Hostal Maestre is centrally located next to Córdoba’s Fine Art Museum and a 5-minute walk from the Mezquita. It has free Wi-Fi, and most rooms are set around typical Andalusian garden patios.

The room was big and bed too. Hotel was quiet.
Staff not friendly, the hotel was very dark, the room was not clean specially the ceiling fan (disgusting) and the bathroom was dirty. And the heater didn't work. Was very cold.
Very bad standard of accomodation, bathroom, bed, bed line, no air conditioner, no WIFI,
We were in this hotel in october 2014, I and my husband. Hotel is located at the center of the city and have so so beauterful patio andalus. Our room was clean and big. We had wifi in our room.
Location in the middle of La Juderia. Close to all highlights, restaurants. Very cheap price. They clean the room everyday. Silent area to sleep well.
Basic room. Wifi not very strong. Old furniture, not much light. You can hear other guests, but if they are respectful, everyone keeps silence.
The hotel is located right in the middle of the old section of town and most attractions can easily be reached by foot. No noises coming in from the streets. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
The room was very basic. Lights didn't work properly and the shower stall needs updating. WiFi was OK most of the times, but late at night it would just quit.
Location was great to walk around the city, to all historic sites. The owner (i guess) was a kind, nice person.
No problem with hot water or hair dryer but bathroom needs to be renewed.
This was my second visit, chosen again because I love the central yet quiet cul de sac setting of the Arabic building, which allows you easy access to all the tourist attractions, but also no passing traffic/people ensures a quiet night's sleep... with it's open central patio, all the rooms benefit from cool night air, as well as lovely views of the fountain and surrounding plants. The shabby chic ambiance of the Hostel suit us very well.
Family business with great service
Bathroom a bit too small.
I loved the fact that the building was over 100 years old it had lots of character and features.
We had trouble with the door to our room it was difficult to open, from the inside. The very narrow road leading to the hotel, and lack of parking close by.
The room is dirty hostal has old building bathroom is really really dirty and room smells bad it was disgusting
Good location, tidy and clean room. The ambiance and style of the building is also nice. The facility and amenities are enough even though quite basic.
Poor quality of internet inside the room. The main bulb doesn't work hence it is not comfortable to see everything in dim light at night.
The bedroom smelt of damp, the bathroom had no ventilation. The bedroom was dated and the warder smelt funny.
Location is good.here is only for sleeping.there is no breakfast,no genial staff,no much lux rooms.
Staff is not very helpful or friendly.
Great location and value for money. Clean and safe. Good shower.
Old and warn rooms but clean. Bathroom very small.
Great Moroccan style decor. Friendly owner. Very helpful. Would stay there again.
Maintenance could be better. Light bulbs not working, broken taps but a small price to pay as the ambience was so great.
Simplicity and cordiality of the staff
WiFi connection does not cover the 1 floor room
Lovely doors opening onto patio.
Not enough toiletries
I like the location. It's not so far from train station (20 minutes walking), the Mezquita (8 minutes), the City Center (8 minutes). The room and the hostel was clean and the owners were really nice. The building was antique with a nice patio.
There's only one plug in in the room, and another one in the bath room. It's hard to charge our phones and cameras altogether during yhe night. We cannot pay by credit card.
There wasn't window in the room
Nice hotel in the center of old town with own "patio". Feels like you are in the Medieval time, really nice.
Great central location, close to many bars, restaurants, and city attractions. Hostal staff was very friendly and helpful. Plumbing and hot water were not a problem. Cheap price for a cheap hostal. Glad we only stayed one night.
Building was very old and in need of major rennovation. Not accessible by car parking was a 10 min. walk. Windows and doors had holes which leaked in cold air and noise. No type of heating or air conditioning available. We could not have stayed more than one night.
It is very close to the most important sights in cordoba
The facilities are bad WiFi didn't work efficiently It was too could and there is no heating Many things in the rooms need to be fixed
The hotel is in a quiet area, an alley of the main street behind the entrance gate of the city, close to the cathedral and other sights. The transport facilities are quite good, you can use the public transport for your sight seeing trips. The bus terminal and train station are opposite each other. The bus that stops at the bus stop close to the gate, will bring you to the bus / train terminal.
Life in Cordoba seems not to start before 11am. There were no coffee shops close to the hotel. My room seems to be the worse of the hotel. No window view at all. Wifi was promised in the room however due to the thick walls the signal was very bad.
The hostal is near the city center and good price
