price, although such information is not available in booking and it is impossible to book room and breakfast together. They offer free olive oil tasting, which is a plus, given Baeza is within one of the most prominent olive oil production areas in Spain, therefore oils are rich and unique. Besides, it is possible to buy the oils directly from the hotel at very competitive prices.
Parking in Baeza is a nightmare, and given Hostal Aznaitin has no parking lot, the problem is even worse. The region is particularly chilly during winter; we had problems turning the heating on, and the bathroom has an exhaust vent which lets the air in, worsening the problem.
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and no doubt we will use it again when visiting the area. It's in a great position for exploring the delights of the historical city of Baeza. Although the rooms are not huge, they are very nicely appointed and the bathroom was great. The staff are very friendly and helpful when enquires were made. The breakfast was a good continental style with plenty to choose from.
Can't think of a thing!!
This was our second visit, and nothing has changed - still an amazing place for the price. It's small, but smart and wi-fi is excellent, Baeza is great, we love it! Should be used as an example to any old fashioned place that wonders why tourists aren't booking.
Bathroom was a bit cold - no heating in there. Breakfast is okay, but not as good as some other places we've stayed in nearby - a few more choices for those of us who are gluten free would be good!
Location was great - very central but quiet.
The appalling smell from the bathroom! Sewer problem made worse by a horrible air freshener. Smell kept me awake that night. Bed was not comfortable.
Hotel was spotlessly clean. Rooms were well designed with adequate storage space and facilities.
Air conditioning switched on automatically during the night.
Great beds, good breakfast
Very nice little hotel. Despite being in the middle of the old town, the interiors were modern with the best quality. All in all, a great experience.
good value for the money. great location, ithin walkng distance to everything.
Location was good, pretty close to anything you'd like to see, stuff was helpful, room was very clean and comfortable, bathroom great. You can park for free not far away from the hotel, but it was hard to discuss with the stuff due to a bit limited English on their part. I just did it and it worked.
TV made an annoying wistling noise when the sound was on, impossible to watch unless the air cond. was on (which just made its own, louder noise). Take notice that Baeza is kinda tourist trap, good for staying maybe 1-2 days max. (as a base for Ubeda and surroundings)
Everything about this hotel is excellent and it thoroughly deserves its high ratings. We could leave a large bag of perishables in the fridge of the hotel's kitchen.
Not having hot water one morning. This was due to a 'human failure'. I very reluctantly mention this... intend to keep the hotel on its toes.
Nice room, nice people, good breakfast, location very well.
An excellent beginning to a cultural journey of andalusia. Super competent staff - proud of their home and well informed. Nice little swimming pool. For the modest price top accommodation.
nothing much really to say in the negative. Some onsite refreshments maybe after the long journeys that many have behind them. Parking a bit of a problem.
