Vincci Puertochico is situated just metres from Puertochico Marina, with fantastic views over Santander Bay. The soundproofed, air-conditioned rooms offer free Wi-Fi and 1 free extra bed for children....

Access via pedestrianised roadway at rear of hotel which provides to entry to the secure underground parking. Next door to high street shops, with the large quality store 'Cortes Ingles' only a short drive (10mins max). Ferry terminal 2 minutes away. Hotel Café popular with locals.
Everything. Brilliant situation and very reasonable. Has a private car park which must be pre-booked.
Overnight stop prior to spending day looking around Sntander and then catching ferry back to uk. Were impressed with the room, very spacious great breakfast and helpfull staff. Unusual access to car park via car lift but very secure.
Problem locating hotel via sat nav - we could see it but because of pedestrian only area's could not drive to it. Eventually gave up walked to hotel and then got directions through one way system and drove along pedestrian only street to hotel garage
The hotel has been tastefully refurbished over the eight years that we have been staying there. Perfect location for the shops, ferry port and a varied selection of eateries. Secure car park on the premises. We always enjoy our stay at Bahia.
Thats a difficult question neither my wife nor I can constructively answer.
good bed every day new. nice bar and restaurant
floor not really clean( hair).
Pleasent hotel, well appointed rooms. Attentive staff. God location. Their own underground car park is cheaper than the nearby public one.
In-room Wifi was not working. Was blamed on a storm. Was offered option of moving to a different room to find better reception! Have experienced too many lame excuses (although there was a storm) in Spanish hotels for their rubbish WiFi.
The room was well comfortable
The room was not always clean. I could hear sometimes the guests next room speaking. The bathroom smelled.
We had to cancel booking due to ferry twice, never a problem with staff from Hotel This was not first time we have stayed here, but first time with proper breakfast buffet, the only small complaint that we had, cooked breakfast bit cold but don't let this stop you making good next time. very good all round just been renovated all though good before
The ease of the check-in, the size of the room, the bed, the bathroom and the location.
20 minutes walk to beach and in central location in the old town
Recent refurbishment is excellent. Central location, handy for the ferry, shops and eateries Secure parking Comfortable bed Spacious room Good service with English speaking staff
Breakfast could have been hotter Long bolster pillow is a bit hard but other pillows are available in the wardrobe. Dinner not available in restaurant until 8.30pm
Newly refurbished - clean, modern and appealing.
Wifi was very iffy from the 8th floor. Instructions to access carlift were less than clear. Toilet was not scrupulously clean.
Very close to ferrys, a good walk to beaches (suggest use the bus) great for restaurants and shopping. Family room was excellent with built in largish bunk beds in one room separate from main bedroom by two doors and bathroom making ours reasonably private. the view at the bay side of the hotel was beautiful, Food excellent as were wines but loads of nearby restaurants. Close to underground public car parking and adjacent to a park (culture)
wi fi was weak dropping in and out. private parking 15 euros a night but convenient and secure,
I liked every thing except the bad wireless reception in my room 746 which they said will look into the problem and try to solve it.
The lack of wireless signal.
we have useed the Bahia on sevearal occasions on our return to the uk via ferry and never been dissapointed it is a excellent hotel very clean rooms which are spacious with very comfortable beds and it has recently been updated throughout making it even more welcoming.
as with lots of spanish hotels if you want an early mornig cuppa take your travel kettle as theres no facilities in rooms.
Rooms were spotless and so very comfortable! The kids loved the built in bunk beds and the family room was a hit with the kids! Everything a traveller could want was available in the bathroom was complimentary. The location was perfect and we wished we were able to stay longer will def go back and stay again!
Loved location & room with fantastic views , triple aspect was amazing.
Wi-fi could have been more reliable/but apart from that nothing to complain about really . Oh yes didn't like bolster pillow - would prefer 2 individual ones / small matter.
breakfast/car parking pricey
Modern, comfortable hotel in the city centre, opposite the ferry terminal. Many restaurants close by.
The location, staff and room was absolutely perfect. The hotel is beautiful and the views from our room were amazing. Great experience.
Beautiful comfortable room. Fabulous sea view. Quality furnishings and stylish interiors.
The reception staff ( with a couple of exceptions) were rather curt and lacked the ability to be genuinely welcoming. Some hospitality training perhaps given that they are the first point of contact in any hotel?
stayed in this hotel for 2nights in october.great hotel and a great city. didnt bother eating in as there are hundreds of places nearby.would definitely stay here again.
Great hotel, very helpful staff and very central.
Bed was not as comfortable as I expected for a hotel of this standard
Location was excellent. By the port with great views. Plenty of bars offering selection of tapas nearby and within 5 minutes walking distance. We didn't reserve breakfast at the hotel and found a number of inexpensive cafe's within 3 mins walk of the hotel. The hotel met the 4 star standard set excellent shower and comfy room. Hotel staff really helpful. The ferry and boat trips were less than 5 minutes walk and once the building work is complete it will be a really pleasant area. Train and bus station about 5-10 mins walk. We had a lovely time in Santander and would certainly recommend this hotel.
There was nothing to fault about the hotel and location but if you were visiting Santander in the summer with a view to spending the majority of time on the beach you would be quite a distance from the main beaches with the nearest beach being about 20 - 30 mins walk. I believe there is a bus service but we didn't make use of this.
We were given a sea view room as the other rooms were sold out and I must say it was well worth the money. The view was fantastic and the room spacious and luxurious. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was so well equipped. It was a perfect location for catching the ferry back home. We will definitely use this hotel again
The hard pillows and no wifi in room
